I love these! I have worn the Gizeh flip-flop for 30 years (I am on my third pair now) and in Florida winters with toe socks, to my children's horror and the Birkenstock 39 footbed fits me perfectly, my back and hips and knees are happier with this brand than any other. I thought to try a 40 in the clog because of winter socks but it did not work, the molded supports just did not fit right. So after debating to spend the money on a clog (now in Tennessee, winter still not too awful) that I will be in daily on my feet (I teach middle school) I am happy that I chose them. I expect they will give me as much service as I have become accustomed to from Birkenstock. Of course, with a wool sock, leggings and skirt, I look like an old Ukrainian woman but I do not care, I am comfortable!

These are the great Birkenstock shoes that I've have always loved. I really took a liking to the color online, and ordered a pair. But when they came and I opened the box- I did a double take. They looked black. Only when you take them out in the light can you actually see the green color come through. I'm sure with some wear the color would have worn through even more. But I returned them and reverted back to my favorite saddle brown.

Literally received two diff colors of shoe; one with visible signs of wear. The box was totally tattered and these have obviously been used. Biggest bummer, Zappos.

Plenty of reviews for this shoe, so I just want to make one point regarding fit. Those of us who are accustomed to Arizonas or other Birk sandals might find that Bostons don't provide as secure a fit, due to the absence of a front strap (which clearly cannot be incorporated in a closed-toe shoe). My solution: wear these with heavy socks. For me, this is a cold- and/or wet-weather shoe (otherwise you'll find me in Arizonas), so wearing thick wool socks is appropriate, and they confer a nice snug fit with Bostons. You should ignore my rating for style; I had to provide one in order to post, but style really isn't the point with this shoe!

44's no socks- perfect, with socks a tad small, 45 with socks - a tad large, no socks -too big. 44 footbed is the same as my Arizona Eva's. The leather is excellent.

Birkenstock are the most comfortable shoes I own. These Boston offer excellent arch support, are roomy in the toes and look really nice. The Habana leather is a nice rich brown. I’ve used a cream conditioner on them which darkened the leather a little bit and evened out the tone. This is my third pair of Birkenstock and will not be my last.

Comfy! My Birkenstock size is 37N, but took a 36R in the Bostons original footbed. The length is similar between the two sizes. I’m normally a 6.5-7 in most shoes. I wore them right out of the box. The oiled leather tobacco color goes well with my wardrobe. It has a worn aged look to it that I love! And Zappos shipping can’t be beat. Thank you!

I've had Birkenstock Boston's before, I like these just as much as The Originals, maybe more. Great price from Zappos, quick delivery. Still cheaper than I can buy it at a store.

As someone who suffers from PF and AT I decided to give these a try based on all the positive reviews. Initially I wasn't sure about them, but I stuck with them wearing a little more each day, and once they molded to my feet I never want to take them off. Can't believe I found shoes I like more than Dansko (which I've sworn by for years!)Going to buy a pair of sandals for the warm weather.

I love Birks and wear them every day - Boston clogs on work days in the office, and Arizona sandals through the weekend. Arch support is unlike any other shoe I've found. I rotate 5 pairs of these throughout the week. Takes just a few days to break them in; they can be stiff at first but before long, they seem to mold to your foot. Very consistent - once you find your size, every pair fits just like a glove. I have a wide foot and the "regular" width fits perfectly, i.e., they run a little wide.

This is the second pair of Birkenstocks that I have owned. My last pair were the Milano style sandals. They lasted 16 years. The only reason I threw them out was I got frustrated finding someone to repair the worn-out tread. I wear my Bostons around the house often, especially for cooking. They give me a lot of support when I'm standing at the stove or counter top. The Bostons keep my feet plenty warm with the appropriate socks even in the winter in Maryland. I also got some Dr. Martens Shoe Balsam after reading the product reviews and applied it to my new Birks. They look fantastic and it helps them repel the muck. If you have never worn Birkenstocks before, wear them gradually. It takes a couple of times before you get accustomed to the footbed. I ordered a women's size 11.5 by mistake. Zappos was terrific about the exchange.

Best shoe I ever wore and I'm hard to please. Your legs will be sore for 3-5 days but after that, they're unbeatable.

