I went to a specialized running store where they make you run around and tell you what type of shoe fits your stride. I do a lot of walking around DC and just started daily exercise, so I was looking for a very comfortable shoe. I have plantar fasciitis, so it was important for me to get good arch support. I've been wearing these shoes for a week and have noticed a major difference. My feet overpronate, so I needed shoes that would correct this problem. This requires buying shoes that have a harder material on the inside of the midsole (the thick hard foam part of the running shoe). With this, the inside of the shoe will compress less under my weight and support the inside of my foot, preventing it from rolling in or flattening. I did add my own orthotics, but I did try the insoles that came with these shoes, and if I didn't have plantar fasciitis, I'd say they would have been just fine. So far, I really like the pair I got so much, that I'm going to order another pair from Zappos as soon as my size is available.

Saucony Omni - Absolutely wonderful shoe! I went up 1/2 sz b/c of summer heat & this fits perfectly. Removed every single discomfort & blister from my normal size. Perfect fit for slight pronation, high arch & very wide foot. I've been buying Saucony for years & now know I just needed a bigger fit.

Great stability running shoe - I have worn this line of shoes for the last several years and seems to be no major changes. I put them on and ran 6 miles and felt so good ran another 6 miles right after. Great shoe...12 miles first run without any problems. I wear a 6.5 but usually get a 7 in these.

Wonderful shoes! I put these shoes on the day after I got them and wore them all day at school while teaching, then wore them while following my son during his golf tournament. That was a full 18 holes of golf, up and down hills. I absolutely love them! I was slightly concerned about the toe piece, as others had mentioned that these rubbed their toes. I have had NO trouble with this issue at all. I too have plantar fasciitis, and these shoes help to support my feet, relieving some of that discomfort. I will get these shoes again when these wear out. Since I am on my feet on a daily basis during the school year, I know that I can trust them to be comfortable and supportive I did order a half size larger than I usually wear, and that size is great!

Omni 7 Moderate W - This is a great stability shoe; comfortable and cushioning. However, the tongue on my R shoe ends up on the side of my foot after a mile or so. Nuisance to keep pulling back out.

Love these shoes. They’re comfortable & have plenty of room. I'm an over pronator and have problems with plantar fasciitis and was told to try these shoes. They work. No more plantar fasciitis.

Bunions - I used to wear only Sauconys for running and then I moved where no place carries them. I measured my foot since I'd never ordered online before and ordered an 11 even though I generally wear a 10. It's perfect - and that's remarkable because I usually have some problems with my bunions no matter what I put on.

Saucony Progrid Omni 7 Moderate W. I love these shoes. They are exactly what I ordered. I have narrow feet and they fit perfectly. Also, I have found that Saucony wears better than my New Balance and stay nice longer.

Comfortable Shoe! These shoes are very comfortable. They are the only shoe I can wear that relieves my arch pain. I have even gotten compliments on them. Rather unusual for an athletic shoe! Note that the tongue is a bit short when laced to the last eyelet. I laced them differently and appears to be fine now.

I have been using some variant of the Saucony Progrid series for about 10 years. So far this model is comfortable. I use orthotics for flat feet and Saucony has been a good fit for me. I run only moderate distances (3-5 miles) and generally not more than 3 times a week. I feel they provide adequate cushioning for my level of joint impact.

Saucony Progrid Omni 7 Moderate Narrow - If you have a narrow heel, flat foot & pronate then these could be the shoes for you! I've tried all the stability asics out & came back to these. I wore the 6th generation, only complaint is my orthotics squeak more in these than any other shoes I've had! Just have to keep adding powder to the shoes, & if that doesn't do it a little lotion around the bottom of the orthotic. Other than that, they really are a good fit for my narrow foot (especially the heel).

Love this shoe - I have had two pairs of the Omni 6, and this is just as comfortable, if not more. Very cushioned and comfortable. I use this for my road running shoe.

