Exceptionally soft, flexible, and comfortable, with enough support to make this wearable all day with no break-in period. The soft leather ("lambskin") lining is one of the best features, lightly padding the interior in a breathable, luxuriously smooth layer that's exceptional even in this high price range. The shoe has a wide forefoot and a rounded toe, more rounded than the main photo indicates, which adds to the comfort but doesn't dress up the casual look. The vamp is somewhat low on the foot, good for high insteps, so it's somewhere between a traditional flat and a loafer. I originally ordered the brown and was disappointed that the color was so dark and, well, drab, so I reordered black. Now I'm thinking I'll keep both, just because this shoe is such a pleasure to wear. I wear a wide and this shoe is true to my usual size. Unlike some wide shoes, the heel doesn't slip.

These shoes are the most comfortable shoes I've ever purchased! I order my shoes in a wide width, and not all fit me properly. But these shoes are a perfect fit. They breathe to keep my feet dry and cool, and were the only shoes I needed on a recent travel trip. Perfect for business casual meetings and long walks sightseeing. I plan to purchase another pair.

I didn't keep these shoes because they were a bit too big. I vary between a 6 1/2 and a 7 Wide; usually need a 7 in a closed-in shoe. The 7 I ordered was too long, but perfect in width. I have trouble with Clarks W not being wide enough for my foot but this particular shoe was generous in regards to width. It was very nicely cushioned in the toe area and seemed very well made. If you are ordering this shoe, I would suggest not ordering "up" and taking into consideration that unlike many Clarks, the W is truly wide.

These shoes were amazingly comfortable the very first day! Look is a little more casual than I would have liked, but it\'s worth it for the comfort.

These shoes are ultra lightweight, soft and comfortable. I bought them for a trip to Europe, had no break-in time, and overall were great. Did rub back of my foot, but with a bandaid okay. Walked up to 10 miles/day. May need 1/2 size larger if you like socks. Tried over 10 pairs, shopped all stores. Couldn't have done it without Zappos. The best service I've ever received. These shoes are a joy to walk in. They feel like tennis shoes. They fit a slight bit loose at the heel, and I don\'t have narrow heels, but I can still walk fine.

Clarks unstructured line of shoes are the most comfortable shoes I have ever put on. I have 3 different styles in this line and I love them all. They feel great the first time you wear them. I tend to have trouble with finding shoes that don't hurt my feet after wearing them more than an hour, but not any longer!

These shoes are so comfortable! As someone else said, they are like wearing slippers. I would warn people, however, to buy their usual size. I ordered my usual size and then worried that they might be snug, so I returned them and got a half size larger. This was a mistake as they do stretch or "give" somewhat. That\'s okay though as I\'ll just put some innersoles in them. These look great with cropped pants in the summer and also great with long pants in the winter.

I got this shoe because I have plantar fasciitis and need good support. We were going on vacation and I knew we would be doing lots of walking. I was attracted to this shoe because I have a narrow foot and this one comes in narrow widths. This shoe is very attractive and feminine (not dainty, but not clunky either), but what it lacks in beauty it makes up for in comfort. The leather is as soft as butter, the sole is very flexible, the lining is soft and cushy but offers good support and it is as light as a feather. It was comfortable at first wearing, even without socks. The insole is supportive, but could be removed if you needed to use a prescription orthotic, there is room. I got it in black, but it comes in a very pretty shade of deep red, also navy. I wouldn't wear them with a skirt, but they look great with jeans and pants. I wear an 8.5 narrow and this shoe fit perfectly. It is as comfortable as a house slipper and a joy to wear. If comfort and support are prime concerns, this shoe is an excellent choice.

A little clunky looking (very wide toe bed), but are absolutely slipper-like comfortable. I usually wear a 7.5 or 8 (used to be a narrow 7.5, but now have bunions) and the 8 medium fits like a glove. Not dressy, but with pants these shoes are perfect for work.

This is my first pair of Clarks and I am really impressed. I was able to wear them right out of the box with no breaking in period. I have been to art fairs and flea markets and on my feet for long periods of time with no discomfort. I have been shopping for Clarks boots and will definitely buy more Clarks.

I recently purchased a pair of Clarks shoes for a trip to D.C. I was looking for a pair of stylish and comfortable walking shoes and this pair exceeded my expectations. There was no need to "break them in" since they fit perfectly and I felt their comfort the minute I slipped them on. I put them to the test for a week of miles of walking and not once did I regret my purchase. Great pair of shoes that not only look good, but also provide maximum comfort. Zappos was great. They upgraded my shipping at no extra charge and I received my shoes the day after they were ordered. A wonderful surprise!

These are really comfortable! I wear them all day every day. The sole is fairly flexible so it would not be good for someone who wanted a more structured shoe.

Yes, this a very good shoe. The Clarks "UN" brand is wonderful for anyone who needs orthotics. The inner padding is removable for those who use custom orthotics, but the original ones in the shoes are great. Appreciate the narrow widths.

The "Uns" are fabulous! My feet are quite sensitive, and also narrow. I went up a 1/2 size and got the narrow. Perfect! They are pretty casual, but that is my life -- casual. Well worth the investment, and of course Zappos upgraded my shipping.

I have purchased many styles of the Clark shoes and love them all. The Clark Un.fable is by far the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn in my life. I first ordered it in brown and it was so soft and comfortable I just had to have the black ones too.

Great shoes. Look good and are comfortable from the first day. My feet are narrow, I ordered 7N and they fit true to size and don\'t slide up and down as I walk. They match a lot of things in Cafe Brown. I also got black un.parody Mary Jane. I like them, too. I wore both pair around in the house for several days to be sure; I am hard to fit. They held up to the test.

I am what they call in the west 'a tender foot' with sensative feet. So, I am always looking for shoes that are comfortable, stylish but also well constructed. With a very high instep I have trouble finding shoes that don't encroach on my instep and these fit the bill all the way around. They feel like bedroom slippers and there is no break in period. Just put them on and go. The size is true to my feet like all the rest of my CLARKS. Of course Zappos service is excellent although I think the price of these shoes was a bit steep.

These are absolutely the best shoes ever. They are very light on the foot, arch support is perfect, smooth comfortable lining is great, cushion on your feet feels like walking on air. I purchased an 11w, and the fit is great. The construction is high quality.\r\n\r\nI walk miles in these shoes and am thinking about purchasing a backup pair.

Ordered these shoes in brown for a trip in the Baltics. They were perfect for the walking I did. I ordered them several weeks before my departure. After receiving them I thought they were kind of cute in a simple casual way plus they made my size 9 feet look shorter. For some reason I was afraid they would not work for my needs. I thought they may require socks that I didn\'t necessarily want to be wearing and worried that they may rub my toes even though they felt comfortable initially. I had full intentions returning them. Well, time ran out and I had no casual walking shoe. I tried them on again and decided to keep them. The break in time was nominal if any at all. They are a wonderful casual shoe for travel being comfortable with or without socks and easy to slip on and off going through security or inflight. I give them a big thumbs up and am considering getting another pair in black.
