These are AWESOME - I love these shoes! I've always loved the idea of Dansko shoes, but never bought any. I bought the brown ones which I liked a lot, but felt like the black ones would be a little more fancy. But you should know, these aren't particularly "evening shoes" although comfortable as anything. I'm planning on taking them to Europe the next time I travel!

A Dansko is a Dansko - The delightful fact of this Dansko that is unique to their previous similar styles is that the "Sally" is light in weight.(I bought 1 in brwn & 1 in blk- for trip.)It has great support and is cute w/jeans (LONG jeans mind you), or slacks, and casual skirts or jumpers. In reducing weight of shoe they have not sacrificed the stiff sole which for me is a necessity as I have big toe issues (arthritis-can't bend). I have a high arch, and rather thin feet and everything is comfortable-the vamp, and straps, toe box, and heel seat. I would say as typical for Dansko I would like to have more cushion like the Merrels have. (BUT my severe plantar fasciitis was significantly better having worn them all weekend.) Then we could treat ALL my issues!! They definitely aren't the best for fast walking around airports and cities like my MBTs. The Sally's give you a bit broader style choice.

Beautiful but small than others - I love this shoe but need a half size larger than normal in this one compared to other Danskos.

Cute and comfortable - I love the fit of these shoes. The width of my feet is average and these shoes fit perfectly. If you wear these shoes without socks as I do, you will need to give them a little bit of adjustment time to be completely comfortable.

This is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn, period. I have hard to fit feet, and plantar fasciitis in one heel. The first day I wore these shoes to work, I had zero pain in my heel. I know it sounds corny but it literally feels like you are walking on a pair of really supportive clouds. I will be ordering another pair in black. These are my first pair of Propet's. If they make all of their shoes like this one, I will definitely be trying different styles in the future.

Great Shoes! The shoes were exactly true to size. The insole is padded and very comfortable. The first time I wore them was all day at work. They were comfortable all day, I didn't need to break them in at all. They also look great. Not too casual, not too dressy. I get a lot of compliments on them. Look great with pants or dresses. I highly recommend these shoes!

Fantastic shoe - My brother gave me a pair of the regular Dansko clogs in black leather for Christmas one year saying, "Everyone needs a pair of clogs." I laughed at him, but I then proceeded to wear them every day for the past 4 years. I've walked short and long distances in them. They've even been to Antarctica with me. They've been scuffed, but they polish up beautifully. Now I'm in grad school in a warm climate. I decided it was time for a pair of shoes that could be defined more by their attractiveness rather than - but not sacrificing - their comfort. The Sally accomplishes this goal beautifully. These are some comfortable shoes. I wear these shoes every day, everywhere. They're sturdy while at the same time achieving a sexy, non-chunky look. And they have just enough heel.

Very comfortable, better than the clogs. I have mortons nueroma and the clogs are too hard on my feet now. These do not put pressure on the forefoot. They look great, too.

Perfect little shoe - I bought these shoes because I needed a shoe to wear with a skirt that was both semi-dressy and comfortable. I love mary jane styles, so when I saw Dansko with them I had to try them. I got lots of compliments on how cute they were. I wore them 8 hours the first day, my feet were tired after 8 hours but then again it was the first time I had worn them, and I am on my feet all day long. Great job Dansko! Try them girls, you'll love them!

Great shoe! I found this dansko clog to fit perfectly, I own 5 pairs of the professional clogs, so I was a little nervous when I read a review that Sally was more narrow than other dansko clogs. But, I didn't find that to be true. Love the style; I'm very excited to have a new dansko in my repertoire!

Great shoes! This is my first pair of Danskos and I love them! I'm often on my feet for hours at a time and they give great support. I have several pairs of Aerosoles that are very comfortable, but by the end of the day my feet ache. Not with these! I got several compliments on how cute they are the first day I wore them. I'm saving up for my next pair of Danskos.

Happy Feet!!! I own several pairs, styles of Danskos and while these do not have quite as much arch support as some styles, they more than compensate with footbed comfort. I have a narrow heel and the front of my foot is wide by comparison. I also need a deep toe box and high instep area. These shoes are really comfortable and I will most certainly buy them in another color.

They are perfect, my new favorite shoes - I had ordered and returned a previous pair of Dansko's because they just didn't fit. These were perfect from the first moment I put them on. Very comfortable and attractive.

Very cute - I loved the looks of these the first time I saw them... but having already unsuccessfully tried the Dansko Lotus, I was a little unsure of these… but I went ahead and tried them. The first day way was challenging to say the least. The second day was better. And after three days of wear, I loved them. The initial problem had to do with the place across the instep where the leather stopped and the side of my foot was hanging out. The leather seemed to dig into the side of my (admittedly wide) foot and hit a nerve. Pain. I worked through it because I generally love Danskos and believed they would work out once my feet toughened up in that area. Now I love them and receive lots of compliments. I wear them with skirts, dresses, jeans, and slacks. They are a tad more casual in real life than they appear online... but they are still nice and worth the price as they can be worn year 'round. I have them in black and might consider getting them in brown if they were still in stock.

