Outstanding - The New Balance MW645 are great, comfortable, great looking and Zappos was awesome to deal with. A very informed intelligent woman took my order, I had them the next day, and they fit perfect.

Another Great Shoe From New Balance - These Shoes live up to the New Balance Standard of Quality. The fit and finish are Superb and as always they seem to just get better with every Shoe. I have over 20 pairs of Shoes and I will never buy anything but New Balance from now on. They are always consistent, every Shoe fits Perfect, every time and there is never a break in period. Thanks to Zappos I can always find all of the New Styles in stock.

Good Quality, Reasonable Price - This is an excellent "country walking" shoe that offers good support. It's not too stiff so you can use it for running short distances. It is very comfortable. The shoe "breathes" nicely which helps prevent your feet from getting hot and swelling. There's no need to spend more money for 749 and 965 models unless you live in a cold climate.

Great support and comfort - I do a lot of standing and walking on pavement for my job. This shoe provides more stability than the standard athletic shoe, very supportive, and comfortable. I have an orthotic that fits well in this shoe. I will order another pair to keep on hand when this one wears out.

Great delivery time, 2 days. Great shoe. Might be just a tad on the size, I wear a 10.5 and probably could have gone to an 11, but it is pretty close. Overall great shoe, light, good tread, laces, etc. Recommend for walkers.

It has moderate arch support but the sole is very supportive. It fits well and gives good forefoot and sole control.

Lightweight, snug and comfortable fit. They wear best with an additional support if there's a lot of standing and strolling (activities like shopping). Otherwise, I like the smart appearance and style.

First, Zappos knows what customer service is all about! A model for any business. I normally wear a D width in New Balance. However, this shoe runs narrow. I would order one width wider than normal for this shoe.

Very comfortable shoes. You never know with New Balance whether the 4E\'s are really as a wide as you need. These definitely are. Typical excellent Zappos customer service.

As the owner of a landscape nursery I have little time to shop for myself. I'm on my size 14 feet all day so I need a comfortable; rugged walking shoe with good arch support. I want a shoe I do not have to break in. The MW645 New Balance shoe met my needs right out of the box. As usual the shoe I ordered was on my porch less than two days after I ordered it. Zappos is my only source for shoes. If you have not ordered from them you should. My only complaint would be for New Balance. I wish they did not have to make their logo so prominent on their shoes.

These shoes are well built except for two strange things: The tongue of the left shoe is not as long as that of the right (which mostly is just odd for tying), and the front-toe-reinforcement-patch-thingy (the darker part that's sewn over the front of the toe box, made of cordura or something) is also not as wide on the left shoe as on the right-- so it doesn't come up over the toes as much as the right one does. I didn't notice this until after I'd worn them outside...Sadly, this might be the sight of a blow out in a few years, because this is where my big toenail hits on the inside. Other than that, the shoes are very supportive and comfortable, although on tricky terrain they wobble a little-- they're more "supportive" than "glued to my feet," which has been a nice feature of past hikers I've bought, even low ones (Merrells). I can't speak to arch support since mine are so high I have to put Superfeet in everything, but I think it's fair. If these had a wider (up and back over the top of the toe box) reinforcement-thingy on the front, they'd be close to perfect, though. And since I'm a perfectionist, I would not buy them again, unless they had that minor redesign.

I have big, wide feet, and these shoes are one of the few that fit me. I like the styling, and they are well made. I was wearing the 644s, and these fit just the same.

Good purchase. Overall I am pleased with my purchase of the MW645. The fit is just right and the shoe looks good. I must say that I did not think much of the inner sole which comes with the shoe. I replaced the one in my pair and found the shoes to feel much better. I do a lot of walking outside and have found that the outer sole of the shoe does fine on dry surfaces or on wet concrete; however, it seems to be a little slippery on some wet surfaces. Overall, a good purchase and worth the money spent.

New Balance MW645 - This shoe was comfortable right out of the box. Needed very little break-in time. I have noticed that New Balance sizes have shrunk over the past few years. The pair I had before these was a little small, so I ordered a half size larger this time and they feel fine.

New Balance MW645 - I cannot say I went crazy over these shoes right out of the box. I took other reviewers advice and ordered a half-size larger. The shoes were still a little tight. You might consider a full-size larger. It took about 20/30 miles of walking/hiking to break them in. Also, I discarded the factory inserts and bought new ones at a sports store. Much improvement! These shoes are better on a rocky trail than a hard, flat surface. I found them very stable and sure-footed on rough trails. They look good for sure, and feel good if you have the patience to break them in.

Nice, basic everyday shoe. This shoe goes well with my usual daily attire and feels comfortable enough to wear all day long.

A little shorter shoe - I really like the look of these shoes. I ordered size 10.5 and the length seems a tad shorter than other New Balance that I've had in the past. Overall a very nice comfy shoe.

New Balance walker - Provides good support and comfort for the price. Runs about a half size bigger than a comparable New Balance 608 or 609 shoe.

Good walking shoe - I haven't used my new sneakers a lot yet, but have worn them on a few trail hikes, and have found them comfortable and up to the task. They're quite attractive, and, once on and adjusted, very comfortable.

Great shoe!!! Goofy looking shoe but feels great...true to stated size and seems like they're going to be a very good value. I miss the Dunham line of outdoor shoes but this one is a pretty close replacement.

I walk 3 miles each day to work and was not expecting to have to break the shoes in. I got a blister on the small toe. They also do not have as much cushioning as the other New Balance shoes I have been wearing. After breaking these shoes in, they are working better, but I will not buy this model again. They felt like the right shoe put pressure on the outside of my right foot. No problem with the left shoe.

Narrow for a 4E - I bought these shoes based on the reviews that they fit a 4E width. I measure a men's 3E width on the Brannock measuring device on the right foot and a 2E on the left. I ordered the 4E width thinking that it would allow for some nice hiking socks. WRONG! Toes were so crowded that they overlapped. I'd say it fits more like a normal width shoe than a wide.
