Great hoodie, very warm in cool weather. Fits like I thought it would, and arrived in the time period it stated. The only thing I don't like about the hoodie is it is a little tight around the neck. So WATCH out when you wash/dry the hoodie.

Nice Sweatshirt, but the strings are not white as shown - they are black

Head hole a little tight but makes up when it's on because it wraps closer to the neck. Very soft. I wish the black with white logo had white strings like shown.

This was a Christmas present for my boyfriend, but he said he liked it a lot! He said it's warm & comfortable, the only thing he didn't like was the neck part; he said it's too tight around the neck.

I wanted a sweatshirt that wasn't "waterproof" or something that by itself could help me go mountaineering or something but just a basic, warm mid layer with a hood. This hoodie fit the bill so I ordered it right away. There are so many color combinations to choose from that even if my favorite was out of stock, I could still buy a color I really liked. This sweatshirt is warm and everything it lived up to be until I tried to put it on and my head wouldn't fit. I tried a different way and eventually got my head through. Probably a problem solved my going a size larger but then it would not fit correctly. Overall I am happy and excited to put it to use.

PROS: Really warm hoodie, and not too thick, I actually start to sweat in it. CONS: I bought this in XL and after the first wash it shrunk more than usual, I mean more than other XL hoodies I purchased. Also the stenciling is not sawed on like I thought it would be. Maybe it specifies that fact someplace in the description,but I missed it, and I expected it to be sawed on.

Hoodie was purchased for my teenage son. He loves it. However, be careful on sizing as it shrinks after being washed.

It's a nice, comfortable hoodie. However, I read a review before I bought it that said it sheds a lot of material in the wash; they weren't kidding. I washed and dried it by itself to avoid the loose material matting into other clothes and I'm glad I did. It's still a nice hoodie and I'll be buying another.

I bought this sweater to just wear when going to class on campus. In upper New York it gets cold around this time and this is a great sweater for it. I am a college football player so I'm big. I bought a size up because I heard of shrinkage now after washing it fits great. It is such a comfortable sweater to wear and I love how thick the hoodie is. Most likely going to buy 2 or 3 more of these sweaters

I'm glad i bought a size bigger then usual because it shrunk in the dryer. Also the first time wearing it, it left little fuzzies all over my shirt underneath. It's super soft and cozy tho! Great too throw on and go run errands! I'd probably buy another :)

The hoodie was great except for the fact that it was a bit small. I am 5'6" with sort of wide shoulders and I ordered a large and it was still a bit small. This hoodie has shrunk a little as it is made mostly of cotton (unlike the North Face Surgent which is made of polyester). I personally would recommend the Surgent over the Half because it fits better and doesn't shrink.

It's a plain old hoodie. Nothing super special about it to justify the price tag. Also, the color I got was different than the one pictured on the website. I was expecting a light gray one but got a dark gray one instead

I've purchased these over the years. These exact hoodies, I used to get them at sports authority. I'd buy them out of large , every color they had bc they were really warm and made well. I still have 3 hoodies from 5-6 years ago. And they are still thicker then the 2 I just purchased. It's a shame we let good products continually become less and less what we pay for.

Overall the product was nice, not 100% what I expected. I thought that it would be a darker (richer) black however, it was quiet dull. It also wasn't as thick as I expected but that wasn't a deal breaker.

Very nice. Thin but soft

I ordered a XXL because that's my usual size. It's fits well but I probably could get away with a XL, but it's very comfortable and very warm. At times I didn't even need a jacket just wearing the hoodie was good enough. I didn't like the black, when it arrived and I first opened it it looked like a faded black not expecting that from NorthFace. Looks like I washed it a few times thats how the color was but decided to keep it anyway, going to use it for everyday use so I guess it was ok. Just expected it to be a little more solid black like their jackets.

Did not like. Gave it away to mt younger brother.

Not what I expected from north face this shirt is very light weight and the waist band is not fitted at all

The hoodie overall is nice. The only problem I have is the color. It looked totally different from the picture. It looked like it was washed and the color faded away off it

Nice quality product, fitted great until it was washed, even on a cold cycle and cool dryer cycle it shrank to a size that was way too small for me and so it is now the girlfriend's. Shame as I'd only had it a week.

Sweatshirt fits a little small. I got a 2x because I wanted a big sweatshirt and it's big but not 2x. Also its pretty much navy, I thought it would be a grey blue like it looks...nope. Navy and a light blue logo.

Ordered 1/2 - 1 size larger than my normal size based on the other reviews. The length was good, but the overall fit was that of a trash bag. I know that if I had ordered a size smaller (i.e. my "normal" size) and washed it I would have felt like it fit right, but too short due to shrinkage. The color was also slightly different than that pictured, it seemed like a slightly washed out blue which I didn't like and I'm sure would only fade slightly more. Had to return this and find a different product. Didn't fit at all like as shown on the model. It's almost like they yanked it down on him and snapped a picture, or he is at least 3" shorter than I am. (I'm barely over 5'11", not especially tall).
