I have been wearing these Dr. Martens for 14 years and love them. They are very comfortable and wear well. I have two other pairs of Dr. Martens low cut shoes also.

My husband needed a work boot that that had three requirements: They must be steel toe, they must cover his ankle, and they must have great tread. These fit the bill and then some. The first pair he purchased was three years ago, and he walked them out. The sole has been worn down and getting a new pair was better than having them re-soled. He wears them everyday on a flight line so they take a beating. His first pair had a long (about a week) break-in period, but his foot was not used to being in a heavy duty work boot. Once broken in, they were like walking on air. The foot bed conformed to his foot, there was enough room in the toe box so crowding wasn't a problem, and the ankle support was the right amount of stiffness to feel secure, but not hinder movement. The only problem he had when he wore out his old pair was finding the same style and size. He is a creature of habit that didn't want to fit a different style, this was his everyday work boot. The Ironbridge ST was exactly the same shoe, in his size and out of the box it fit like his old favorites.

100% PRIME TIME AWESOME BOOT! So Awesome that I ordered an extra pair so that I could thrash one pair and still have a sweet new looking pair to Rock if I didn't want to sport the battle scared ones. What I'm trying to say is this boot is as nice to look at as it is to wear. Super Comfort and minimal break in time. Extra thick padding and great overall support. I don't usually take the time to write these but since I read a bunch of these to help make my decision to actually buy them, I decided to pay it forward. If you need an awesome work boot. BUY THESE If you need a cool casual Black Boot to go with Black leather jacket. BUY THESE. Last pair of these was in High School, and Dr. Marten still got it! :)

These boots are really comfortable and well made. I am a size 5 and fit well, if slightly large which is better than too small. That said, they still gave me a blister on the heel of one foot the first day I wore them.

As a former police officer, part-time factory worker, and an Army Reservist on active duty, I have lived in boots for over 15 years. I bought these boots for motorcycle riding and ended up wearing them on my off days because they are that comfortable. Yes, they are heavy, but the ankle support and non-skid soles cannot be beat. The break-in period was less than a day and the textured finish helps to hide dirt. They do retain a lot of heat, but I love these boots and would definitely recommend them.

I love this style. Please produce more of this. I can't see it being sold anymore.

These were very heavy which made the muscles in my feet ache day after day. They hold up great though. I've abuse the hell out of them and they're still nearly in the same shape they started in.

Although the boots themselves fit my foot. The steeltoe cap can be fairly irritating to those who's toes don't lay completely flat. The steel cap can began to hurt after rubbing the knuckle of my second toe. So now I to wear either thicker socks or wrap it in medical tape to wear them. Otherwise they're good.

A real good fit and size and normal time getting used to a new pair of shoes.I have always chosen doc martens over any brand red wing and etc because they cater to a smaller width foot.

Fantastic fit, and durable... Only downfall is the boots are a bit on the heavy side.

Fit was true to size. Comfort was amazing: 8+ hours of extreme comfort....

They fit surprisingly more comfortably than I expected when I first put them on. None of that awkward break in feel. They aren't too heavy but you feel like you're wearing boots. I wear mine for about 10 hours a day and I don't feel fatigued at all by day's end. My only objection is that the ankle support could've been a bit better and the soul needs a tad more cushion. Overall I am very happy with the purchase and quality of the shoe..

Fit great first time I ordered footwear without trying them on first and was pleased on the venture. No problems and this was the only place I could find the style and it was a breeze.

They are to heavy.

Felt comfortable around the foot but I am worried about support around ankles.

These boots are a great buy. The only thing is they do have a little bit of weight to them but that's it I will definitely be adding these to my go to list thanks .

The boot was fine. The on-line product description said the boots had steel toes. The box in which the boots arrived, however, listed the toe as composite, non-steel toe.

Great looking by themselves but when I put them on my size 6 foot they looked hilarious! (Maybe my short stature had something to do with it too.) No doubt though, a sturdy, hardworking, comfy boot. Felt about 1/2 size big even with thick socks. Returning because 1) felt about 1/2 size larger than my size; 2) overwhelmed me; 3) don't really need that much boot, with steel toe for backyard landscaping/ gardening. They were a little expensive for me. Hard to find a good women's work boot in a lower price range.

These boots are great. It took me six pairs (thanks for your patience, Zappos) to find what I wanted, and these are it. These boots are comfortable enough that I actually WANT to put them on -- unlike every other pair of safety shoes I've ever had, where I wear them because I have to. The room inside is generous, but not so big they're uncomfortable. They look good, and so far seem to be wearing well. They may be a little bit warm at times, but not overwhelmingly hot.

They are kind of heavy. Other then weighing about 7lb each shoe they are pretty good

Great fit but doesn’t last long. Had them for almost a year and the sole practically fell off. Tried gorilla gluing it back but didn’t work.

The most uncomfortable pair of boots I’ve worn. The sole is extremely slippery and definitely does not feel like it’s air cushioned. Also, the leather is not very durable or waterproof and picks up dirt and nicks very easily. Even after 6 months of every day use and with superfeet insoles, my feet are killing me just a few hours into my shift. Doc’s customer service was good.

I love the look of the boot. They’re comfortable but to heavy to wear for a 7 hour shift. I was exhausted after wearing them by the end of the day.
