Great, comfortable walk-around shoe. Like the wedge look and height and the fabric is high quality so can be easily worn casually with pants but also as a low-heeled shoe with a dress or skirt. Sole was surprisingly slippery when first worn indoors on wood floors but has improved. Perfect 'go-to' shoe in my closet.

Shoes, like clothing, are so subjective. Being a AA foot with more of a AAA heel, shoes that fit properly with comfort are hard to come by. The shoes that work best are AAs with open backs. However, this pair happens to be quite comfortable; I glued gel inserts onto the inside back of the heels, and they stay on my feet, plus I don't notice them -- which means they're comfortable!

This is what I call a Goldilocks" shoe: 9 was too tight; 9 1/2 is too big. I'm going to try something new: heel inserts. If those, plus probably a thin insole added, do not work, I will sadly have to return. Lots of fish/shoes in the sea!

My usual 9M is too tight, so not sure where the reviews saying this runs large, or true to size, are coming from. But like them enough to re-order in 9 1/2. Pointier toe than I'd prefer for being on my feet, but like them better for a skirt than simple ballet flats, which can look dowdy and awkward, IMO. Will re-review when the 9.5's come which, with Zappos fab service, will be soon!

I had bought this pair and loved them so much that I bought a "back up" pair. When the first pair wore out from use, I busted out the "new" pair. To my dismay, the new pair had a FELT bottom rather than the rubber bottom that made these shoes so practical. Not only was it disappointing it made the footing slippery and dangerous to wear.

Love the shoes but run large. I bought my normal size and had to add padding on the inside heels and sole to keep them from slipping off.

The style of this shoe is okay, not my favorite. I bought them to wear for work, felt a narrow in the front and the leather back is something you have to break in. It cause blisters in the beginning but now I'm used to it. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with this pair of shoes.

I wear a 9.5 narrow to slim and have an extremely high arch. Very cute shoe, it just wasn't comfortable on my foot. My arch was level with the side of the shoe and it was a little wide on my foot. I could pad it up and make it fit, but not incline to do that knowing that shoes stretch after wearing anyway. This would have been perfect in a slim.

Unfortunately this shoe has begun to "squeak" and "click" when I wear it. I've tried powder which has not worked. I recently took it to the shoe repair shop where I learned that because the sole is glued and made of a rubber-like material, there is no way to repair these defects. I would not suggest this particular style even though it is a good looking shoe and pretty comfortable, there is the possibility of the same issues I've encountered.

Comfortable and cute, quiet and non-slip. The first time I wore these, it was for 10 hours and I was on my feet almost the whole time. These were totally comfortable. (I did wear tights.)

I bought this shoe with the hopes that it would be my walking shoe while traveling in Paris. Unfortunately, although comfortable, I don't believe I can last 8 hours of walking without having aching feet. They are great for work, looking quite nice with slacks and even a skirt. They are comfortable, just not enough support for all day walking.

These shoes are not my favorite but are great on days when I don't feel like wearing heels. I am a heel person mostly. I had to send the first pair back and get a 1/2 size smaller because they run big. They are also slippery on the bottom but a pair of Foot Petals Sole Stopperz worked perfectly.

Great shoes, really comfortable. The fabric really gives and conforms to your foot, I wore them to a long work function their first day out of the box and my feet felt great. Others mentioned they make your feet sweaty, and that's common with shoes made with this fabric. I'd suggest Dr. Scholl's foot spray.

I travel often for work so I was looking for a shoe that could go from casual airport to dressy business. These shoes are awesome. They were comfortable right out of the box. The fabric is great and I love the wedge detailing.

These are great. The fabric and toe shape are very professional looking (although I do not understand the style reasoning of the patent leather back - but no one really sees it under pants anyway). I would caution that these run a little bigger than average; I am usually a 10½, but in these I needed a 10.

These are one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever had. They also look good with almost anything and are very stylish.

I'm all about comfortable yet stylish shoes, and these fit the bill perfectly. I wore them for three days straight at a new job, and they were very comfortable.

These are my favorite work shoes. I stand for 8 hrs a day. Banking. They may seem a little pricey but well worth it. Ordered on Sunday. Shoes arrived on Tuesday.I didn't even request express shipping. Zappos is the best!

I've been searching for a comfortable, classic black pump for a long time. I have pain in the joints at the base of my big toe. I started looking at flats, but found most of them cut into the same sore spot. I had been searching only for leather shoes, but decided to try this shoe as a last effort. The shoe is comfortable, and looks good with skirts and slacks, and the patent accent at the heel makes it dressy enough to wear with a dress as well. I am concerned about how the fabric will hold up so I'm careful not to wear them outside in rainy or snowy weather.

Bought a pair for the wife. She likes them very much. Had to break them in a little, but overall very satisfied.

I have very narrow feet and ordered the size I use for Trotters. The shoe was a narrow width, and it was huge. I walked right out of it.

These shoes are surprisingly comfortable for heels, especially given that they are cloth shoes rather than leather. They looked good with my semi-formal dress on New Years, although the soles are a little slick for dancing. They also are a good shoe to wear with a black dress for funerals.
