Not for those with small ankles and/or large calves - I have the unfortunate combination of small ankles and large calves and these boots failed me on both fronts. They were baggy around my ankles (very unattractive) and I couldn't zip them up - please note, if you have large calves these boots DO NOT have any elastic at the top so there is no give (they either fit or they don't). I'm really disappointed - I wanted these boots to work, they are so cute and I love Sofft shoes! But these were not the boot for me, so back they go.

Disappointed - I will be returning them. They are a very practical and comfortable boot- my returning them is because I wanted a sexy boot with a fat heel. This is not sexy, but it is comfortable. I guess from the picture I misjudged it. It's a real nice boot - just not the look I was after. I will be returning them soon. Thank you.
