Quality made shoes. My little guy loves to run around in them. Seem to be true to size. However, being the toddler boy he is,he always opens the velcro flap and tries, sometimes successfully, to take them off. Should have probably purchased the tie-up style.

Great shoes! This is our 2nd pair of New Balances, and we love them. These are great because of the velcro. My son has a wide foot, and we bought these slightly large on him. He loves them and they look wonderful.

Shoes worked out great for my son. Zappos service is wonderful they upgraded express for free and my package arrived the next day!

My two sons, both with wide feet, have gone through many pairs of New Balance. This particular shoe is one of the best in terms of durability. The styling is classic and my 2-year-old has no problem getting them on and off by himself.

These shoes are great! The shoes open enough for them to independently put their own shoes on. Colors are as shown in picture and very nice quality!

This is my 2nd pair of New Balance's 993. I bought my son's first pair a few days earlier in Gray. I love these shoes! They are wide, which makes it easier to put on. My son, who is 3.5 years, loves them as well. I'm already keeping my eye on a different color, but I'll just get them in the next size for my kid.

These are great for my 23 month old. He has very wide feet, and the wide 7.5 fit him very well. They are not very flexible in the sole like he's used to, but they're good for playing outside since they protect his feet well. I like Sauconys better for him, but they are beginning to be too narrow, and they don't come in wide sizes like these do. I'm sure we'll buy them again.

My almost two year old son has extremely wide feet (wide and thick). It is hard to find shoes for him in regular department stores, with the exception of stride rites. But there are not many styles to choose from in the Stride Rite store near me. The New Balance XW fit him great! And they look good too. I would recommend these to anyone with a toddler with extra wide feet like mine.

Alas! My son has the widest feet ever. We've tried Pediped, See Kai Run, and many other brands. We ordered this one in the XW and they fit like a dream.

I have been a New Balance wearer (and fan) for years and was very excited to find that I could buy them for my 2 1/2 year old. Very well made and seem to be comfortable. I was happy to find these in a wide width, as I've been having to buy shoes too long for my son in order to accommodate his wide feet. All in all, I will continue to buy New Balance for the whole family!

My 2 year old has graduated from the more babyish looking white version of NB shoes to these. He seems to move around fine in them, they are easy on and off, and stay on, and accommodate his wide feet. Good daycare/everyday shoe.

A great shoe. I originally got the wide size but had to exchange them for the regular width, because I didn't realize NB already run wide.

My son is on his 3rd pair of these shoes and 5th consecutive pair of this style New Balance. They give him great support and fit well. He considers them his "fast" shoes. He loves these sneakers over any other type. They do run small, so buy a size bigger.

My grandson wears a wide width shoe. I was very happy to find him a good shoe and good price as well. Sturdy built shoe.

The sneakers are great! True to size and very easy to put on a squirming toddler. I would highly recommend these sneakers to any busy mom who needs to get their kids out the door fast.

These shoes are true to size and very nice looking for kids. We had been Stride Rite buyers because they carry wide width shoes for kids, refreshing to be able to purchase something else that works just as well.

A great fit for my kids' huge feet! These have lasted for over a year, even through the washer a couple of times, and still no hole/rips. Buy 'em!

Really like these but we also purchased the 503 style and they seem to be a little more flexible whereas these seem to be a little stiff. I also prefer the styling of the 503. Overall I would say it's a good durable shoe for toddlers, especially for those with wide feet like my son!

My son has a wide foot and a high instep. This is one of the most comfortable pair of shoes for him to wear.

We bought these for our 2 1/2 year old. We cannot seem to find the velcro New Balance anywhere, so we were so excited to find them on Zappos.com! Our son loves them and we are thrilled with how well they hold up!
