While the shoes are very cute and look like great quality, the color pictured as lime patent is quite yellow, which is why I ordered. The color of the shoes I received is a fluorescent green.

Darling shoes. The burnished red color was more brown-ish and I am sending them back for another color.

These shoes are adorable, but o do have a gripe: the leather wears SO fast. A couple of weeks after getting them, the toes were looking pretty shabby. I polished them. My daughter came from school the next day and they were nearly as bad as before I polished them. Now, a couple of months later, the seams attaching the velcro to the fake buckle have come undone.

Bought in teal and pink for my 5 year old twins and they are absolutely adorable! We've received many compliments on them in Singapore where we live. However, after only a few wears, the velcro that closes the shoes started to fall apart of BOTH pairs, making the shoes fall off the children. It's so sad as we all love them and the girls can no longer wear them. They are true to size and very comfortable, especially for a dress shoe. Comfortable enough to wear for school days and even PE days. But, they were a huge cost each, not worth it for a few cute wears. I'm so tempted to buy another pair hoping it was a fluke, as I've been wanting the red color for them, but I'm just not sure how they'll hold up.

This review is for the burnished leather only. (The patent shoes get 5 stars!) We had the red patent cherry Mollys and they were awesome. They wore so well and were so cute! When I needed the next size up, the red/cherry patent was out of stock and so I bought the red burnished leather. I was not as fond of this color as the patent, but it would work. Unfortunately, the red leather is not holding up as well as the patent. The patent was indestructible as far as I am concerned, so maybe my expectations are too high. My daughter wears these to school, so she is crawling around the playground and putting them through all sorts of mayhem. Please Zappos, if they still make these, get more of the red cherry patent, navy patent and black patent. These are the best uniform shoes ever.

Cute shoes, well made, but too small. My daughter usually wears a 2-2.5, and the 34's (3-3.5) were too snug.

Unfortunately, this shoe was a disappointment. The velcro does not hold up, and after only a couple of months my daughter could not wear them because they would not stay fastened. It's a shame, because they are such cute shoes...

Bought this shoe for my second grader as a shoe to wear with her uniforms... The first time, it lasted about a month before the sole started to detach. Zappos replacement process was awesome, as usual...they resent a new pair, but now 5 months later, without everyday wear, the sole is detaching again. I don't understand because it seemed like such a great, comfortable shoe for my daughter, but it simply isn't holding up through the school year. I gave it 2 stars, because it was nice, while it lasted...

Really cute shoes however...I purchased these as a school shoe for my 6 year old in mid August and by mid October the stitching had totally come undone on one of the straps and fell apart. For the price, I definitely expected them to last more than 2 months. Really disappointing since I loved the look and the fact that they were velcro. My daughter thought they were comfortable too.

These shoes are adorable. The leather is very soft, the style is classic, and my daughter says they are comfortable. I was prepared to order them in more colors, but after less than two weeks of wear, the Velcro is detaching from the buckle. Call me old fashioned, but add this to the reasons I prefer a true functional buckle to a faux one backed with Velcro. I will stick with the Aster Dingo from here on out.

These shoes are adorable and are very well made. However, I ordered a toddler size 6 for my granddaughter, and they were smaller than the toddler size 5 party shoes that she is outgrowing. I am returning them.

Ordered this for my daughter. She wore them once to school and a coating on the leather peeled off. This pair may have been defective. Returned them and ordered the patent leather.

i purchased this in pink for my one year old as she needed a close toe shoe to have in her classroom. i cant express enough, "YOU DO NOT WANT TO BUY THIS SHOE". I am someone who rarely leaves comments but was compelled to here as quality of this shoe is extremely poor. The shoe is adorable but if you expect your little to walk in these shoes and have these shoes last then this is not for you. the leather quality is ok but the velcro is already coming off. the shoe is still in like new condition and my daughter only wears them part of the day but i have to buy her new shoes and the school has complained to me and I had to agree with them - and now buy new shoes!!! fyi: i have 4 children and are pretty familiar with infant shoes. you do not want to buy this one!

This was a terrible shoe. After only a few weeks of use the sole separated from the shoe. Terrible.

These shoes run very small and very narrow. Would not purchase again.

Have loved these shoes in the past, but when the shoes arrived clearly used I was pretty disgusted. The Velcro was worn, the shoe size listed on the inside of the shoe was rubbed off, etc. Seriously?! No thank you, Zappos.

These shoes were so awful I’m absolutely baffled by the amazing five-star reviews from everyone else. The only explanation can be that they are canned reviews from friends of the brand/designer. They are really hard, clunky, and stiff and I can’t imagine they’d be very comfortable for a toddler. I ordered the black patent leather and the cut-out pattern in the front was so untidy the entire shoe looked like an off market shoe that somehow made it to Zappo’s, but belongs on those deal websites that sell cheap quality brands purportedly at “deal” prices, when their actually value iseven less than the deal price. Any way. This shoe was definitely not worth the price and was promptly returned.
