Although these shoes weren't so bad I had to return them, I did find that I did not like them as much as the Grid Omni 6. The shoe is narrower and tighter than my previous Grid Omni's (I've had every single version since #1!). The outside of each shoe just below the pinky toe has a hard plastic support, which I find annoying (although not painful nor blister-causing…yet). I have only about 30 miles on them right now, but as I'm training for a marathon, I'll have to see how they hold up to the distance.

I've been wearing Omni Grid Moderates for 5 years, and the Omni 7 Moderate seems to have failed me. Sadly, they haven't felt right from day one. The arch feels flatter and is consistently giving me blisters even after running in them for a month. I've also started to get sore adductor muscles after my longer runs. I suspect that my gait has changed due to this new shoe. I've ordered another pair just to be sure I didn't get a bum pair. I'm also going to try the Omni 8 and Guide 2. Unfortunately, I wear a women's 11.5, so online trial-and-error is all I have.
