I use these as an indoor winter slipper with occasional/brief outdoor use. The slipper provides a new balance of both: secure fit versus ease of removal; and also comfort versus wet surface capability. Pros: Although, a 2-3' shoehorn makes them easier to put on, hands-free is possible if careful. Using hands, it's easiest to use a thumb and finger only. Using two hands is actually more difficult for me. It is not possible to kick them off like scuffs or slides -- might be a con for others. I think this is the only slipper I've ever had with arch support. The suede upper keeps it comfortable enough to wear all night at home. When your jeans hang just over the the ankle cutout, the design looks more like a hiking shoe than a slipper. It's a feature I personally prefer -- might be another con for others. The outsole. It provides just enough protection to walk to the mailbox when the driveway is wet (not raining). The lining is warm enough for indoor use during winters below 32. Cons: The fit length is way too short. Had to order 1 full size larger.The outsole might be extra difficult to clean if I ever step in gum, but I'm willing to take that chance because of their grip on slippery surfaces.

My first experience with Sorel. Super comfy & warm, Easier to walk in than my Uggs, though too much like a slipper to really wear in public. They do run a bit small so if you're a 1/2 size like I am, go to the next largest. And Zappos service is awesome as usual: ordered at 4:15 on a Mon afternoon & these arrived the nest day.

These are the best slippers! I would order them again, and again, and again. Wish I could wear them to work!

Very comfortable and warm. I wear them around the house all the time, and outside to get the mail, etc.

Originally got these, but they were larger than expected, so I put in an order for another brand because they were all out of the next size down in these. Upon receiving my other slippers, I realized that they were not as comfortable, nor as warm, so exchanged them for the correct size in the Manawan. Could not be happier with Zappos service and the slippers. Nice and warm, look great. I found them to run a little large, so take that into account.

True to size, without socks for those who like to wear them with slippers. Very warm. Good padding and floor gripping.

Bought these to replace a Land's End pair I had. These are great warm, comfy, and I like the style. So far so good.

My husband loves these warm and comfortable slippers and they fit his 14M size feet perfectly.

I am very pleased with the service and product that I get from Zappos. When I see a product that I like, I always check at Zappos, because it is always a better price and the quality is very good.

got this slipper for my dad for his birthday. My dad wears a 12 for sneakers and an 11 - 11½ for dress shoes. I got him an 11 and it fit perfectly, so it worked out for me, but they might run just a little large. Anyways, they look sweet, seem really comfortable, and also appear to be very durable. The crepe-like out sole looks durable and able to be used outside. I think that these things could be easily worn to the office under a pair of khakis, or worn in town under jeans. My only qualm is that the fluffy interior does not seem quite as plush/soft as an Uggs, but hey for so much less, these win in my opinion.

I bought these for my 18 year old son. We shopped together on line and he saw them and said "Awesome"! We received them and on a weekend home from school I gave them to him...instant favorites! He loves them and now my shopping for the rest of my family for XMAS just got that much easier.

These slippers are totally comfortable and warm. I love them. Make sure you go up one size when ordering. They run small. Well made and sturdy enough to take out the garbage, get the mail/paper, etc., but still comfy as slippers.

So here is the deal... I absolutely love these shoes. I wear them everywhere and have no problem at all, with solid construction and a nice solid sole I never have any worries. If you have ever worn Sorels before you know they run big so for me wearing a size 10.5-11 I ordered the size 10 they are perfect with socks and snug. One thing... know that these are warm as hell, and not for cool weather. I live on the second floor of an older building with poor heating so these bad boys are a must. Best thing about 'em is you don't have to change shoes to grab a sixer at the beer store!

Very nice, warm, and comfortable slippers. They seem to run a bit small so I might suggest accounting for that aspect if you decide to order.

Zappos delivered my Manawana's last Fall right before the first snowfall. They immediately became my cold weather footwear of choice around the house. I prefer to wear socks, so I bought a half size bigger due to the lining. Perfect. The higher cut keeps my ankles covered and the soles do not load up with snow on quick trips outside. No arch support, but hey, they're slippers! Nice slippers, great service. Thanks, Zappos.

My wife bought these for me and I wear them every day now. They felt a little tight when I first got them but adjusted to fit me perfectly within two days. They\'re super comfy, and they don\'t pinch off my feet when I sit down the way all my previous heeled slippers have.

Zappos has been great! I have been trying to find the perfect slipper for my elderly father. He is just barely able to walk and he needed an indoor, fuzzy, warm, shoe with good support and floor gripping ability. Well, it took three tries to satisfy him, but Zappos was quick, and accurate with the two returns I made. There was no cost for shipping, or returning. When Grandpas happy, I’m happy!

I purchased these for my boyfriend for Christmas and he loves them! Very comfortable and durable. I also was very impressed with the ship time - I ordered them for regular mail delivery and they showed up within 24 hours!

These are very comfortable and warm. They are well-made, with just the right amount of support. It is nice that they come in black also. I've received numerous positive comments and would highly recommend them.

I love the slipper -- very cushy and comfortable, with a nice crepe sole that should grip well for winter morning walks to get the newspaper. But it runs quite small. Have had to move up two sizes to get a good fit. The soft pile may compress somewhat after a lot of wear, but that's okay, it's a slipper.
