Money well spent. I'm a medical student and I've had so much trouble finding shoes that were comfortable enough to wear all day in the hospital without giving me blisters or sending me home with sore knees. Everyone from doctors to nurses to administrators has Danskos and all those people can't be wrong, right? So I bought my first pair -- black Professionals -- just in time to start my clinical years. And now they're the only shoes I wear to work! Unfortunately the Professional isn't all that attractive with skirts, and I'd like to have more than one pair of work shoes, so I ordered the Marcelles in cordovan. The seams and some of the edges in the forefoot will need to be loosened up and softened a bit before I wear them barefoot (I could wear my Professionals barefoot right away) but I have all winter to wear them with socks and soften them up. I'm very pleased with these shoes. The color is really versatile and they fit just like my Professionals (I'm a size 8 and I bought them in a 38). Plus they look cute with skirts as well as my work pants and jeans. I recommend Danskos to all my classmates and anyone else who's looking for comfortable shoes that last.

Best shoes ever! I LOVE Danskos! After 2 years on my feet in crappy converse, I was starting to develop plantar fascitis. I can barely stand without my Danskos now. They have reversed a great deal of my injury just by the support that they give my arch. However, they did take about 2 weeks to fully break in so that they were comfy. But, after that, I have walked and stood in these shoes for hours and hours and my feet are relatively pain free.

Best shoes ever! I was a little hesitant at first to purchase a pair of Dansko’s but I am very glad that I did! These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn and are very much worth the cost! I am now forever a Dansko fan.

Wonderful Shoe - This is a very comfortable shoe that goes nicely with jeans. The strap is adjustable, so I was able to tighten it up a bit to get the perfect fit. (I usually wear a 7.5, and a 38 in Dansko.) I would recommend these shoes to anyone!

Dansko Marcelle - I live in a city and needed shoes that looked nice and that I could also walk in for decently long distances. I am not one to kill my feet with pointy shoes, so these suit my sense of practicality AND comfort, yet they have a nice aesthetic appeal as well. I have no complaints and am very pleased with my purchase. I have already gotten several compliments from coworkers and friends and have only been wearing my new shoes for a little over a week.

Great Shoe! This is my very first pair of Danskos. I thought the mary jane look was very cute and I needed some cute but comfy shoes for my work in retail management. These are definitely a great shoe for being on your feet all day. My friend is in healthcare and she swears by these shoes (She has the Marcelle also). I now own a pair of professional Danskos also, and have to admit that they are more comfy with/without socks. The Marcelle needs socks because the leather pieces stitched together rub against my feet.

Fantastic! I love these shoes! They are wide....but the strap on the top keeps them functional and comfortable! Muy Fabuloso!!!

#1 nursing shoe - The first shift that I wore them I brought my Professionals as a back up. No need-- I wore the Marcelle for 13 hours and forgot they were new shoes. There's a plastic support thingy in the inside of the heel that looked like bad new for my feet, but it didn't even register thru thin socks. They fit my flat feet like a dream, breathe a bit better than the Professional, and are as cute as nursing shoes can get (I was complimented). Plus Zappos is the best--fast and all around excellent service.

Love the Marcelle! I have this shoe in three colors now, that's how much I love it! I'm a teacher and am on my feet all day at work. Dansko keeps my knees and feet from aching at the end of the day. The Marcelle is easy to dress up or down and I get lots of compliments on how cute it is. And I think the cordovan is the most versatile color choice. I think it fits very much like the professional but looks better with skirts and dressier slacks.

My cordovan Marcelle’s are gorgeous and go with everything. The first two days the shoes felt a bit hard and the top of my toes hurt a bit, but after that they're perfect. I am usually a 6.5, and the 36 is the correct size for me. The recommended size of 37 is way too large.

Best shoes I've ever owned - I have plantar fasciitis and these clogs are the best. I can wear them all day and wake up the next day with no pain; I love them.

great all aorund shoe - Great all around shoe- This is my favorite Dankso of all time. Well, I LOVE many of the sandals, don't get me wrong, but I live in a climate that we don't wear sandals year round. These go with jeans, skirts and pants. It is comfortable enough to wear to work, up on your feet all day, and my 3 year old pair still looks new!

Perfect! I have always wanted Dansko’s, but my high arch makes the traditional clogs uncomfortable as they rub the top of my foot. Enter in the Marcelle...the break hits at the perfect spot on my foot making this my new favorite shoe! Highly recommended...cute and comfortable!

Great shoe! This shoe is my 23rd pair of Dansko’s! I am an intensive care nurse and on my feet a lot and I only wear Dansko’s to work. They are so comfortable that I have started a collection of Dansko’s to wear off duty. This shoe is very stylish and cute with jeans or a skirt. Pay attention to the fit advice on the website. Dansko and Zappos - a great combination!

Love this comfortable shoe. This is my second pair...they are so comfortable. Give yourself a few days to get used to the high strap.

My New Favorite Brand - Living in a city, I walk several blocks a day. The Dansko Marcelle was comfortable from the first moment, and very classy. No rubbing or discomfort. I went with advice to order a larger size, and it was a perfect fit. Getting ready to order another pair of Dansko’s right away!

Wonderful shoes! These are incredibly comfortable without sacrificing the cute factor. A great choice for situations where you're on your feet for long periods or are walking a lot. As a bonus, if you're a knitter, these do a fab job of showing off those hand knit socks you worked so hard on.

I want to wear these all the time! I have only had these for a week or so and don't want to wear my other shoes anymore...even my sneakers. They were instantly comfortable, the only part that needed breaking in were my little toes. They are not a cushy type of shoe (feel soft and pillow-like). But, they are still very comfortable and more importantly, supportive. Plus, they look cute and can be worn with so many things!

Great Shoes - I originally ordered the classic Dansko and found that the Marcelle had a little more sass. Super comfortable and cute.

LOVE THESE SHOES! These shoes are amazingly comfortable and look awesome! For European sizes, though, they run big. I usually wear a 38, but had to go down to a 37.

Dansko Marcelle - Great shoe not only to wear, but also has great looks. Received many compliments at work while wearing this shoe. Looks very professional, is great for working on slippy surfaces. Haven’t slipped one time on a wet floor. Would recommend them to anyone!

Runs small - I love these shoes and Dansko in general, but wanted to mention that this style seems to run small. I wear either 7 1/2 - 8 (each about half the time), but had to return the 38s for a pair of 39s, which is a US size 9, which I've never worn before.

Perfect fit - I was nervous about the fit, but the size is perfect. The look is great and the price awesome!

Marcelle - I love this style. I have 3 pairs in 3 different colors!