L-o-v-e these shoes. I tried two types of Asics before these but they started giving me foot cramps. The second I tried these on, I was sold--these Sauconys are WONDERFUL!!! The tongue doesn't come up too high, the heel doesn't rub, the width is perfect and they look totally nifty.

Comfortable and well made. One problem is the leather/vinyl strip at area of left big toe which is causing some mild discomfort. I would prefer that strip of material wasn't there, but I can live with it. The shoe is airy and breathable. Like it a lot. Have had Saucony's several years and wonder why I ever stopped buying them.

Great shoe for narrow feet and a slight overpronation. I usually run with orthotics, but don't need them with these shoes. They were out of the box comfortable.

Relief for foot pain - I suffer from plantar fasciitis. My podiatrist recommended Saucony shoes. I have put my orthotics in the shoes and have been wearing them for about 3 weeks now. My foot pain has lessened considerably. In addition, I have a long, narrow foot, and Saucony shoes fit me beautifully. Finding shoes that fit has never been easy. I would definitely recommend these shoes for anyone who needs a great fit with stability.

My Go-To Running Shoe - I have been wearing Saucony Omni's for about 5 years now after being fitted at a running store. A few years later when I was looking for a shoe that was a little "flashier", a different running store, yet again, recommended the Omni! I never had the Omni 6 (bad me, I took a hiatus from running for a bit), but I find the Omni 7 is just as good, if not better than Omni 5. The only thing I've been consistently disappointed about with regard to the Omni is that they have the most boring color combos, with usually white as the main color. I am so THRILLED to see the new rose-colored Omni, yet so upset because I ordered my Omni 7's a few weeks ago, before Zappos had this color in stock. Sigh. I guess I'll have to put a lot more miles on my current Omni's so I can get the new color!

Omni Fan - This is my fourth pair of Grid Omnis and I love them. There is great stability mixed with the cushioning and comfort that have kept me buying Sauconys for the last 15 years.

For serious runners - I have wide feet, but narrow heel, I overpronate slightly and I also had bunion surgery two years ago. I have been a runner for a long time and am currently training for the NY marathon, so shopping for running shoes is serious business for me. I have run in nothing but Saucony for years, I loved Omni 5 and I am happy to say that these are just as good, if not better! However, I used to run in 8.5, but when I tried this style in the same size (I did it in a store before ordering from Zappos), they felt a little tight around the toes and I decided to move up to 9. They look huge, but they feel fantastic. I highly recommend them.

Progrid Omni 7 has great support for long distance running - I ordered a half size larger than my regular shoe size, and the fit is perfect for running. I switched from Brooks Adrenalines. The initial fit of the Progrid Omni 7 felt good. Roomy toe box but not so much that my toes were slipping and sliding. The midfoot was and still is nice and snug, and the back of the shoe fits like a glove too, no heel sliding in and out of the shoe. Plenty of cushion underneath my feet and I can run in these without any additional arch supports or inserts. I am recovering from posterior tibial tendonosis, which was causing my arches to fall, and these shoes provide great support for my arches. They are more flexible than the Adrenalines and I really like that. The ONLY downfall for me is they feel heavy. I am used to racing in light weight trainers or racers. For now, these are fine. To get my feet used to Omni's, I ran a couple of shorter runs in them first (3-4 miles). And then I ran a marathon in them and had NO problems with sliding, blistering, or with my tendonosis. The shoes were and are great. I would buy them again!

Wish the tongue would stay put. Overall, I'm pleased with these shoes. My only complaint is that the tongue slides to the outside on both shoes, which REALLY bugs me! My last pair of Progrids did not do this, the tongue stayed in the middle. Other than that, no problems. The Progrid was originally recommended to me because of my overpronation and they provide good stability. I was also pleased that Saucony has made this cute gray/silver/black shoe instead of the standard (boring) white.

Different feel - They feel a little looser than my previous shoes. My foot seems to slide around a little more, even when I tighten the laces.

Short and wide - Based on reviews, I ordered a half size larger, but it wasn't enough. My foot fit, but it didn't have the room necessary for running. The toe box was wide for me, but I have a narrow foot.
