These are perfect. Right out of the box, they're as comfortable as my 15 year old pair of Doc work boots. Buy these for sure.

I have been wearing Dr. Martins shoe for over ten years but this is first pair with the slip on style, these shoes fit well and are very comfortable.

Great shoe! I work in the automotive industry in an office and shop, needed something that was durable and looked professional. Went through allot and finally found it in this shoe. Liked it enough after a week that I ordered another pair to switch them out daily. Also these shoes are very breathable in hot weather compared to other leather shoes I have tried.

At first, I thought I would have to return these because they felt really tight. But by the end of the day they loosened up, and after a couple of days, they’re so comfortable I hate to take them off. Still, part of me wishes I had got them a size bigger, but then they probably would’ve been too big. I wish they had half sizes. Also the slip-on style takes some getting used to. If you like Docs but don’t want to go through the breaking in phase, best get a pair with laces.

This appears to be a well made shoe that I expect will last a long time. I like this style for work and weekends. It is sized extremely large, I had to go 2 sizes lower than typical. The fact that half sizes are not available complicated the process. I usually wear a 9.5 US and I ended up in the UK size that equates to a size 8 US. The size 8 is actually a bit snug and must be worn with thin socks, but I am hoping it will break in nicely after a few weeks.

I love this shoe, I just wish Doc sizing wasn't so tricky. As others stated, order a size down; though if you are normally a half size you may want to consider going down two Dr Martens sizes. I wear a 9.5 usually and got the 9; after some break-in, the tongue area, which was a bit uncomfortable and snug at first, really loosened up. The shoe is a bit too long for me now, and I think a size smaller may have worked...of course, a whole other size down may be just too small. That said, it stays on my foot just fine and is a very, very comfortable shoe that I wear all the time. Aside from being easy to get on/off, the sole on this thing is the best I've ever had on a dressier shoe. Great for walking on any surface or terrain, both in terms of traction and just overall feel. Awesome shoe, just keep the sizing thing in mind.

I loved these shoes until after 13 months the sole on the right shoe had degraded so badly beneath the balls of my feet that there was a hole where water could get through to my sock! Not cool.

I bought these shoes almost two years ago and liked the way they look and feel. I paid a little more than I would've liked but based on the brand I was expecting a pair of shoes that would hold up pretty well on about 4-5 days/week of average workplace wear and tear. Unfortunately, they didn't last any longer than other shoes I've had that were half the price. The outside of the shoes still looks good but the insoles are in bad shape, having worn completely through to the sole in a few places. A few months ago the right shoe's sole cracked and eventually got to the point where it lets water in if I step in even a tiny puddle. Now that we're in the cold/wet months I'm just going to have to put these in the trash. Won't buy again since I can get similar longevity with cheaper shoes.

I've had these shoes for a couple years and I've found them to be pretty comfortable. However, the soles on both shoes split 2" wide just below the balls of my feet after about a year of moderate use (desk job and short walks to the bus). Because of this they leak pretty badly and I can't recommend purchasing these. This is the second pair of Docs I've had with this same problem.

These were my favorite shoes ever for a year. Break in was fast, and they were incredibly comfortable. Style was perfect and went with everything, from jeans to suits. I've never been a fan of slip on shoes, but these were amazing. Then about a year of normal daily wear, I noticed one day after a rain that my socks were soaking wet. When looked closely at the sole, even though there was plenty of tread left, several cracks had developed under the ball of the foot. These cracks went all the way through the sole, thus letting any kind of water into the shoe. I emailed Dr Martens and never had any response. These shoes were almost good enough to order another pair, but I need to get more than one year out of leather shoes.

This is my second pair of this shoe. I love the style and they're comfy. However, I CANNOT recommend this shoe. With both pairs, the insole has worn out. The first pair I had had, the insole wore out after a year and a half, two years of wear. This latest pair had the insole wear out within a year. I *do* wear these every day to work, but I have a desk job that doesn't require much standing or walking at all, so it's not like they're getting punished on a daily basis. Outside of work, I'll wear them out occasionally in the fall or winter. (Just wanting to give an idea of how much I wear them and how little activity it takes for the insoles to begin falling apart.) I love the style, and I've found them to be very comfortable before they fall apart. But I was very surprised by how easily they wear out. Sure, I could get insole replacements (and I did do that for a while with my first pair) but now that the second has succumb to the same defect, I'm over it. I'd rather just find a higher quality pair of shoes that won't wear out within a year, and much to my chagrin it seems that Dr. Martens can't be considered quality shoes anymore. If you do decide to gamble on these, they will get larger with wear. I'm a 9.5, and I got a 10 for my first pair which fit well at first but became very loose in short order. The second time around I got a 9 instead. They were tight from the get go, but felt perfect after breaking them in... until they fell apart again. :(

Dr Martens are not what they were twenty years ago. I bought these shoes and noticed about a month later some of the stitching at the instep was not connected to the sole of the shoe, this created a gap large enough to fit a finger through. I contacted Dr Martens customer service and was promptly told this portion of the shoe is not covered under warranty and I was on my own. It wasn't stitching I tore out from wearing them, you can look at it and see it was never connected when the shoe was made. Upon inspecting the shoe further, you can tell the quality of the workmanship is poor. Needless to say, they fell apart shortly after. Disappointing.
