Cute shoe - Really liked the styling and fit. My daughter has a wide foot and these fit great. The buckle is just for show. The strap is actually velcro, which in hindsight was something that I should have looked for when searching. The velcro makes it much easier to put on & off.

We love this brand - this is our second pair of Kid Express. My daughter is picky about shoes - she would prefer to wear her sneakers but wears these willingly. I think b/c they are so comfortable. And they hold up well to every day wear. The patent leather shows no scuffing.

Adorable - This shoe is adorable and fits well. It is the second time I've ordered it, and the old pair had a real buckle, so I guess I didn't read this most recent description (or the reviews) very closely, because the velcro surprised me -- doesn't matter, still great looking, and easier to put on and take off. We have the brown patent leather, and they are very durable.

Dress or casual - Great school shoe for our 6th grade pre-teen. She can wear these for Sunday school and other semi-dressy occations. Hard to find flat strap shoes for a 12 year old that are not to grownup looking. Thanks Zappos.

These shoes are very cute. Great quality. My daughter has narrow feet, so these are a bit wide.

Just Adorable! These shoes are so cute on my little girl and they seem to be very comfortable for her. We have them in fuchsia & I've received tons of compliments from other moms. Note...the T-strap is not a true buckle, it’s Velcro. I love these shoes so much we’re going to order another pair in black.

ADORABLE, COMFORTABLE SHOES - These are probably my favorite shoes EVER that I've bought for my daughter. Not only are they beautiful shoes, but they are extremely comfortable too. They're a great fit, very soft, flexible but sturdy sole and simply adorable. I liked the black patent so much, that I ordered another pair in the burnished dark brown leather.

These shoes are light and very comfortable. They have a velcro strap, but looks like its a buckle strap, preserving its look. I love it, so does my daughter. Zappos you guys need to teach others about customer service!

Adorable! My six year loves these and wants to wear them everyday! Very comfortable, no break-in period needed. They are sweet, cute, and she can run in them. And, as always, Zappos quick and convenient service is awesome!

Cute. Not good for a high instep. My daughter often needs wide shoes, although her actual foot's width is not too wide, her instep is high. I tried in vain to give these a shot, because when the 9's arrived, she fell in love with them, but were so darn tight across the top, there was no way we could keep them. I returned them and ordered 9 1/2's thinking they might be a little too long, but would work across the top. No luck. Too tight also. Sadly, I'm on the hunt for another cute pink dress shoe for Easter.

Great color and finish to this shoe, but it runs small. I bought other size 33's which fit fine, but regrettably have to return these for bigger size.

Adorable shoes and comfortable, but they are not very durable if you need them for a school shoe. My daughter wore these with her uniform everyday and by November they were completely trashed. She's not unusually hard on her shoes so it must be that they are too delicate. The finish on the leather was the first thing to go and then the soles peeled apart and the leather on the velcro buckle ripped too...so, they are cute for occasional use, but not for every day!

Size small - These fit a size small - these are a Euro 25 and a US 8 NOT a 9. Also, they are not worth the $58 spent - they are made cheaply. Spend an extra $20 and great a really great patent leather shoe.

Disappointed Mom - I bought these shoes for my seven year old daughter for the 2008-2009 school year. My daughter has worn them every day to school in conjunction with her school uniform for the past three months, and they are trashed. At first they were very cute shoes, but the "leather or is it pleather?" is peeling off the shoes. The shoe itself is comfortable, but the outside of the shoe has not held up and looks horrible. I took them to a shoe cobbler and there was not much he could do to make them look better. Once the shiny leather top on the shoe comes off, there is no shoe polish in the world to fix it.

It's a lovely shoe that my daughter loved, but unfortunately the Velcro fell apart after a mere two weeks. And of course she had worn them, so we can't return them. Spend your money on a different brand.

Great shoe! Ordered it for church, so they aren't worn on daily basis. My daughter is 2 1/2, so she's pretty hard on shoes. These are soft, flexible, and comfortable. My ONLY complaint is that my daughter has a wide foot, so the velcro strap doesn't cover all the velcro when putting them on (stops an inch short)...but they still stay on!

These shoes for my granddaughter were wonderful, they look so cute with the school uniform code, especially with her pink striped knee socks, however, my favorite is still the Primgi shoes and we also got these in white and they look wonderful with her navy shorts and skirts.

My daughter LOVED these- she’s so thrilled about them - loves how they are shiny pink.. thinks they are very special. They seem really durable and they fit perfectly- don’t seem to run big or small, I’m really happy with the purchase and thrilled she’s excited about some dress shoes!
