These might literally be the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. My left foot is half a size larger than my right. I bought them to fit the smaller foot, then wore them for about 20 min. with a small running sock on the larger foot. They "gave" just enough and now are perfect. Stylish without a spiked heel, comfortable enough to wear all day!

These shoes are amazing! I normally am a size 6 but basing from other reviews, I bought a size 5.5. They felt tight the first 3-5 times of wearing it but it eventually stretch to what feels like a normal size 6 now. The heel height is perfect for walking around all day, very classy looking and the pointed toe adds a perfect feminine touch to it. I highly recommend these shoes, they are comfortable and perfect with slacks or dresses. I just wished they made them in different colors.

Perfect compromise between heels and flats: cute, professional, and easy to walk around in. I could go for a little more arch support. Otherwise- so happy!

Love this shoe. I have wide feet and a bunion and these are true to size and very comfortable. My only disappointment is that the back of the shoe is patent leather -- and while a stylish detail -- it got scraped first time out from my driving while wearing. Bummer.

I bought these for a long trip. There was absolutly no break-in period. Although I did buy a half size larger, which I normally do with Joan & David. Very comforable and easy to care for.

I love the fit of these shoes but they do turn the tip of my toes black. I'll keep them for the fit and comfort.

I just ordered my second pair. I'm 36 and while I try for fashion, my feet are too picky for most cute shoes. I also run around all day for my job so I need something that won't have my dogs barking within 2 hrs in. With these shoes, I can stand or walk in these without them slipping or pinching and they look equally good with my work trousers, skinny jeans, skirts, etc. These are not high style but they're not low either. Versatile and comfy. If you can't wear platforms & stilettos but you don't want your footwear to say, "I give up", give these a try.

This is a GREAT, basic shoe. Extremely comfortable. The toe is slightly pointed, which gives it a more defined professional look. This is one of my go-to shoes!

These are comfortable but are slippery. The bottom has a felt like material instead of a rubber material to keep you from slipping. Very cute and basic.

These are incredibly comfortable, they work really well for travel and lots of walking. The pointed toe is flattering and makes the shoes work with either skirts or pants. They are relatively reasonably priced. Oddly after all these great things to say I am not keeping them since I already have a pair of wedges in suede that are very similar. I wish that I could toss them out and replace them with these.

This is a very 'Taryn Rose' type shoe with a low wedge heel, rubber, and matte microfiber upper with a slight stretch. Very comfortable.

Toe box much too short and narrow, going back. Sole was slippery. Styling was cute.

These are the absolute best black heels that I have ever bought. I am a hairstylist and am on my feet all day. It is hard to find heeled black shoes that are comfortable and still cute. These shoes have a natural stretch and are extremely comfortable! I can work a 10-12 hour booked solid day and my feet still feel great at the end of my shift. I love them so much that I bought another pair for when these wear out. If you want comfort and style this is it. I wear between a 9 and 9½ size. I bought a 9½ and they fit perfectly. They are a little slippery on the bottom and also have a felt pad that collects hair. But the benefits by far outweigh any con.

I like the look of the these shoes and especially the price. I ordered a size 9 and the back slipped off. I stand and walk a lot for my job and I need my shoes to be really comfortable. Also, I am required to wear black enclosed shoes so my choice is limited in comfort and price. I am returning now, and would have ordered 8½ but you do not have that size. Over the weekend I found my size at Macys, bought them and wore them yesterday. The back is still slipping slightly but I put a pad in them so hopefully that will help. The toe area is snug but should be all right after I break them in. They are also slightly slippery to walk on like others have posted. I love Zappos anyway.

I love these shoes! My size was not available so I ordered half a size smaller just in case it might fit. It did not. If it becomes available I will jump on it.

I absolutely love these shoes! They are so gracefully shaped and classic looking. They have the comfort and feel of a flat, but are so much more graceful and elongating. The stretchy fabric allows the shoe to conform to the foot and fit snugly without being tight in any way. I appreciate that they came in a wide width. If they came in other colors, I would purchase one of each. I love these shoes!

Shoe fit well but it's goes up to high on the dorsal which then makes the shoe less fashionalble.

Very cute style. Like a skimmer flat, but with a little heel it elongates the leg. Good for a dress, skirt, capris, or pants. Very versatile style. A little pinchy in the toes when worn for a long time, but otherwise very comfortable. I would definitely recommend these.

I am 72 and have terrible feet with hammer toes and bunions. I had resigned myself to wearing my NB sneakers to every event and looking like an old lady. I took a chance on these shoes and amazingly they fit well and are comfortable. The slight wedge looks dressy and I am off to a wedding at the end if the month with happy, stylish feet. My sister with equally bad feet loves the pair she got from Zappos. Too bad there are no other colors.

I love these shoes. They fit perfectly and are so comfortable. I have arthritis in my feet and cannot wear heels. These shoes give the illusion that I'm wearing shoes with a higher heel and look much dressier than flats.

Look amazing, but way too long for me. About two inches behind my heel, and too narrow. Since I ordered wide, I'd say this shoe runs pretty narrow. So reluctant to send these back, but there's no way I can wear them.

These shoes are elegant enough to wear with either jeans or dressy slax. They are so comfortable and so classy, I bought a second pair.

I recently had to change shoe size from a 6m to a 7N due to a problem with my feet. Since narrow width shoes are almost impossible to find in a retail store I went online to Zappos and was very surprised at the selection available. I ordered the Circa Joan & David Yavin because I'm a big "Joan and David" fan. They look classy, fit great, and are comfortable to have on all day. I've received many compliments on the style and quality. Also, my podiatrist said it was an excellent choice. I just wish I could also get it in brown.
