A little snug - I wear a size 4.5-5 C and ordered this shoe in a size 5 M. To my surprise, it was actually a little snug in both length and width when I was wearing a pair of average weight socks. The back of the shoe also cut into the back of my heel a bit, but because I didn't do any walking in them I don't know how big of a problem this would have been. I considered exchanging them for a size 5.5 M, the wider widths apparently don't start until size 6, but just wasn't crazy enough about the way the shoe looked to try a larger size with no guarantee it would fit either, so I just returned it. If you have an easier to fit foot, I would still give this shoe a try but you may want to order a half size larger than your usual size.
