I usually wear a 7.5 (sometimes smaller in dress shoes, sometimes larger in athletic shoes). I ordered the size 37 and found them too small (my toes touched the end of the shoe. Other than that, the shoe was as expected and I've ordered a larger size.

They’re quite pretty, for a podiatrist-approved shoe. As with the clogs, my back loves these! I do wish there were just a bit more room for my bunions, but a bit of shoe-stretch helps there. I will be buying more styles of Dansko, given that I must relinquish my other street shoes, at least for everyday wear. My ratings all acknowledge that these are not as cute at my old stilettos nor quite as comfy as they could be, with more bunion room.

If you are used to wearing Dansko clogs, be aware that these have a different feel to them. They are great shoes, but don't have the extreme comfort level of the clogs. I did blister up a bit on the top of my foot for the first few wears. I would still recommend them, though!

Cute, comfortable - I buy Danksos because of the excellent arch support. These cute little shoes fit the bill, but I am between sizes. I'm usually an 8.5. I ordered these in a 39 and 40. The 39 was too tight (my toes touched the front) and the 40 was far too big. So sad! So it seems like this shoe may run a half size small. I ordered it in the medium brown color and in black - this style is much cuter in brown. In real life the brown is a little lighter than in the photos, but it's still a very nice shade. I can tell that these would require a break in period because where the toe box hits the top of the foot is stiff. It would be somewhat painful the first few weeks, but other reviewers have stated that the leather softens. Seems like I could have made this a staple in my shoe collection if only it had fit.

Dansko Sally - How I wish these had worked! I wear an 8.5 N (40 in the Dansko Professional Narrow, which I LOVE, and 40 in Dansko Margrete, which isn't narrow but the straps keep the Margrete on my feet). The Sally does run narrow, which would be great for my narrow feet, except the Sally also runs short as other reviewers have noted. (My toes touched the end in the 40 so I tried a 41, but that was too floppy on my feet). Also, the top is stiff and the edge dug into my feet as I walked. I love this style, but it just didn't work for me.

Strange sizing, but cute nonetheless - I'm traveling to Europe this summer and I needed a shoe (NOT my Birkenstocks...) that I could be seen wearing in Paris without standing out as an American. These shoes are actually a little less comfortable than I had expected the front toe part rubs on the side of my foot (and I have VERY narrow, flat feet, plus I ordered a half size up). They're very high quality I can tell that for sure. I would recommend ordering a size up. I normally wear a 7 (37) but had to order a 38 because my toes hit the end when I tried them on in a store. As usual, Zappos was the best. They expedited my shipping for free and I had no problems with them. DEFINITELY order from Zappos for this because the sizing is strange and on another site you'd have to pay for return shipping.

Good shoe, but a little hard at first - A lovely shoe, well made with a cozy sole. Painful at first though, until the leather loosens a little.

A really well-crafted shoe. They do run quite narrow, which for me was a thrill, because I have a narrow foot. They also run a bit short. My toe just grazed the inside end of this shoe, which I was not pleased with, though the effect was subtle. I ended up buying a 2-way shoe stretcher to try and elongate the shoe slightly. It helped a little, and I'm hoping they'll get roomier as I wear them more. Since they're only available in whole sizes, I think the next size up would be too swimmy. All in all, I like them enough to buy a second pair (in another color).

Function over Fashion - These shoes offer extraordinary comfort for those on their feet all day. Very little break-in time needed. The tan vegetable dyed leather is attractive, as is the stitching across the toe, but the tan rubber base has a greenish hue, giving the entire shoe an overtly orthopedic look. A darker, more chocolately colored base would improve the look of this shoe ten-fold. Because of the base to leather clash, I will never wear these with a skirt. They are, however, a back-saver for those walking upon concrete flooring for 12+ hours per day. Purchase these shoes because you need to ensure back and foot health--if you are buying them (the tan, at least) for fashion you will be sorely disappointed. Perhaps the black on black base would be a more attractive choice.

Pick up the kids from school shoes - Love Danskos in general. Glad they started to streamline the lines more. Now not as clunky.

So cute, but these run really short! Very cute shoe, nice and narrow for my narrow foot/ankle. BUT I went up from my usual 40 to size 41, and they are still really short. Other than that, I like the shoe, too bad it didn't fit! I'm afraid if I go up two sizes, to 42, the ankle will just be way too floppy. Not sure if I want to bother trying the next biggest size.

Very cute - I have two other pairs of Danskos and these are definitely the cutest. They are also much narrower than the clogs, so if you haven't been able to wear clogs you might try these. However, they do take some breaking-in, whereas the others did not...they are pretty stiff in the back and have given me a decent blister. Also, the arch does not seem quite as fantastic as the other two pairs I have, but it still way better than the arch in most other shoes I've worn. Overall, I am very happy with them.

Super cute shoes and really comfortable. But, withing a few wearings, the liner pulled up from beneath my toes. Glue will correct, but disappointing in an expensive shoe. I got the butterscotch color in an antique finish and they got dirty quickly. I was hoping for a cuter/warmer weather alternative to my ever-faithful Dansko clogs and am disappointed.

I loved that the heel is covered, so I can wear it even if due for a pedicure...but makes my (regular 7.5) foot looks a bit wide as it cuts the width mid-foot. Maybe I'm too sensitive to that, but it does 'cut' the foot where it touches and I think it would have bothered me at the end of the day.

I have two other pairs of Danskos that I love. I'd been eyeing these for a few months before I bought them, because they're so cute. The problem is they hurt the top of my feet. I can't wear them two days in a row, because my feet get so sore that my body feels exhausted. Also, they don't walk as smoothly as my other Danskos, and I sound like I'm wearing flippers as I walk down the hall. Cute, yes. Comfy, not as much as I'd like. Also, if you know your European size, go with that. If not, go a size up from what is indicated.

Bought these at a mall-based store, needed them right away. Pretty comfortable, but like all Danskos, they are wide. I kind of "clop" around when I'm walking which is a little annoying. I like the shoe, it could be a little narrower however. (Wear a size 41, 40 was too short in length for my right foot).

Cute shoes. However, after wearing them several times they still give me blisters on my little toes and cut into the top of my foot. I have high arches so this could be the problem.

I'm an optician which means on your feet sales job. I loved every minute of the 6 months I've worn them except that the black is coming off the toe on both shoes. Now it looks more like tan/brown peeking thru. I paid too much for a shoe (which I only wear to and from work) to have defects this early. I'm disappointed and sad...I should also mention I have an extremely high arched foot and I have yet to find anything as comfortable.
