These shoes were a birthday gift for my teenage son. He has a narrow heel foot and most slip on shoes slide off. These shoes fit him beautifully!\r\nHe commented that they were like wearing slippers, which is great because he also has really flat feet! He can wear them with jeans or with slacks which make them very versatile!

I\'ve had Doc Marten shoes before, and these new shoes are no disappointment. They fit well and feel good on my arches as well as adding comfort when I walk. They\'re snug and do require a shoe horn, but that\'s a small price to pay for good looking shoes that fit well. I\'ve received complements on how nice they look from friends also. \r\n\r\n

Soft and comfy, look super too. Wear them every day to office. Only one issue with rubbing back of one heel until broken in.

As with all Docs, they're very comfy to walk and stand in, sole-wise. When I first put them on, the attached "tongue" was a little stiff at the opening, but after a few days of daily wear it conformed nicely to my foot. These look great with casual and business-casual wear and even a suit.

The shoes are very comfortable, fit well, and do not get too hot even when wearing them all day. They are lightweight. However, that is because the sole is not solid as it was On my previous Doc Martins. For this reason, I question their long term durability. I don't see lightweight as a positive, rather, I see it as a sign of cutting corners. That said, you will likely find this on all other comparable shoes at this price point, or at least I did when I was shopping. If they hold up over time, I would definitely buy them again. I have had them now for about 1.5 months and so far there is no visible sign of wear. The dread does hold mud if you walk on wet dirt, but it dries and falls out on its own in chunks which are easy to clean up. I imagine it will hold snow as well.

I hate socks and I hate shoes, so these slip-ons are great for me when the weather or the occasion won't let me get away with flip flops. Surprising comfortable without socks, but mostly leather inside so that so far there have been no odor problems. They look great for a casual shoe and are comfortable enough to wear while shooting baskets with the kids but obviously not for actually playing basketball; I wouldn't want to run around in these. I don't think anyone would confuse them with a dress shoe, but if I polished out the scuffs maybe I sneak by with them.

While I am a loyal Dr. Martens customer, these shoes just didn't cut it for me. The styling is okay (they'd look much more hip and stylish if they slimmed the toe box down just a bit), and the construction seems solid. These felt a half size too large and the sole (especially the heel) is nowhere near as cushy as other Docs I've owned.

A very comfortable shoe, but the upper is a bit less sturdy than I expected. Still, I do a lot of walking in this shoe, and my feet feel fine afterward. Overall, I\'m happy with them.

MADE IN VIETNAM...cheap labor, dont'cha know! These shoes are uncomfortable for wearing more than a few hours at a time. If I wear them all day, my feet and heels are sore by the end of the day! It's sad, because the Dr. Martens brand stands for comfort and quality. Soles and heels feel flat, hard, and unresponsive. I can't believe any reviewer could suggest there is anything even close to "arch support" in these; don't count on it. So, in the end, these shoes are built for fashion - not comfort - and really aren't worth the price tag. You will LOOK COOL, but your FEET WILL HURT!

One of the worst shoes I have gotten in my life. After a few months of heavy walking they started to cut open the back of my foot every time I wore them. I tried to fix them but it was a stitching problem; cannot wear anymore even for short trips. These have become very expensive house slippers. The sizing is off and does not fit well. Seems too high, and you move around a lot in them. Do your self a favor and get some better shoes. These are over priced, low quality junk.

I love Doc Martens. They are all I have worn in my business casual work environment for the last 8 years. In those 8 years, I think I've purchased 4 pairs of various slip on Docs. They last! They're comfortable! Highly recommend 'em! Sizing I typically buy a US size smaller than my running shoes. I wear 13/14 running shoe, ordered a 13 in this particular model.

The Orsons are nice. I expect a certain break-in period before they become very nice. The only negative I can speak to is the fact that the footbed can't be removed for the insertion of an arch support insole. I guess you could get the insole out if you really wanted to, but I didn't feel it was that necessary. I just slipped my support over the original. Since the shoes are roomy to start with, there was no problem. I now have more cushion and an overall better fit. All in all, a satisfactory purchase.

Fit was perfect, these got style! And since my feet are basically boxy the wide style fits my feet perfectly. They feel well-made and solid.

The shoes are great I have always in the past purchased them off Dr. Marten, they have discontinued them, So I purchased 4 pair off Zappos same price, but there customer service is really so much better then Dr. Martens was I will always buy my shoes off Zappos in the future. And Zappos have so many more types to choose from! GREAT COMPANY!

I'm a fan of these shoes. My first pair has lasted almost 3 years of nearly daily wear before showing any cracks or damage from wear and tear. They are a simple, versatile design and can be dressed up or down. They are comfortable and look nice for work.

Bought these for my husband, who has completely flat feet, is a teacher and stands all day. He loves them! Says they are comfortable and his feet don't hurt at the end of the day. They look good with his dress pants, so everyone is happy!

Standard Issue Doc Marten. Comfortable, and above all sturdy. This is the durable brand of loafer I've ever owned. Good for every day wear, business travel, etc. This is my second pair of Docs, the first pair lasted an amazing seven years, where Clarks and Rockports start to disintegrate after only 1 or 2. So far so good on this pair.

School shoes for my extremely rough-on-shoes teenaged boy. They are handsome, but most importantly they are teenaged-boy tough. Worth every dime.

Another gorgeous Dr. Martens slip-on style, perfectly replacing the Jethros that I loved and wore out over a decade's time, one pair black and the other brown. Orsons boast superior design and comfort, though of course their perfect construction troubles my 1969-vintage conscience. I hope the factory folks go home satisfied. In case anyone has not enjoyed the best of Zappos customer service, please take it from me, they make sure purchasers are happy. I will return to the site after another decade, when my two pairs of Dr. Martens Orsons may wear out at last.

My girlfriend and I traveled to Kyoto, Japan. We walked everywhere. The Orson made all the walking about completely comfortable and in style. These shoes are the most relaxing and comfortable shoe I have ever worn...and in Japan, where you take your shoes off constantly these Orson's made quick work of that...and the airport security is easier as well. When we returned I purchased another pair in brown.
