This shoe is super cute and very comfortable. It is as adorable with jeans, slacks, or a skirt. I loved the fit so much that I purchased this style in chestnut brown as well as in black.

Wow! Another great shoe from Dansko! Since discovering the brand about three years ago, they are my shoe of choice for this hard working woman in retail. I normally wear a 7.5 (in a non-Dansko), and the 38 was the perfect choice in the Sally. This is consistent with the other 6 or so Danskos I've had. I confidently wore them to work all day the first day I had them, and I had only minor rubbing where the top of the shoe meets the top of my foot. The next day, I had no issues at all. As usual, my feet are not tired and my back is not sore by the end of the day as I continue to wear the Dansko Sally. This style is a little more petite compared to other Danskos I've worn (without sacrificing comfort), and I find it makes it a versatile shoe. I can easily wear Sally with knee-length skirts and skinny jeans. I hope that you like this shoe as much as I do.

What wonderful shoes!! I have severe plantar fasciitis and these shoes SAVED me during a recent job interview. I wore "comfortable" shoes for the plane trip and had terrible pain the next morning. Put the Danskos on, for the first wearing (!!), walked all day, did interviews, etc., and my feet were in better shape by the end of the day and the next morning, much less pain. Zappos service was ridiculously fast and polite. The shoes are attractive, not clunky. I later wore them to a wedding and dancing! What a difference! I will definitely buy more of these shoes. They are worth the price!

Love this shoe! Have always been a fan of Dansko shoes for their comfort but have found them lacking somewhat in style. Sally is cute! Also very light on the feet, unlike Dansko clogs, which can sometimes be a little clunky. Very well made. Cushiony foot bed. Runs true to size. Although the heel is not high, Sally looks great with skirts and adds illusion of length to the leg. So far have worn them to work and to a formal function- quite appropriate for both situations- and no painful feet or fear of twisted ankles as usually experienced with shoes that look well with formal wear. At first did not think that I would like the slightly turned up toe and the seam down the middle of the toe box, but both details are really cute with the shoe on the foot. I highly recommend Sally! And as always, I highly recommend Zappos- I buy a lot of shoes, almost always from Zappos, and have never been disappointed by the product or the service.

What a very comfortable shoe! Not surprising since it's Dansko but I find it a little softer than Mae or Lolita, for example. This is yet another style that is perfectly comfortable right out of the box. The light tan is exactly the color I needed, but it does scuff very easily on the toe so I will need to be a bit more careful with these. Other colors of this style are definitely in my future!

This was my first order from Zappos and I was pleased with how promptly they arrived and how securely packed they were. I love these shoes, partly because of how comfortable they are and partly because they can be worn with everything from a skirt to jeans. The only problem I have is that the part of the shoe over the top of the foot is a little sharp, but I've had this problem with other Dansko shoes and it is just a matter of breaking them in and then they are comfy. Danskos are well made and substantial feeling on the foot. If you dislike knowing you have a shoe on your foot, you might be put off by the brand. But if you like a nice, substantial feeling in a shoe, these will fill the bill. Overall, I am very satisfied with my third pair of Danskos!

These shoes are the best - ever! Very comfortable to walk in. Great color, they match with almost everything. I hope Dansko never stops making this style.

This is my first pair of Danskos and after much deliberation, I decided to go with the Sally over the traditional clogs. I have a horrible bunion, while not huge, has become really painful in most shoes I currently own, so I needed new shoes that are stylish AND super comfortable. I’ve only worn these for a day, but usually my bunion would be throbbing with pain in other shoes after half an hour. My feet feel pretty good after 5 hours with a lot of walking and standing involved! It is thrilling!!! The arch support is great, especially since I have a really high arch and I can’t put my orthotics in with the Mary Jane style. The lining feels nice and padded. My heels haven’t hurt from pressure like they do in other shoes. The only minor issue is that the back of the shoes are rubbing at the Achilles area, but not enough for a bandage - I might need to just tighten the top strap. The other issue is that these are expensive, but worth every penny if I can wear them for hours at a time and not be in pain. I think the Sally will be my go-to pair of shoes for the summer, they look really cute with jeans/pants, capris, and skirts... and they keep my terrible bunion happy! I usually take a 7 shoe and bought a 37 in these - they are perfect for me (the 38 were too big and rubbed), but someone with a larger 7-7.5 foot may want to try the 38.

Since having ACl reconstruction surgery a few years back, I rarely wear anything other than Danskos. These are comfortable and cute enough for work with skirts/dresses. I do agree with other reviewers that they are bit shorter than usual. My big toe hits just a bit, but not enough to go up a size. Might be a problem for others though...

After hearing so many great things about Danskos I decided to give them a try. I shopped the local stores with no luck and turned to Zappos for more selection. I chose the Sally because it has a dressier look for professional work attire. The first day I thought I would be sitting a lot; however, the day turned out differently and I was on my feet for a total of 15 hours in my NEW shoes. I couldn't believe there were no problems. They didn't rub and make my feet hurt at all. I love them so much I wore them the next day too. Still total comfort! I did however need to order a size larger than I normally wear after reading the reviews and taking your advice. They fit perfect! Thank you!

Dansko Sally is the answer to a prayer for me. I have trouble with a neuroma, and the support they give, with room in the toe box it’s perfect. The ankle strap keeps my feet securely in place. This shoe gives me some added height, but doesn't put pressure on the ball of my foot. I have two pair and have just ordered a third. I am on my feet all day long, and these shoes keep my problem feet happy. Plus they are stylish! Who could ask for more!

I just purchased the Dansko Sally and I LOVE these shoes! I normally wear a 38 in the Dansko Professional, and ordered the Sally in a 38, as well. However, it was too small for me. I ordered the 39 Dansko, Zappos overnighted them to me (free of charge), and they fit perfectly. It was easy to print out a return label for the 38s. I'm so pleased with these shoes!

Yes, you can put them on without unbuckling! There is elastic under the hook side of the buckle like on most Dansko Mary Jane's.
