I purchased these shoes for my husband and he loves them. He's on campus 4 days a week and does a lot of walking from his vehicle, to the train, to the campus, to the classrooms and other buildings, and back again. He probably walks 4-6 miles a day. He's says they're way more comfortable than his regular athletic shoes. I wasn't sure about the all gray color, but they're good looking shoes and they go well with jeans or casual wear. I would recommend these for long distance walking.

NB is one of few brands that have wide widths. Zappos had my size and variety to choose from--price was good, too! The shoe looks and feels good for this price range. Colors are not too dark and not too light- they look real good. Doubt if I would have found this shoe in my size in a regular store.

I like New Balance because I wear a 10 2E and their last fits me very well. I bought these and a pair of MW646 for walking, light hiking and golf. They are extremely comfortable, and very attractive. I highly recommend them.

This is a great shoe. It has all the features of a good cross-trainer/walking shoe with the added benefit of being a very universal color.

Zappos is the best place for shoes! Super fast shipping and great customer service. I got these for my boyfriend to use for work. He loves them and says they are very comfy.

As it is with most clothing, people that forget that their body is changing as they age, a great shoe can be a total failure if it is sized by the online customer based on their insistence that "I have worn a 9 and a half D since I was in high school." Well I am 61 and my feet have spread to the point that the EE I first ordered had to be replaced by EEEE's. And thankfully I did that. Walking around for two days in Sydney Australia in anything but EEEE New Balance MW645's would have been the equivalent of having been transported to that fair country as punishment. These shoes performed beautifully. And exchanging the EE's for the EEEE's was effortless. I submitted the return and the new shoes were shipped overnight. A good thing. We were about ready to set sail for the "antipodes." Thanks Zappos!

Great sneaker for work/standing. I purchased these specifically for work - the grey color fits much better with a work setting when wearing slacks. Furthermore, I often have to stand 4+hours at a time, and dress shoes or others would usually kill my feet/knees. These are very comfortable for standing!

A friend recommended these to me to ease the pain of plantar fasciitis, and they do not disappoint. Arch support is excellent and the small padding my foot doctor recommended removed the pain. My pair fit perfectly out of the box and I\'ve had compliments on their appearance. These shoes will not work with the suit and tie crowd, but otherwise the can go from the gym to the workplace.

After trying several pairs of shoes (free shipping, both ways!) I was happy to put on these awesome New Balance walking shoes. So light, I forget I have them on but very supportive and sturdy. I\'m a NB fan but their products seem to get better with age! Wish I did!

These are great shoes. Everyting advertised about them is true. They fit great, are very forgiving if you have bunions and\/or sore feet. I wear them to work and on the weekends. Will have to purchase another pair as these are becoming my fulltime shoe. You will not be disappointed.

I was wearing these shoes 24 hours after ordering them. Talk about fabulous customer service. Zappos makes me regret that I have but two feet to provide shoes for. As for the shoes, I'm a girl and they're man's shoes so it's hard to tell if they are true to size. However, I wear a woman's size 9 extra wide and am very comfortably wearing the man's size 8 1/2, 4E width in this shoe. A tad snug in the width for my 4 1/2 wide foot (including gigantic bunion), but not enough to be a problem. BTW, this model was made in China, which was a disappointing surprise to me because I try to avoid buying anything made in China and specifically chose New Balance because I thought they were manufactured in the USA. I called NB to ask about it and was told that the company manufactures only about 25% of its products domestically. Bummer.

This shoe was exactly the way I expected it to be. It is comfortable and worth the money. This is the only place I could find this shoe. I received the package exactly when they said it would come and the shoes were in excellent condition.

These things are great right out of the box. They fit my wide foot exactly as described.

As usual, Zappos delivers. Shoes are great and delivery was fast and free. I\'ve shopped Zappos over the years, never had a problem.

I used these for a week of biking and hiking and they were just the right stiffness and very lightweight. Perfect for the combined activities. I was originally concerned that they wouldn\'t be stiff enough for the biking, but with toe cages they performed very well.

Extremely comfortable shoes. My husband is quite picky about comfort and this shoe is great for all day or walking. Great support and yet fairly lightweight.

Overall, a very good hiking shoe. There is a very little bit of heel slippage, but it\'s not a big deal.

I wore this shoe on a recent trip to Namibia and performed well. Good comfortable recreation shoe with full support.

Shipping was super fast. The color of shoe resembles the picture exactly. The width of the shoe is perfect, however the length feels just a tad shorter than what I prefer.

Very comfortable walking shoe. Great look too. I usually wear a D width and am glad I ordered the extra wide EE width. A D width would have been too narrow.

These shoes fit and felt superb right out of the box. I\'ve been abusing them ever since, but they keep both their quality and fit since that time a year ago. Working overseas means a shoe for many different occasions, and I\'ve got about 6 pairs of NB treads (boots, casual business, running, etc.). Just got a notice from zappos that the shoe was still available, but my one-year old pair is like a wonderful old baseball glove now. Gotta love zappos!

This is my first pair of New Balance shoes. They are great, very comfortable and have great support for walking and running. They're made of the best quality all the way down to the shoe laces. I am very satisfied with the purchase. Zappos is a great company to order from. Initially I chose ground but Zappos emailed me the night of my purchase and said they were upgrading my shipping. The very next afternoon I received my shoes! I have ordered from Zappos before and I will again.

My son bought these for hiking\/everyday use. Likes the weight and comfort of them. Said they dried pretty fast.
