Fit and size are great. Very comfortable walker. The arch could be a bit better. But that is according to my feet. Someone else may have no problem at all. They are a bit clunky. But I think that just makes them different, not bad.

This shoe feels good for walking, although I'd prefer a little more support and a tad more cushioning. The main problem is getting the shoe on and off. The tongue is stiff, the laces are short for the number of holes, and the laces are tight in the holes. Loosening it enough to get my foot in or out is a chore, and so is tightening it onto my foot. If I keep it, I'll probably relace it, skipping a few holes. Getting it on and off will still be work, though.

I walk every day and need good shoes. These are very sturdy, run true to size, I wear and 8 and bought an 8 which fit perfectly. They are very substancial shoes, a bit heavy with a thick outer sole but this is good for walking. My foot does not turn over to the side as can happen with shoes that are made partly of fabric. These shoes are leather. I have been using them for two weeks and do not find any problem except that lacing them up can be a bit more difficult as they are a bit stiff to lace. I would recommend them to anyone who walks daily. I do like that they come in beige as I feel less that they shout look at my feet!

The size was too big. The comfort is good. I had to get them shipped to my home in USA and then shipped to Thailand and the worst part is I can't even return them. I am always a 6.5/7 in sneakers and these were way too big. Overall, the comfort is good and the style isn't bad, but I am very disappointed with the size.

These shoes seem hard to find. What with all the excellent reviews on various sites, that may mean they are all being snapped up as soon as in stock or the manufacturer needs to up their production (both?) I hope it doesn’t mean they are discontinuing it. I have been on a long and painful search for a mobility shoe in order to combat my flat feet and over-pronation which has caused PTTD in both ankles (posterior tibial tendon dysfunction). I finally found my perfect athletic-type shoe, but I also wanted a more water resistant version. My custom orthotic inserts take up a bit of space so I need a half-size larger than my usual 9.5. The size 10 in the Brooks Addiction Walker is a bit short (my ortho inserts barely fit flat all the way to the toe in these, but they fit perfectly in other brands’ size 10s). The width, too, is a tad tighter than I would like. However, as they are leather, I can always use a leather stretch spray across the toe box. The shoe is very well padded around the ankle and feels pretty comfortable all around. The sole is perfect as it is very supportive and barely flexible.The insert removes easily for using customer orthotics/inserts. The Brooks Addiction Walker is a very good shoe for me. I do wish it were offered in more stylish color combinations, though ... not necessarily neon flash, but I think a contrasting sole would look great -

Have only worn around the house. Am awaiting a smaller size to become available. A bit stiff and since I may return them I don't want to "break" them in. The medium width could have use longer shoestrings

Comfortable fit, better than the Sauconcys I’ve tried!

This shoe is comfortable but the leather is not breathable my feet smell after an eight hour shift, that did not happen with same shoe in black color..

The only problem: they look so clunky on my feet that I've twice put them on and then decided not to wear them out of the house for their intended purpose, which was: walking to professional meetings in something other than sneakers. I'm sticking with my Brooks Ghost - 2A, despite garish colors that match none of my work clothes.

I measure 8.5N. I like a lot of toe room, so I ordered this shoe in 9N. I like the fit. At 2 months of wear, they are comfortable enough that I haven't replaced the insoles with my usual Spenco arch supports. I wear this pair on the days that I stand most of my 8 hours shift. I only gave this shoe 3 stars for the style because, well, they are solid black leather and I would prefer to wear a more colorful mesh shoe. I also find they have good stability for walking my unruly dogs.

With a multitude of foot problems, I was looking for a very comforatble, supportive shoe for lots of walking. This shoe does great, and felt super comfortable from the first time I put it on. The style is rather clunky, but then again, I am not looking for style - I just need functionality and comfort.

This is a very comfortable shoe. I have wide feet with a bunion and I was very comfortable in them. I also purchased the Brooks Adrenaline GTS19, which is a running shoe. I am far from a runner - just in need of a shoe I can walk several miles in without pain. I returned these only because I don't like the look of them.

I bought these for work-on my feet all day. So far so good.

This shoe is very supportive with plenty of room for my orthotics. If I were still working, they would be fine with uniform. However, they were too much of a "clodhopper" for walks around the neighborhood. Returned.

These are the best shoes for anyone who's on their feet most of the day. I wear them for work and my daily walks. These also are great for anyone who pronates.

Had to go up 1/2 size and get D width. My problem was more peculiar to my foot issues and probably not the problem with these shoes. I really can no longer wear a 12mm heel to toe drop.

I have problem feet. I wear an 11XW thanks to a golf sized bunion I inherited from my dad. To add insult to injury, my feet are nearly flat, so heel spurs, and tendinitis also come into play. Brooks addiction makes fantastic shoes for folks like me. I ordered this particular shoe because I recently traveled to Greece and Venice where walking is mandatory. While the shoe leather felt a bit tough, walking non-stop for 5+ hours was a breeze thanks to these shoes!

I have found these shoes to be some of the most comfortable for walking and wearing for long periods of time. I have both feet and knee issues and I have tried many, many different shoes. These have a roomy toe box area, they do not rub on the tops of my toes, they have both support and cushion for lots of walking and standing such as in airports, Las Vegas Vacation and general daily walking. If I had any suggestions it would be for them to be made with a lighter more breathable upper for wearing in the summer because these do tend to get warm in the heat.

Very comfortable and sturdy. Not as heavy as I thought it would be. Not even remotely attractive, oh well.

My only complaint about this shoe is that the tongue is too long and pushes on my ankles. Don't manufacturers ever read reviews of their products? I'm certainly not the first one to complain about this. The rest of the shoe is very comfortable and I'm hard to fit (short, wide feet), so I kept them. They're also better looking than most black walkers, if that's a concern for you.

I’m going to look for other options.

I have used this shoe for years and love it. Nope, its not pretty, but great for walking and support. I put my orthotics in it and order a 1/2 size up which allows for thick socks and the orthotics.