I love these shoes! I get compliments every time I wear this shoe. I had read that they ran small but I ignored the postings and went ahead and ordered my correct size. Mistake, but not a big deal with Zappos easy return. The size variance may have to do with Euro sizing. They are comfy, have a soft sole and lightweight, but even the bigger size was a little tight when I first put them on. By the end of the day they were fine though – better than most. This was my first order with Zappos and I was impressed that I received my order next day as I live on the West Coast! Yes, I've heard of overnight shipping but hadn't expected it. Zappos surprised me. Thanks!

I *heart* Dansko - It's true, the Sally does run a bit narrow. This is my 3rd pair of Danskos, so I assumed a 39 would fit the same as the others, but this pair fits slightly different and is tight across in width. I'm worried about trying to break these in without blistering my feet, but they are very light and cute.

Great shoe - Dansko Sally is dressy yet casual and can be worn anywhere. Usually a dressy shoes cannot be worn all day into the evening, but the Sally, as well as my other Dansko shoes, can be worn from 6:00 a.m. until 11:00 at night. Soft and fashionable which is a rare mix. Zappos' service is also great as always. Really fast shipping. Thanks Zappos.

This must be a new line from Dansko. The same fantastic footbed that cannot be duplicated but it's significantly lighter than traditional Dansko stapled clogs. This shoe is really, really cute and just a great everyday shoe. The instep is a little snug, very slightly so. Otherwise I wish they'd make more styles with this new lighter sole. Runs true to Dansko sizing.

This shoe is very comfortable like my Dansko Marcelle's; however, they are not as durable as Marcelle. They are great for standing and wearing every day. I can wear Marcelle every day and they will last from 2 to 3 years. Sally did not last as long but highly recommended for comfort and style. I would buy them again. The next most durable shoe may be Aravon Mia. Thanks Zappos!

Overall, I am very pleased with the fit and look of this shoe. I am a very active stay at home mom, and these shoes are very comfortable for me to wear all day while chasing my 3 year old! The fit is different than other Dansko's I have with rocker bottom and they feel more snug on the foot. Great shoe!

Very cute, great arch support, but much, much too wide for my feet. Sadly, will be returning them.

I like this shoe. I have it in the chocolate Cabrio leather, and the size 39 is fine for my wide, sturdy, boxy size 8-8 1/2 feet with decently high arches. Plenty of room in the toe, the sole feels fine. The left is perfect, the right bites a little on the outside but that's my foot, not the shoe, and a little spot-stretching is helping that already. I think they look good: as with all Dansko's you are wearing a comfort shoe (which is a look, not just a quality) so this is nobody's Prada strappy heel, people. But in person it does not look like a character shoe, as I think it kind of does on the website. It's a different kind of shoe than the last Dansko pair I had in this general style, fancier and more detailed, also more streamlined and aimed at a less earthy consumer. If the craftsmanship is suffering since manufacturing has moved to China, I can't say. The leather does scuff and mark very easily. Personally I attribute that to the style the leather is fashioned into (the tanning of the leather?), the Cabrio look. It's not bullhide. But the reason I ordered these shoes is that I saw them on another young mom at the park, looking a bit scuffed and definitely lived in, and I thought it just added to their charm. I've always been hard on shoes so I appreciate a shoe that can improve it's look with wear and tear. I think this one does. So you all know what kind of viewpoint I'm speaking from: I'm 36, mother of one toddler so far, married, average height and weight, fit, and I like to look casual, modern, simple and I pay enough attention to the trends to look current, with a little hippie/earthy edge. I think the Sally shoe is very "me." (And I wear pretty socks with them!)

Based on price and other reviews, I thought that wearing these shoes would be like walking on clouds. It isn't. But they're comfortable enough considering I'm on my feet all day (I'm in retail). However, the biggest problem I had was that after about 9 months of wear, the elastic holding the buckle came unstitched (as one other reviewer noted). This annoys me, since they're not cheap shoes. I haven't had them fixed yet. But I did order a pair of Sanitas in the meantime. We'll see how those wear.

I purchased these shoes after buying the Dansko "Rachel" in black, and finding them to have excellent arch support. The "Sally" arrived quickly and in great condition. I noticed that the bed of these shoes is made of a suede material, rather than the smooth, wipeable material that is on the inside of my other Dansko shoes. I prefer the wipeable material, but oh well. Another observation is that there is a seam in the insole that hits right at a point on my foot where my heel falls - wish this seam could have fallen elsewhere. I like the somewhat open design of this shoe aesthetically, but you have to be careful when walking on uneven terrain that your foot doesn't slip out and roll in - this would be bad for your ankle! Now for the good points. I love the design of this shoe - much less clog-like and utilitarian than other Danskos. This shoe looks cute with pants or skirts. It gives me an inch or two of added height, but doesn't look clunky - great for keeping me up and out of mucky Boston slush in wintertime. I wear this shoe with trouser socks or tights, but it would also look great worn alone. I don't find the ankle strap and buckle to be too tight like other reviewers - I do have it on the next to last hole. Overall I'm happy with my purchase and wear these shoes often.

This is a cute shoe, but the bottom part looks very plastic-y and cheap. Also, the padded tag on the inside heel area is too prominent. I could feel the edges when I wore the shoe, and it wasn\\\'t comfortable. I think I\\\'m going with the Dansko Maeve sandal instead.
