Wow, delivery was fast. I agree with others, the shoe is not pretty, makes my feet look big, but then again, my feet are big! I was disappointed in the arch. For the cost of the shoe, and that it was advertised for flat feet, I was hoping for substantial arch support but its pretty average. After wearing for an afternoon I did notice nice support in the heel/ankle area. The size and width runs true. Overall, I would purchase this shoe again.

I really liked these shoes but the wide was just not wide enough for my one damaged foot. I had to get shoes recommended by my podiatrist.

Great customer service. Great shoes, but not really white - more of an off white, a little disappointed with the color.

These bone colored sneakers are ugly, look like Grandma's corrective shoes, but for walking, they are the BEST. They have saved my back!! I would suggest the white though...bone and black look like old people shoes!

Very nice shoes. The only thing I would have liked is more breathability (mesh?) since I have poor circulation in my legs/feet. These shoes will be great for walking and exercising though.

These shoes were the only ones that worked when my stupid bunion decided to flare up. They are amazingly comfortable and quite stable. I find the lacing a bit frustrating, but they stay the way you lace them until you take them off, which is not always the case with shoes anymore. Super comfortable right out of the box, so if you have a stupid bunion, these are the shoes for you.

Very comfortable, but a little snug in the width but I think if I went to a width size bigger they would be too big. They might stretch out after being worn for awhile.

This is my first time ordering Brooks. I wear a 10.5 2A in New Balance and Asics, so that's the size I ordered. I have a very narrow heel and overpronate. The heel fit very well and the arch support is excellent. I am returning the shoes only because the toebox is too wide and a little bit long allowing my foot to slide forward when walking downhill. I tried with orthotics and got the same result. They would be excellent for walking on flat surfaces for long hours.

These are stable, heavy shoes. They are basically comfortable, although I occasionally find that the ball of my foot (which hurts often) gets sore if I wear the shoes all day or walk any distance. They are very comfortable for standing and are excellent in snowy or slippery conditions. I like them but wish they were a little lighter in weight.

I bought these to help with my overpronation and because the reviews were so glowing. First day was a wow how great. Now in my third week I'm fine with them but not as impressed. I feel I get more support in my naots. Still they are well made, a good color to go with anything and have no problem wearing them.

The fit suited my narrow foot but after walking for ten minutes, the foot bed felt too hard to be comfortable. I have peripheral neuropathy so a softer, more padded foot bed would have been perfect.

I love this shoe. Overall I rated it a 4 because they run a little small. I have orthotics that I must wear and I usually only buy 1/2 size larger to accommodate them but with this shoe I needed a full size larger. That said, these shoes are extremely comfortable and a perfect walking shoe. They're firm and they come in narrow which really helped me since I have very narrow heels. My feet don't schlosh around in the shoe which adds to the comfort. I would highly recommend these for anyone who needs extra support for their feet and legs.

I purchased the shoe 1/2 size larger than my normal due to comments from others. With that caveat, it fits perfectly. I have a long narrow foot - the width is just right. Extremely comfortable. Fabulous support. When I have aches and pains from wearing poor footwear, I spend a day in these and feel great all day long. I wish it were a less "clunky" look, and the color is "cold" compared to the color shown online. I don't like the shade. But I do love this shoe and I expect that it will last a long time.

I purchased this shoe because I have problems with foot pain, fallen arches, etc. The support was excellent, however, width seemed a little narrow and my toes a bit cramped. It is a solidly made shoe, but a heavier (all leather uppers) than I expected and the style kind of dowdy. Still, the arch support felt very good and I might try a half-size up.

Good shoe but seems a little narrow in the toe area. I haven't worn them enough to really break them in. I have wide and flat feet so I'm hard to fit. They are comfortable and I think once I wear them more the toe area will get more comfortable.

This is a VERY sturdy and clunky walking shoe. I ordered wide, but either Brooks are making their sneakers more narrow, or my foot is getting wider or a little of both! Off to order extra wide! Thanks Zappos for your super customer service!

Brooks makes the most comfortable shoe in the world. My only complaint and I see other reviewers have mentioned it, is that the top of the shoe doesn't quite cover the top of your foot...the Velcro straps don't wrap around your foot enough (it leaves a lot of Velcro exposed). This time I bought the laced shoe and I barely have enough shoelace to tie. I have never had this issue with any other shoe so I'm pretty sure its not my feet. It doesn't stop me from buying Brooks though since they are so comfy. But since others have had similar issues I wish Brooks would take the hint and address it. But overall, I love this shoe and it is my 3rd pair. I'm just going to have to buy longer laces.

I bought these for walking around the neighborhood, based on other reviews. They fit well and are comfortable, fitting my wide feet. I have inserts for my other shoes, that are not necessary in these. I do however, have to wear thick socks because there is not quite enough cushion for me. Also they do not work well when it's wet out, they do not have any traction. They are great for a treadmill or dry, flat conditions.

Bought my 5th pair of Brooks Addiction for women. Love them! Only shoes I can wear most of the time. However, I'm having an issue with this last pair. They have a tendency to pull my socks down into the shoe. I haven't had this problem in the past so I think they've changed the fabric on the inside. I wear long socks with these in the winter. If I were to wear a shorter anklet type sock, I'm afraid it would pull the entire sock down into the shoe. Wanting to know if anyone else has experienced this problem.

Notice to anyone with narrow feet, this shoe slips in the heel. I will return them because of this. Can't give this much in the style points because it's an orthopedic shoe.

Having problem feet I have had to get wider versions of walking shoes. While the cushioning and support was really good, even the so-called wide version was very snug and I have to wear either very light socks or none at all.

I have a very high instep, so cannot lace these all the way up, but they are still very comfortable if left unlaced at the very top. I ordered a half-size larger than my normal shoe and that worked well for me. They are a good basic walking shoe.

Very comfortable shoes. It has been very difficult for me to find shoes that give me the arch support I need. These do and although they are not very stylish. But I elect comfort over style!
