Birks are meant to be roomy so that's why it feels a half size larger. This pair is the "classic" style that has that higher arch which I prefer over the new "comfort fit" which has a less high arch. You might need to drill an extra hole in the strap to tighten them as the leather stretches.

It’s a Birk, what’s not to like. Specifically bought these for the fall. Socks and Arizonas don’t do it for me. But these are gonna look great with a pair of jeans

This is my second pair of these shoes (in 11 years, they last!) They are so comfortable. I will buy them again when this pair wears out!

Came back for another pair of Boston's. Hard to find the original footbed anymore which is my favorite. Love their comfort and they seem to stop all sorts of foot pain.

Fit is just like all other birkenstocks. The regular fit my wide foot nicely in my normal size. Great shoes. The only thing not perfect is the leather on top is so stiff unlike many of the other clogs and irritates my toes a bit, and looks wise this type of leather scuffs so easily. I will probably keep, but if I purchased again I would make sure to get the suede in this shoe instead.

These fit perfectly for my normal European sizing.

The fit and size were spot on with these Birkenstock shoes. I wasn't sure what to expect, because I want to wear them in the fall, winter and spring with socks. Because they seem to run a bit wider than both pair of my Mayari, I'm glad I found them a bit wide. The leather and construction are superior, just what you might expect with Birkenstock. For reference, I wear a size 8 in Frye and ASICS, and wear a size 38 in all four pair of Birkenstock. I might also mention that this brand of shoes has saved me from imminent foot surgery. I was skeptical, but now, I'm a believer.

Had to send back the first pair because they were a full size larger than what I normally wear in that same size.

I was a little concerned when they did not come in their original box. Although, after careful review I could tell that they are original Birkenstocks made in Germany. They fit great and are super comfortable. My feet love them!

love Birkenstock insoles. clogs fit well. I did fall face first and damaged my shoulder but that was due to medication making me woozy. the clogs held up fine and protected my feet. got the maintenance kit and sprayed the suede so morning dew, freshly cut grass on the sidewalk and light sprinkles during errands don’t affect the suede or cork. I ordered a size larger since my feet expanded from zero balance footwear and age. the insoles feel great. took a week to start conforming to my feet. thinking on investing in the soft bed version in a different color. these will last close to forever as my Birkenstock Arizona sandals have so far. great buy super fast processing and shipping.

I have been looking for shoes to wear to work that have good support since I stand all day. I love my Birkenstock Arizona’s so decided to give these a try and I’m so glad I chose these. They are not pretty, but they feel great!!

This shoe, clog, mule, whatever, will absolutely destroy your feet until broken in, which in my case was app. 2 weeks of semi-regular wear. Once broken in, they are very comfortable, but the cork is fairly hard and aren't suited to miles of wear at any one time. I had a pair of these in the mid 90s, and they're still the same as they ever were... which is a good shoe for casual use.

The perfect fit…as is every time I purchase Birkenstock. Love the color. I will wear them year round!

True to Birks size. I've lived in these (along with a pair of Gizehs) for the past year. Worth the expense.

FIt like traditional Birks. A little stiff the first wearing or two, but not a big issue. Just wish they were “cuter”, but it’s probably impossible.

The fit and sizing is spot on. Very comfortable right out of the box. Very well made and high quality materials, these will last me many years.8

Finally these Birkenstocks were available...a little worried with not having Narrow available but was able to tighten the "buckle" and they fit well. Zappos delivered as stated packaged well, secure.

I have wide feet and I was encouraged to try the regular (medium) width after reading the reviews, but there wasn't a chance of pushing through the three week period needed for the footbed to conform to my feet. The ridges of the heel cup cut painfully into the edges of my heel making it virtually impossible to tolerate beyond 3-5 minutes. I'm bummed because I really need the arch support I know Birks can offer (I use their inserts in my other shoes). I wish they offered a wide width.