Very stiff and wooden cloggy to start, but that's how Birks roll! I'm certain they'll soften with age, and the footbed can't be beat. I wear a 8.5M, and had to buy the 7-7.5M here.

When shopping for birks, I have had trouble finding the size/style/color I want. No problem at all at zappos- and I got them delivered to my door the day after I ordered them. I loved the entire process and tell everyone I know about it! Thank you so much!

They're very cute and, the size in length is correct for me as a 6.5/7 and, once worn in I expect them to be comfortable. My history with Birkenstock is love/hate because I have a much narrower than average foot, extremely narrow, and there are no Birkenstocks that cater to that. BUT, I LOVE that these are NOT made in China!

I have some Arizonas, but I wanted these to wear with socks or when I need a pedicure. I love the way they feel but, The leather looks like two different shoes in this case. They also came scuffed on the top. One is dark red/brown and the other is brown. I got the habana. I’m on the fence to order another pair that might match better.

Ordered the Boston Clogs in oiled leather in my normal Birk size. They were way too wide, as in clown-shoe wide. The oiled leather Boston Clog is available only in "regular" width (aka wide) here in the US but are apparently offered in both widths in UK/EU? I didn't expect a problem though since other reviewers have reported a great fit in their normal size. So, I exchanged them for a full size smaller but they were also too wide (making me wonder if Zappos' Birks are legit, which would explain the ridiculous sizing). I kept the smaller size, cinching the strap as far as it would go, but even then there was still too much room especially at the top of my foot. I ended up gluing a moleskin pad underneath the leather there which helped fill in the space, giving my foot enough traction to not fall out with every step. I would love another pair of these clogs but don't want to deal with the poor fit. I prefer the oiled leather to suede (which IS offered in the narrow width) as it's more practical in wet and/or muddy conditions. I'd appreciate hearing others' experiencesw ith the Boston Clogs in "regular " width. Cheers!

I am very unhappy with my current situation with these birks. With my first order I accidentally ordered a smaller size (completely my fault) I returned them and got a larger size. The larger size was perfect except that they were stained. So naturally at this price I returned them and got a new pair. Or should I say “new pair” because I received the same shoe with the same stain, except they were filed down and pieces of the cork proves me right. The stain was still there but singled down to one particular darkening point unlike the larger one originally seen. The tobacco oiled color was nothing like it’s supposed to be. Since they were shaven down, the color was pale and look nothing like LEATHER, but in fact plastic.

I’m shocked and extremely disappointed. The shoes arrived without a box, without tags, and looked like someone had already worn or returned them. Is Zappos now reselling used items as new? I paid full price and expected a brand-new product, not something that feels secondhand. This completely undermines the trust I had in Zappos. I had to go through the hassle of contacting customer service, and while they gave me a coupon and accepted the return, it doesn’t make up for the disrespect and inconvenience. Totally unacceptable.

I love fhese shoes. I’ve long been a fan of Birkenstocks and wanted to get a pair of shoes that I could wear to work in a kitchen. Other than the Initial breaking in I’ve come to expect these shoes are perfect. I also love the texture of the leather. Super durable.

OMG, why haven't I bought these years ago?? I totally LIVE in Birks sandals all summer, but have never bought any of their closed toe shoes, until now. These are the most comfortable thing my feet have ever felt...right out of the box. I got the black. I usually wear a size 7 wide in other brands, but have always worn a 37 regular in Birks. These are no exception. The 37 is spot on. I even have room for a lighter weight sock. Now that I know how totally AWESOME these are, I think I need another pair in brown.

I ordered these clogs 8 years ago in the wrong size and never got around to getting the right size until yesterday. WOW what heaven for my feet! Gorgeous color leather (I think stone or sand). My plantar fasciitis feet thank you! goodbye 8 year old crocs

Excellent fit that you’d expect from Birkenstock’s but just a tad wide on a narrow foot. Luckily there’s adjustments on the buckle. The comfort on this particular style is sublime. It’s my first pair of the Boston Birk’s and I’m so happy that I finally pulled the trigger on these.

Got these for my husband who had finally worn out his previous pair after like 7 years. He loves them and the color is great. He works from home in the shop which has concrete floors and this is mainly where he wears them. He says they really help his back and legs. As always great service from Zappos!thx!
