First, this is my second pair because I wore the first pair into shreds. But, these didn't last as long. One of the Velcro straps tore away within a short time of using from shoe. Resulted in a trip to repair, at a fairly high price. I do not know if they were lemons or just not as well made. That said, I have been asked what brand they are by others with foot issues. They are not sexy, nor are they hot new shoes, but for orthodics they work. For one with high arches who can walk out of slip-ons, they work very well at staying on.

I love this shoe! I got a new job where I wouldn't be able to wear my super-comfy tennies every day. So I set out to find a nice-looking shoe with cushioning. I had never heard of this brand but when I tried them on, I thought, "this is it!" They are super comfortable. I had knee surgery years ago and I tend to walk with one foot turned out a bit - these shoes hold my foot straight - not sure how, but they do. Love them!

Having to finally admit to myself that I am destined to wear "grandma shoes," Hands Down, best shoes I have found in a long time! I have a very hard time finding shoes that fit my 5 1/2 EE feet, and these fit to a "T." Not the sexiest shoes on the planet, but so very comfortable. So far they have worn well and didn't need any "break in" period at all. I need more in my size in more color options, please, Zappos!

Very comfortable on my problem feet. Very easy to put on and take off with velcro strap. I do wish Zappos offered other colors besides black.

I purchased these shoes for a client who has many foot problems (hammertoe, bunions, etc). These shoes were perfect for her because the stretchy fabric covering the toe box didn't put pressure on the parts of her feet that hurt. She wears a size 7 and we ordered a 7W. It was a tiny bit shorter than most 7's, but not so much that we had to return it. The wide width was adequate and the heel was snug enough to prevent them from slipping. She said that they provide enough stability for her balance problems too.

Three months later and I just came back to this page to order an identical pair of these shoes. They are so comfortable that I want to have a pair on hand in case these wear out. Yes, I had to order a size bigger, but I love them.

I love these shoes! I wear a 10WW and am hard to fit. I needed these shoes for square dancing. I was really worried about getting something comfortable. I ordered two other pairs before finding these. Thanks for the great return policy Zappos! When I first tried these on, I thought they were ugly with nylons. I almost returned them but fortunately, I didn't. They look great with tights (I have the black ones) and, of course, with pants. They are so wide and comfortable that I can dance the entire night with no pain. I find myself always gravitating to them. I'm glad that the velcro is so incredibly strong and long. I don't have to worry a bit abut the heel being narrow enough or about them falling off.

These shoes are perfect for my elderly mom. They are stylish enough, easy to put on with the Velcro, and comfortable because the material stretches to accommodate her bunion. She gets lots of compliments on these and wears them all the time!

First time using Zappos and ordering and return was a breeze. Love this shoe. I have a bunion on one foot and the soft material and larger toe area are a great help. I'll probably order another pair in a couple of months.

I bought this shoe for my mother who has an array of issues from super wide feet with sensitive bunions to plantar fasciitis and a high instep. This shoe in extra wide was not only wide enough for my Mom's foot (and many shoes in extra wide aren't!) but the fabric is also soft and stretchy and does not hurt her bunions. The adjustable strap is also long and allows for someone with a high instep or a thick foot to adjust nicely. I appreciate the last aspect as many people with a high instep (or what some call a very high arch) like my Mom buy this type of shoe for the adjustable strap and it is often too short on many shoes. The only downside of the shoe is that it could use quite a bit more support in the foot bed. My mother was able to easily put in some gel inserts without making the fit less comfortable though. This is a good shoe for very wide feet with bunions and/or other sensitivities!

Wow! Did I say wow? What a comfortable, comfortable, comfortable shoe. What other colors will you be getting these shoes in? I needed a shoe for a developing bunionette, and have a wide forefoot with high arches. Very hard to find comfortable shoes in wide enough width. Plus, one foot is a half-size longer than the other. I will recommend this shoe to two of my friends who have had foot surgery--I know they will be happy with this shoe.

Had several foot surgeries and now limited to flats that are ww. Needed a good work shoe and this fit the bill. Was able to get my huge orthotic in the shoe (got half size larger for this reason). The toe box is roomy, perfect for me. Love this shoe. I just got another pair of these exact shoes from my doctor. Thank you.

I have a morton's neuroma which in turn is causing a hammer toe. (This getting older stuff is for the birds!) I wear orthotics, but also need a shoe with some give to allow for the toe. While these aren't sexy high heels, they are very attractive with slacks. Most importantly, they are comfortable. They have some 'give' to them that can't be found in a leather shoe. Mostly, they don't look like old lady shoes. Okay, so I'm in my 50's, but still, they don't look like granny shoes! Would definitely order them again and recommend them to my friends!

Shoe is comfortable right out of the box.The top covers more of the foot than most, so had to take out any extra padding since it made them too tight.

I have problem feet that require a large toe box, and normally wear the same Munro shoes or sneakers. I travel regularly abroad and wanted a casual shoe that would also be suitable for business: This shoe really did the job! They are very comfortable, can be worn casually, with pant suits to work and also look fine well with tights and dresses. My only issue is that the strap is too long: about an inch and one/half hangs over when the velcro is pulled tight. I highly recommend them for people with hammertoes or corns or bunions!

An excellent shoe for my feet following foot surgery. The shoe is comfortable with my orthotic.

Bought one, wore into the ground. Literally. So yes, bought a second. Fits the orthodic, which I must have. Fits over the still after 10 years painful point on my big toe area from a bunionectomy. Fits. The velcro closure fabulous, you can have at one point and widen as day, and heat requires.

My 92 year old mom, who is very fashion conscious, needed shoes that were easy for the staff in her LTC facility, to help her on and of with, give her support for PT, and look cute. She has a bunion, and the stretch fabric on the front of the shoe made them fit snugly, without pinching. I believe they are antimicrobial. Not sure. These would be appropriate for any age. My mom also wears Stuart Weitzman, Merrell, Betsey Johnson, etc.

No shoe has ever been more comfortable for me than this one from a support and "walkability" standpoint. The synthetic fabric does not breathe as well as I'd like, but if I use foot powder I'm able to make it comfortably through an entire work day on my feet. I wear an 8 to 8.5 WW and found this shoe a perfect fit in 8.5 WW.

Nice looking, wide enough for my wide foot.Longer than I needed, probably could have gone a 1/2 size smaller. I have problems with a pinched nerve in my lower back. Something about the way I walked in these shoes made it worse. I wanted to keep them, but couldn't. I liked them otherwise.

I bought these shoes based on all the positive reviews. They do have a a nice roomy toe box which I appreciate. I have both Halux rigidus and metatarsalgia and perhaps that is why these shoes did not work for me. I found them to be too slipper-like, and they slipped in the heel, these were better when I tried them with socks rather than hose. But I am returning them.

I tried so many stores on and off line. I wear an 11WW and bought the above shoes. They fit well could be a little wider but am finding them comfortable now. If I could get an 11WWW, that would be great, but I don't think you make that size. Otherwise a 12WW might be a possibility. They are well made and flexible.

So wanted this shoe to worl. It was quite comfortable from the footbed and width perspective and although it looks a bit like a slipper, did seem like a good walker for the Europe trip I am taking. Unfortunately, one of the shoes was quite rigid/tight at the top, right at the area where it opens to a foot. I kept thinking it was a tight narrow but it was a Medium width! It did have good insoles (which I tried and also slipped out to have my orthotics put in). If that one spot on one shoe hadn't been tight, I would have been keeping them.

While this is a comfortable style, the sole is too stiff for me when I'm walking.
