Overall, good shoe. Not crazy about the zipper, but Josef Seibel clogs are the best. I work for an airline and stand on my feet for long periods of time, and Josef Seibel is on my short list of go-to brands for work shoes.

I always wear size 8 8.5 or a 39 and these shoes run small very small and narrow. I could barely get my foot in them. I'm sending them back and I will try a 9 but I think my ankle will just rise out of it.

Loved this shoe, but I took the advice of the other reviewers. I normally wear an 8 or a 39 - I ordered the 39 and the 40 because the reviewers said "short toe box." The 39 was too short in the toes and the 40 was too big of a shoe. Sadly, I had to send them both back. I will keep looking. Love Zappos.

Beautiful leather, very well made shoe, but super-short in the toe box! Everything else fits perfectly, but not enough room for my toes. Since I'm already at the largest size I can't do anything to make these fit. Back they go, sadly.

I love the shoe. I have already ordered another pair in the brown. The arch support is excellent, but I did have to order the 41, which surprised me. I could not get my foot in the 40. I have a wide foot with a high arch.

I ordered these because I know Josef Seibel makes a quality shoe, but I had to send them back as they run a half size to small. Even though I ordered the next size up, I ordered the Jambu Cali at the same time and they won on the height and style for the shoe I am looking for. Sadly, the Josef Seibel Christina will have to go back. Thanks for your patience and customer service Zappos! You rule!

I generally wear a 7 or 7.5 -- in sandals sometimes a 6.5, but definitely needed a 8-8.5 in these shoes. I added a small cushion in the top of the shoe to prevent my toes from sliding and hitting the toe of the shoe -- and now they are very comfortable, both with socks and without.

Extremely narrow, I couldn\'t get the shoe on, and unfortunately they do no come in a wider width. I\'ve never had to wear a wide width, so I don\'t understand why these didn\'t work for me. I was disapointed they didn\'t fit.

My big toes are pointed up, so finding comfortable shoes for me is next to impossible. I didn't think that shoe shopping on the web was a good idea, but I am glad I took the dive. The shoes arrived today and they are perfect! Room for my big toes (yes!). Also, the small zipper on the inside looks promising if your feet occasionally swell. I did order half a size larger than my normal size based on a recommendation from another reviewer. Overall very comfortable, nice height, soft and pleasant to wear. Arch support can be a little better.

Wow! These shoes are great! Little pillows of comfy! The thing is that you really need to order 1 size larger. Other than that, these shoes are so soft and comfortable. Really is no need to break them in at all. I will most definitely buy these again!

Wow...these are so much cuter in person than they are in the pictures! They are also extremely comfortable right out of the box. The leather is so soft and supple, it\'s almost as in someone else broke them in for me. I was a little nervous about the height since I\'m already 5\'11 and don\'t find heels comfortable, but it honestly doesn\'t even feel like there\'s a heel on them. I wear a size 9 and ordered the size 40 and it\'s a perfect fit. I look forward to buying other shoes of this brand!

I just want to say these shoes are very comfortable and has a lot of support. I had a hard time finding something I could wear everyday. The quality of the shoe was worth spending a lot for them.

I wear 9.5. Size 40 seemed to be too small, and size 41 a little too big. I end up wearing 41, which is fine with thick socks.

These shoes felt at least a size too small. I wear a 9 and ordered a 40 which converts to 9 – 9 1/2 and I could hardly get my foot into it. Will try a larger size if available.

Great comfort - This shoe is very comfortable. If your foot tends to be wide and you have a high arch this shoe is really comfortable. I wear shoes without socks because my feet heat up and become incredibly itchy so I was leery of buying a closed shoe rather than a clog. In fact I wore this shoe for hours on end and actually forgot to even worry about my feet. I am very pleased with the shoe and the incredibly good Zappos customer service. I have never been let down. Thanks, Zappos!

Slipper shoe - I am soooo glad Zappos is finally selling Josef Seibel shoes. Ordered these in 39 and 40. Sending them back for a 41. I wear an 8 1/2 and the 40 felt tight across the top of my foot. Seibel shoes are just like wearing a fine house slipper. The leather they use is sooooo buttery. I am now wearing Dansko's and I would rather wear Seibel shoes any day of the week. Not really sure I will be able to put my Orthotics in the 41. Oh well. Love Joe Seibel, and thank you Zappos for a great business you run. I do not buy any of my shoes anymore at the Malls or any other web sites. Zappos is the BOMB. All in all this is a great fitting shoe, even if I may not be able to wear the 41's, maybe too big. Not real crazy about the zipper on the side, but I will take comfort over the zipper any time. They look great with jeans; they kind of look like you have a nice boot on. The shoe store that did sell Seibels stopped selling them. I would try them on at the store and come home and order them from Zappos. The price is the same at the store, but you get free ship/handling. Good deal

Josef Seibel's Christina - I think this is a great shoe if you are going to be on your feet a lot! I bought 1/2 size larger because I had tried them on at a store, so I knew what I needed. Good buy and classy looking.

Runs snugger than anticipated and takes a few times wearing it before it loosens up. Looks cuter than pictures show as the designs on it are not as evident from looking online. This model actually runs true to size whereas some other Josef Seibel products run a bit bigger.

I have high arches, and this shoe is too low to fit my feet. It does seem comfortable and well made. It felt rather small, but that is most likely due to the tight fit around my arches.

The shoe is a nice looking shoe. I don't know why it has a zipper, except, it is nice to have the extra "wiggle" room to slide my foot in. I have tried Danskos, but find them too bulky and chunky in the sole. This brand and this shoe, have the comfort of a Dansko, but not the bulkiness, which I like. They look professional and can be worn with slacks to work but can transition easily to a more casual look such as with jeans. I ordered one full size larger than I normally wear. My toe still hits the end of the shoe. Be prepared that they seem to run small.
