These are great shoes! I began wearing them two summers ago after several foot injuries, they were the first 'normal' shoes I could wear and I've kept on wearing them. I vary between 8.5 and 9 and at first bought they 8.5. Since they give, that sized was fine. This summer, I bought the 9 and they are a little roomier but also fine. If you have a wide foot, I would definitely order the wide..

I didn't know a shoe could be so comfortable. Fits like a glove, feels like a glove, supports the feet like an athletic shoe. In black, your double wide foot actually looks normal!

This shoe is absolutely flawless. Why can Aetrex not make it in soft leather, too? Put it on right out of the box and wear.

I had to return and get the next larger size. seem pretty comfortable. orthotics fit. Front half is smooth, nylon-like surface; back half has a more velvety surface. light weight.

This shoe is small for size stated. Also, high arches don't work with it. Suggest you get a size larger.

Overall well-made, comfortable shoe when fitted properly. Did not look like extra-wide. Wish they made an EEE width.

Bigger than other shoes. A wide is really wide. Returning because there is little support in the shoe.

It's sad but true that the top part of this shoe is very uncomfortable. Also, I typically wear an 8, and although I ordered a 9, it is too tight. I'm getting depressed about not being able to find a comfortable, attractive shoe!!!!

Seemed a little short in length. Toe rubbed the end. Width was good. Orthotics made foot to high and the top rubbed foot. Seemed to get a rash within 1-2 minutes. Must be something in the fabric. Loved the light weight and not as bulky looking as the Drew Mary Janes have been in the past.

This would have been a good shoe for me if the throat didn't extend so far toward the ankle strap. This area is usually tight on me, and the use of orthotics makes the fit more difficult. Also, the shoe overall felt quite snug, even though I ordered Wide just in case. Had to return it as too small both in length and width.

Having a true XX wide foot, I've had great luck with Aetrex shoes in the past but these ones didn't fit. Even with the second customization insole taken out, they were a little too snug across the top and left marks across the tops of my feet after walking around the house for a couple minutes. The toe box was wide enough, there just wasn't enough height/give in the shoe. In addition, the material of the stretchable front half of the shoe seems like it might snag on things easily. These shoes will be going back!

I ordered these in XXW because i\'m pregnant and my feet swell. Unfortunately, the the stitching across the top is not stretchy like the rest of the upper so they are very uncomfortable and they hurt the top of my feet. I have to return them. If they had used elastisized bias tape they would be a winner.

These shoes are surprisingly attractive for a basic Mary Jane in stretch fabric although the way the strap folds back on itself is a little heavy looking. The stretch fabric is very comfortable for bunions and toe problems. The insoles are removable and accommodate my orthotics.

I work at conferences and trade shows so I need to be "dressy" at all times, but with super comfortable shoes. I usually wear Danskos but after long days the leather starts to cause blisters. During my last gig (6 days!) the Danskos gave me blisters on day one (eek!) so I put these shoes on. I wore them for the rest of the event - comfortable feet, no blisters, no foot pain, and this is spending 18 hours a day pretty much standing up and walking everywhere. Recommend these shoes highly!

This shoe is very comfortable. It has a wide toe box and gives my bunion no cause to complain. Also, I like the arch support. If you have foot problems, you should definitely try these.

This purchase was my second pair of Berries. I have a difficult time with finding a shoe that is wide in the right places and that offers support. I have custom arch supports that fit well in this shoe. Heels are not an option for me, so this shoe goes well with dresses or slacks. I am highly pleased with my purchase.

I would have loved these shoes but the instep was not very deep and they were tight on the top of my feet. Perhaps an elasticized top or deeper instep would be an improvement.

I love these shoes. They are comfortable and make my size 12 feet look smaller. I have fallen arches and stand all day. When I wear these shoes, my feet are NOT tired at the end of the day. The only drawback is that the Velcro has been rough on the hems of my pants with lighter weight fabrics.

For me, these are by far the most comfortable shoes on earth. My feet hurt really badly if I wear any other shoes. The Atrex Berries by Helen have been a life saver for me. I cannot say enough good things about them. I have not had a problem with the shoes falling apart like one of the other reviews said. I have been wearing them to work Monday through Friday since I got them a couple of months ago. I am hard on shoes. These are holding up great. I like the fact that you can order them in wide also.

I have a new job. I need to wear black shoes. According to my pedometer I walk 5 - 10 miles a day and stand on my feet. That old broken toe was giving me all kinds of grief. These shoes solved the problem. I had bought two other pairs of shoes that are known for comfort and removable liners for orthotics, but these shoes do it! No foot pain, no calluses and corns developing, no painful 'old broken toe', no bunion aches. Just a great comfortable shoe. They may not look sexy but they are awesome if you are on your feet and have experienced foot 'issues'.

Great shoe for my care management client who has very large bunions. She is only comfortable in shoes that have soft sides and stretch. Great service from Zappos related to a size exchange.

These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. They are the perfect size and I can wear them with or without socks which is a big deal for me. I have very bad back issues and these are so great and really help. I would absolutely recommend these shoes and all Aetrex products!

Super lightweight and comfortable. The material has a pretty sheen to it. While not a Hollywood fashion statement, I wear them with pants and dresses and they are nice. Happy to put them on because I know that my feet will feel good all day (and I do a lot of walking at work). You have to be careful that the Velcro strap doesn't snag your hosiery when putting them on but like the adjustable feature.

This is a great shoe. So comfortable. Nice roomy toe box. I have wide and fat foot so it is difficult to find a shoe with a nice fit all around. No gapping. Runs somewhat short so I recommend ordering 1/2 size larger than normally you would. I'm returning mine and getting a 1/2 size larger.

These are really cute and amazingly comfortable! I have really bad hammertoes, bunions, flat feet, etc. but when I wear these, all I feel is extreme comfort! My husband said that I had better buy another pair, since I have never raved so positively about any other shoes in recent memory. I highly recommend these!
