Not the same as earlier versions! I have an earlier version of these shoes and love them. I was disappointed that this version is all leather (not leather and textile mesh, as before) and somewhat clunky-looking.

Maybe this shoe would be more comfortable on a narrower foot, but it was very painful for me. The pair I received had a strange bulge in the lining in the toe of my right foot where it had some sewing defect, which obviously added to the discomfort. There is little to no arch support so my feet got very tired about half way through Zumba class. It also did not seem to turn easily despite the pivot point on the sole. It looks great in photos, but looked very clunky on my foot, which again may be because I have a wider foot. I really wanted to like these, but they are being returned. Never been a huge fan of Nike, this shoe definitely did not change my opinion.

Should have taken negative reviews to heart. I wore these for my Zumba Gold class. My feet were killing me and my toes were burning. Now I'm stuck with them. The one positive note is these do allow you to pivot smoothly but not comfortable at all. Since I can't return them will wear them a few more times to see if it gets better. This is precisely why ordering online really sucks.

Horrid! I was expecting an all white cheer shoe, like shown in the picture, yet I got a white shoe, but the zig-zag design on the side of the show was yellowish white, it looked horrible!

I usually wear a size 7 1/2 medium, but sized up to an 8 for this shoe. I found it very uncomfortable even in the larger size. It was much too narrow, with absolutely no give. Wide widths should stay away. Sorry to say this shoe is going back.

After reading the rave reviews, I ordered these shoes for zumba. When they arrived, I put them on and was shocked to be wearing the most stiff and uncomfortable shoes I have ever put on. I tried walking around my bedroom, the shoes squeaking and biting into the tops of my toes with every step. I kept them on for awhile longer, thinking I must be crazy, but they were absolutely awful. Returned immediately.

I do aerobics 6 days a week and like a lightweight shoe, which this is. I'm returning it because it has no arch support.

I was excited to get these shoes as I read all the positive reviews. But unfortunately they didn't meet my expectations. They slip on the aerobics floor and hurt my ankles. Really hard to do anything with a wide stance.

Wanted so much to like these shoes. However, the synthetic leather aka pleather aka vinyl really is another disappointing shoe from Nike. I think I could get past the slightly narrow width, but I just can't get past the cheapness of the pretend leather.

This shoe was small even though I ordered a half size larger. The toebox is narrow and the sole is really stiff compared to the Innova-195 and Ryka Transition.

I purchased the gray pair and love the look of them but had to return them because they made a popping sound with each step I took. It might have stopped after some wear but it drove me crazy for the short time I tried them. It was the upper on the shoe from bending and popping back out (quite loud). Also, I have medium width feet and these felt too narrow. The toe box crushed my toes in and was not comfortable. Too bad because they were cute!

This was my first order from Zappos and they have definitely wowed me! I ordered my shoes at 8:00 PM on a Saturday and received my purchase on Monday about noon - Christmas eve! That is amazing! Unfortunately these shoes are very narrow and uncomfortable. I have narrow feet so I am surprised that they do not fit. The length appeared to be fine and they are super cute but be careful if you have wide feet.

This Nike Shoe is definitely not built for multidirectional movements involved in Dance classes. I am currently doing Zumba and some other dance class and bought this shoe specifically for those classes. After reading the product description and some of the reviews, I thought I made a good choice. But, I am proved wrong. I feel the blood circulation is blocked in my feet due to the outer sole design which squishes the foot arch and doesn't provide any foot support in movements. My feet went numb after 1 hour class and I was in so much pain in the intial few mins of the class. I can't imagine for which purpose buying these shoes would be a sensible idea. Nike should seriously reconsider the viability of this shoe design or take it out of the market.

I have worn Nike's exclusively for the last 15 years, but now they make funky no-support "free" shoes, or the Musique which is so stiff in the front end that my toes hurt when I try to roll through the foot. Very disappointing! I have to find another brand of shoe now.

After reading all of the wonderful reviews about this shoe, I thought I had found what I've been looking for, but it was much too tight. In order to have them fit, I almost had to leave the laces undone. I think it's a Nike thing.

I bought these with the hopes that they would be acceptable for work. When I got them they looked more like a man's shoe than a women's. They were very wide, ran big and were not comfortable.

These shoes were stiff and not very comfy. I didn't think they would stretch well so they would end up being OK, so I sent them back. I liked the look of them though!

These are horrible. I had the Nike Musique IV mesh ones before and loved them, these don't give at all.

Very uncomfortable shoe! I've had these for months & they never "broke-in". Extremely stiff, lots of blisters & callouses. Getting rid of them.

Nike stated to me that they had redesigned this shoe as customers, in the past, complained they were too small by a size. However, they are much narrower and shouldn't be stated that they are a medium (B) in width. After wearing Nikes for years, I will be trying another brand.

Based on other reviews, I purchased these shoes for Zumba. For me, these shoes are absolutely, positively not good for Zumba! They may be good for something, but they are way too stiff for Zumba. They also ran a 1/2 size too small. In addition to these sneakers, I tried Ryka Studio D, Ryka Studio D Mid, and Ryka Studio Flex Low. Although they were lighter and more flexible than the Nike Musique IV, they all ran a 1/2 size too small and did not offer enough cushioning for high-impact dance routines. From the moment I tried each pair of shoes on, I could tell they wouldn't work for class (I tried them out by jumping around on my carpeted floor at home...and my knees were crying!). Needless to say, all four sneakers are being returned. My Zumba instructor recommended that I try Brooks PureCadence (she teaches 3-5 times a week and that's what she wears), so I bought a pair and they are perfect! Although these are running shoes, the soles are surprisingly smooth enough for easy pivoting and the shoes are very lightweight, flexible, and offer great arch support and cushioning (and they come in cool colors). They are a bit pricey, but I highly recommend giving Brooks PureCadence a try if you're looking for an awesome shoe to Zumba your way to better fitness (while preventing injury in the process).

I do zumba every day, using them is like a punishment. They are so hard and uncomfortable. I paid full price, after I used them, I say to myself...what a big mistake.

I wore these shoes one time for a Zumba class, the leather beside the strings dug into my foot and by the end of the class I was limping. I didn't find that these shoes were smooth enough and I caught myself several times. I ended up giving these to a friend and getting some Rykas. Also, order a half size larger!

I bought this for Jazzercise and it has been a big disappointment. It is very stiff and unyielding; making it very difficult to break in. I think I shall give up and go back to Nike Frees. My arches ache after an hour class with these!

I bought these for Zumba. Shoes were terribly stiff and never softened up before I returned them. These caused my feet to go numb halfway through class. Just...clunky!
