I've bought Josef Seibel's for a number of years. My favorite work shoe is the Tedra. I'm a nurse and on my feet for 12 hour tours. I've worn the same pair of Tedra for 4 years, but thought I needed a good replacement so I bought the Christina only because I can't find Tedra anywhere in my size (guess it's been discontinued). I do not like the Christina to work in. It has a different sole design which makes it unstable; my ankle turns and this worries me. I had to wear it unzipped until I broke them in; this caused me to lose my footing going down a flight of stairs while in a hurry. I won't bore you with my injury. It doesn't give all day support and my feet feel the difference. All in all, I won't recommend Christina for those who are on their feet for long periods, but they are good for casual wear and do look good. Wish I could get my hands on Tedra; I'd buy a lifetime supply.

I only buy Josef Seibel.

Christina is for comfort -
There is nothing as comfortable as a good Seibel shoe. Though Christina is no beauty, she is a solid walking shoe that stays on your feet when you're on rocky terrain and protects you when your dog takes off across a field after a rabbit.
I couldn't find the same Seibel I had for a long time (but I'm still wearing when nobody sees me), so I ordered this because it came close to the solid tough walking shoe that has taken me for many miles. The only thing I don't like is the zipper. That endangers my nylons when I kick off the high heels and head out for a walk. With socks, that zipper can also cause a problem. With tight fitting socks and a little caution the problem is solved. It's a great shoe! I just wouldn't recommend it for glamor if it's worn with a skirt.

Unfortunately, these shoes do not work if you have a high instep! They are very comfortable and would be great shoes, but not for my feet.

This shoe feels really small to me. I wear a 10 and ordered the 41 first and it felt like an 8 on my feet. I sent them back (thanks Zappos for the excellent service) and ordered a 42. My toes still touch the end of the shoe. I don't know if it's just me or the particular pair I received, but they do not feel true to size at all to me. They are pretty expensive to not fit perfectly. Looks good though; like the zipper.

These shoes were exactly what I was looking for - and they would've been perfect, but they run SO small that even ordering a full size larger than usual was not enough. I wear a 10. I ordered the 11 after reading other reviews; they were still so tight I could not wear them, both in length and in width. The left one I could barely even zip. It's too bad - if they offered them in a size 12 I'd get them!

Narrow and uncomfortable, not true to size. Very disappointing since they are so cute.

I am not fond of the height of the heel. I had thought it was a little lower. However, the comfort overtook the heel! I have problems with shoes, but this is very comfortable.

I bought these shoes just over a year ago. Within that time, the soles of both shoes split completely in half, just behind the ball of my feet. I didn't discover it until the rains came in winter and my feet were completely frozen and soaked. As you can imagine, it was very upsetting-- on a couple levels. I loved the shoes-- they were comfortable, fit really well, and looked good. But I did expect them to last for more than a year, especially considering that the soles themselves weren't terribly worn, even though I wore them often. I have many other pairs of shoes that I've owned much longer than that. I don't know if others have had my experience, but I won't be buying Josef Seibel shoes in the future-- which is a shame because I need comfort shoes for arch support.
