The Polo is great but when I fit into a LG in just about everything, and the LG size in these fits literally like a XXL, I found it odd. Very good material and very comfortable, just not made for broad shouldered and skinny guys. Also the sleeves are huge.

I was disappointed that the shirt ran large. I wear large in every other columbia shirt..

I am a Columbia fanatic, my entire wardrobe is Columbia. But this shirt didn't pass the test. I ordered a LG which is the size I've always worn in Columbia gear but this shirt is sized more like a 3x. Don't buy this shirt without trying it on first.

Ordered medium but shirt seems like a large. Shirt seems good quality.

Have three other shirts of this same "make & model". I would normally wear a large but the shirts I have are all mediums and fit well. Ordered new shirt in medium and it is much smaller than the previous shirts. I did notice that it is made in different country than my other shirts. Not thrilled.

I love the material and design but as a life long XL shirt wearer I found these XL's to be to big.

Size is XL but clearly fits as XXL, too big, lose!

I've been buying these shirts for years and the last 3 shirts I purchased were way too big. If you take a medium my suggestion is you buy a small. I now have 3 medium shirts that don't fit and it's too late to return.

I have a few of these polos, which I previously purchased from the outlet store. So, I assumed that I should order the same size I normally wear. When I received the shirt which was label as a medium I noticed that it was extremely big. I thought I purchased the relax fit, but it's actually the standard fit. The shirts are of great quality and functionality, however if you don't want to look like you're wearing your big brother's shirt buy two sizes. Also this company does not offer free returns, which they do state under their return policy. I would of thought a company of this magnitude would at least offer free returns. But, reading is fundamental. Lastly, if your preference is wearing baggy clothing then go true to size, if not go at least one size down.

I have been wearing Columbia's Perfect Cast Polo shirts for many years, and I own just about every color that they make. They used to be great shirts!!! However, I ordered two more shirts this past Christmas, and they ARE NOT THE SAME! The material is noticeably thinner and "cheaper" feeling. I don't know if Columbia has changed the production of these shirts temporarily or permanently, but I hope this poor quality isn't the future of Columbia products.

Personally, I wear a large in just about anything. However, this shirt is gigantic. Sleeves are long, armpit is very low (below chest), and midsection is made for a large person. Shirt looks great and made well; however, due to size I had to give it away.

its a way too big and lost

These shirts are terrible I have about 15 of the original ones made in Indonesia. They are now made in Vietnam and are to big and to heavy I wish i could return them!!

The medium was closer to an XL. The sizing on this is way off. I order two other shirts the same size and they are perfect fits. I could gain 50 lbs and this shirt would still be too big.

The fabric is very heavy, and it may as well be cotton. The size is ridiculously large!! I normally wear a medium, so I ordered a small. Yet, the small is still the size of an extra-large.

Runs Large. recommend to order 1 size smaller.

I bought this shirt in black originally. I was quite satisfied so I bought it online in blue. It was larger than the black shirt so I decided to wash and dry it hoping it would shrink to about the same the same size as the black one, after all they are the same shirt. No such luck. It did not shrink and I am now stuck with a shirt that swallows me whole. Next time I will not be so optimistic.

I bought some columbia products before, all is good. But this shirt give me bad experience. My height is 170cm, weight 81kg. I bought small size refer the size and fit guild, but Small size runs like a X-Large. esp, the shoulder and chest is too too too wide ( important matter must say three times again ). I cannot wear it. I am so disappointed at the results

I usually dress Medium, but by reading the comments on this shirt decided to buy it Small. And to be honest, a Small runs like a X-Large. The quality looks good, but now I cannot wear it because it is way too big.

I ordered an XL and when I put it on it fit like a rain poncho. The sleeves were at my wrists and the shirt tail was just above my knees. I my opinion its very unacceptable. I've always liked Columbia clothing but this has changed my opinion drastically. Maybe a chart stating the true sizing would be helpful.

The pros: Great color(White cap). Obviously the company does alot of R&D. The material keeps you cool. The cons: The size is ridiculously large. Summary: I understand that this is an outdoor company and the idea is that their clothing is used during the course of a certain activity but let's be honest the brand is worn and probably is sustained by people buying their clothing to wear at times other than during the course of the assigned activity. In this case, I am on the board of an outdoor conservation organization and we bought these shirts to distinguish ourselves as board members during our annual fundraiser. We ordered these shirts through our organization and had them embroidered which means no return or exchange. I ordered a size smaller than I usually wear in anticipation of the larger cut. When I received the shirt I found that I should have ordered two sizes smaller than my usualwhich would have been a small. I am 5'8" and 160 pounds, I haven't worn a small since I was 10-12 years old. For this reason alone, I am rating this product as Poor. I think that you can do all the R&D in the world but if a consumer has to order two sizes smaller than usual, you have missed the mark. Consumer Recommendations: Do buy this shirt as the brand is well recognized and the shirt has the potential to fit the bill of style and function. Don't buy this shirt onlineyou need to try it on first. If you do buy online make sure the return/exchange policy is rock solid as you will probably have to return/exchange it. Company Recommendations: Have a wider range of Product Testers. Put a product like this out to more "fashion" testers. Make sure they get the product in their usual size to ensure fit is close to desired.

Item was well made, but fit me very loose on the arms and chest area like a large would fit.
