This is the most miserable shoe I've ever worn. At first, I thought it was because I purchased it as a Zumba shoe, and they would naturally fit differently than a running shoe. Too late, I realized this shoe is just not right for my feet. It doesn't just hug the arch and midsection of my foot--it strangles it. I have the shoes laced as loosely as possible and still keep them on my feet, and my feet are still screaming halfway through the Zumba hour. I have trusted Nike in the past, but now hear from my fellow internet-purchasing shoe friends that Nike sizing has changed, and not for the better. I will not purchase these shoes again, and chalk up the money wasted as a reason never to buy athletic shoes online again.

I tried these for high intensity Zumba. Hurt my feet in the arches so much! I am a size 6 in sneakers and got a 6. Seemed to fit fine until I did some major Zumba work and after a several jumps and landings my feet were killing me before I even broke a sweat. I don't recommend for anyone with low arches and mine even aren't low!

Sorry to say these are super uncomfortable. Keep trying to wear them hoping they will get better with no luck.

I decided to purchase this shoe from the previous reviews. They are not leather and they were hard. I broke them in by walking in them before wearing them to a Zumba class. They are just okay, I will not buy again.

Any 'dance' sneaker with a rubber sole or identified as giving 'traction' is Not safe for dance moves where you spin. You can really wreck your knees & ankles. Use either tread free sneakers or better, suede soled real dance shoes or sneakers.
I'd also recommend:
Suede bottomed shoes, any brand.

Two tries and I was disappointed the shoe did not fit. It seems to have a tight toe box and the shoe itself is stiff and not very flexible. Perhaps not a shoe for the "mature" foot.

I had to buy these shoes in size 8.5 since they did not carry 8. Found they were too long and hurt my feet. Need to return for credit.

I read all the reviews on this Sneaker. And from what I read was impressed. I do Zumba and have I have bad feet and after reading all these wonderful reviews I felt like I was mislead. First off the sneaker/shoe is UGLY Second it was a tough and I think to heavy to wear for any sort of exercise, which I've been doing for over 35 years. So with that said I would not recommend these if you want something light and comfortable. Just my input on what I like for a sneaker/shoe. On the plus side as always Zappos is a wonderful site to buy shoes from. There process has been wonderful. I've used the for over 15 years and they have never let me down on any problems. Thanks Zappos Team!

Good looking shoes but very uncomfortable. I teach Zumba and Cardio Kickboxing and was hoping these shoes will do the trick. Sole is good for rotational movement but it is really a hard shoe. My feet ache so badly every time I use them. I am returning them.

I ordered this shoe based on your reviews and they fit fair but not the best to do Zumba. They are kluncky and hard to adjust to fit my foot, they are either too tight or too loose. I really should have sent them back but I wanted them to work and by that time I felt it was too late to send them back. I would never purchase them again. I've done Zumba in them probably 3 times and did not perform well as they are too big, just not a good fit.
I'd also recommend:
Ryka Transition.

Very heavy...not a good fit if you are buying this fast dancing. Also the sole has so much friction forget about turns with these shoes.

Worst training shoe I have ever used! I bought them for zumba and salsa classes, but after only one class I had to throw in the towel. My feet were hurting terribly, even in the knees where I have never ever had a problem before. This shoe must be designed for people with low arches. For girls like myself, with a high arch, they are absolutely dreadful! Stay away if you have a high arch. The design is very nice, but the shoe looks longer than most because it is a bit on the larger side. I went for a Nike Free TR Fit 2 instead and that felt like coming home! Wonderful shoe with good arch support. I am also considering buying a Bloch Dance sneaker model as split soles are best for dancing. I have always been happy with my Nike shoes and is still an avid Nike fan, but Nike Musique IV does not do the job at all.

This shoe was absolute misery. I didn't think anything could make me dislike Zumba until I tried the Nike Musique IV. The overall body of the shoe is too stiff, probably as a result of the vinyl-like strips that criss-cross the mid-foot area, or the use of man-made materials. There was no discernible support for bouncing or jumping. The soles were WAY too sticky, making any quick movements almost impossible and probably dangerous. The sizing also felt off, or was at least extremely uncomfortable. The shoe seemed too narrow. My feet actually went numb in these, which has never happened to me before - and I go through a lot of exercise shoes. After wearing the Musique IVs, I had pain in my heel, which also has never happened with any other shoe, and my feet and ankles needed constant stretching. Even the other women at the Zumba studio commented on the shoes, saying that they had also tried them and were disappointed by how uncomfortable they were. I have used Zumba-brand Z-Kicks, Ryka Transition, and Ryka Studio D for Zumba, and Saucony, New Balance, Reebok, and Asics for general training. While I know shoes are personal, I would strongly caution anyone against using Nike Musique IVs for Zumba or any similar activity.

These were stiff, hard and cheap looking. Can't imagine walking or working out in them. Back they go! Love Zappos though!

The shoe hurts my foot. I loved the look and the bottom of the shoe looked great for zumba, but the first time I put them on I could tell the top of the shoe design was going to hurt my foot. I did one workout in them and I had marks on my feet. I am sending them back!

I was astounded, given the high ratings, that when I first tried these on, they felt really stiff, uncomfortable, and cheap. I couldn't return them fast enough!

I can't understand the rave reviews of these shoes for Zumba. I have a narrow foot, and they were too narrow for me - even when I went a half size up. Additionally, there was little to no support for the arch or ball of the foot. I found my circulation being cut off as I danced. Disappointing.

I bought these and the Ryka Studio D's to try for Zumba. These shoes were absolutely horrible. They have a very high arch support in them, so for someone without high arches in their feet it makes you feel like your feet are leaning toward the outside. They were painful to wear, my ankles felt as if they were both twisted after the class. The Ryka Studio D's, however, felt like I was dancing on clouds. Excellent support, light weight and easy to move in. I suggest you buy those instead!

I ordered these after reading reviews that they were great support for flat feet, specifically for Zumba. I returned them. They are so stiff and bulky! I have an extremely narrow foot and the footbed in my regular size 7 was too long, but they were so narrow they rubbed against my pinky toes as I was moving. They definitely are not the sleek, flexible dance shoe I thought they were! The only nice thing about them was the smooth sole and pivot point.

I am very, very disappointed in Nike going to an all synthetic leather shoe. Your feet cannot breath and I know where this shoe orginated, real leather! I would only purchase the open with mesh; never again an all synthetic shoe and did you see the price? Nike is making 100% plus on a very below average shoe.

I bought this shoe for Zumba. It is to stiff and did not get softer as I wore them. After class my ankles hurt and that is something that never happened with my other sneakers. Just not a good shoe all around.

I got it for zumba because of all the good reviews but returned it after a week as they hurt and were not comfortable. I hated every second of wearing it. Never had a tennis shoe to hurt before.
