These are so comfortable, I could have lived in them! The only reason I did not choose them for my wedding, was because I decided to go with a blue shoe.

Although these were a little too shiny for my dress, they are so comfortable! If your wedding dress is a shiny material, you have to get these shoes. They are beautiful - and extremely comfortable for a 4 inch heel!

I am very pleased with this purchase. I received my order in just a couple of days. The shoes were just as they looked in the picture. I wore them on NYE, all night, and had no problems. I did apply the non skid adhesive things to the front of the shoe. They seemed a little slippery without them. Overall, a great pair of shoes! Would definitely recommend them to a friend.

I LOVE THIS SHOE! I ordered these shoes on Tuesday morning this week and received them on Wednesday afternoon. Impeccable service. Back to these awesome heels, I bought them in taupe for my wedding next year and LOVED THEM!I usually wear a 5 1/2 (which is hard to find), but because I have chubby feet and wide ankles I got the size 6. They fit perfectly and feel amazing. Will I be hurtin' by the end of the night? Yes I will. But I'll probably hurt with any heel I wear, so at least I love them and they feel comfortable at the onset. Thanks again Zappos.

These shoes were great! I bought them to go with a bridesmaid dress and both the bride and I love them. Very stable with the wider heel, especially for the height. Extremely comfortable, and fit true to size. I would recommend them to anyone.

I bought these for my daughter to wear to prom. Her gown was one inch too long, and the platform on these took care of that perfectly. These are beautiful shoes and, according to my daughter, comfortable enough (she does not normally wear high heels).

I love this shoe so much! I bought it in silver and loved it so much, I ordered a pair in black the next day. It is the absolute, most comfortable high heel\/platform shoe ever. It\'s the satin fabric upper that makes it so comfy. It makes toe pinching impossible. I hope Chinese Laundry, and other brands too, design more shoes with fabric uppers!

Great! Wore them for a wedding I was in and they didn't become uncomfortable until hour 8 or 9! They kind of have that old Hollywood style. Love the height, but it's not too much or risque.

Amazing shoe! I hate blisters and not being able to walk or dance after an hour or so. These shoes are the perfect solution! Sexy, available in many different colors (So far I have berry and black!), made of a silky fabric (no painful straps!!!), and so easy to wear. I have two pair that says enough! The only slight negative I see to these shoes, is they're a little pricey for the workmanship. It could just be the pair I got, but there's some glue showing in a few places, etc. Nothing ostentatious but noticeable on inspection. As for the fit, I usually wear anything between a size 8 and a 9, depending on the shoe. In this I ordered an 8.5, and it fits perfectly. One thing to look out for is the ankle strap, if you have large ankles, these shoes may be uncomfortable for you.

These shoes are gorgeous! I usually wear size 8.5 or 9, but in heels, I like to give myself a little extra room for my toes. The fit of the 9 was perfect. Ladies, don't be afraid of the height--the platform provides cushion for the ball of the foot, and stability (so you don't feel like you're gonna break your ankle), and the fabric upper doesn't pinch your toes together. I can wear these for hours, and not be wishing for my sneakers. I ordered them in Coral, and the color is beautiful. The shoe has a kind of retro look--like "I Love Lucy" or a sexy June Cleaver. I love these shoes!!! They are actually pretty comfortable, which is awesome since I'm wearing them for my wedding in April of 2010. But even more important than the shoes, ( which is weird because I love love love shoes!! ) the customer service was impeccable. I had to call and place my order because my computer was being weird, and it was late too, but the lady I spoke with was super helpful! My shoes even arrived in 2 business days (3 days total!) A full day before she said they would!! and I'm so happy with the service that I will continue to buy my shoes from Zappos.com. I was a first time customer but won't be a last! I've been scouring the internet looking for a platform blue sandal to wear on my wedding day. Even before I found my dress, I knew what I wanted my shoes to look like! I allowed myself a pretty large budget because I wanted to get them just right. After months of research the answer came in the shape of the Baldwin in blue satin.:)They are gorgeous and look more expensive than their $69 price tag (the only giveaway is the cheap sparkly closure that is thankfully quite small). Remarkably comfortable and stable for such a high heel, they make dancing possible. The heel is pretty sturdy. The fabric is soft and the blue is a beautiful vivid color, between turquoise and royal blue. I have a narrow foot and these fit ok. I'll probably add a little padding to make sure they're perfect. They are true mediums in width. Can't wait to wear these!

Beautiful wedding shoes! These shoes are great. I bought them for my upcoming wedding in August. They are comfortable and the heel is sturdy so you feel like you are being supported. I love the little sparkly buckle. Its hard to find size 5 shoes that are as nice as these are.

Most comfortable heels I have ever had! I don't wear heels very often. These were so comfortable. I danced and walked around in them all night(5 hours). They are beautiful in silver. I was impressed. I have another similar pair of Chinese Laundry heels w/ a closed toe that I normally wear for special events. They are also comfortable but my feet usually hurt pretty bad by the end of the night. Wonderful. True to size also.

These shoes are fantastic! I got them to go with my wedding dress. I needed a high heel because I am 5’1” and my groom is 6’4”. I knew that Chinese Laundry gives their shoes a little platform in front and it adds the extra comfort to the shoe. I’m able to walk comfortably for a few hours and not feel like I’m going to topple over. The satin is beautiful and they have a little extra sparkle on the buckle to dress them up just enough. The shoes are a little heavy, but I’d rather have a strong shoe that is comfortable than a flimsy one. I’m thinking about buying them in the other colors!

These shoes are beautiful!! I bought them for my wedding, and I compared them to several others before making my decision. They are pretty tall, but they are comfortable; I have back-up shoes just in case, but I'm fairly sure that I will be able to wear these all night!

These shoes are absolutely fabulous! I got 2 pairs for my wedding--the ivory and the teal-colored one-- to be honest I wasn’t sure if I wanted to go traditional or wear them for my "something blue". I went ahead and wore the teal ones, and they were so fun when they peaked out from under my wedding dress! I am a fan of high-heels with the hidden platform under the toes--those are the most comfortable, especially if it’s anything over 3". These were very comfortable, I wore them from 2:30pm-1:30am. I want to buy more colors!

I purchased these shoes as a 3rd try to find the perfect ivory wedding heels. I needed a very high heel so that I wouldn't have to have the length of my dress altered, but also wanted something sturdy and comfortable enough to wear for several hours. These are the PERFECT high-heeled wedding shoes. They are very high and VERY sturdy. I will have to get used to them but don’t think it will be too hard as comfortable as they are. I'm so glad I found them...and they were the cheapest of the 3 that I purchased! My only wish was that they were closed-toe since my wedding is in March in Rochester!

I bought these shoes for my wedding. They are so beautiful. The material is out of a satin so it feels fabulous! Trust me don't be scared of the height because of the platform on the shoe. They don't hurt within two min of wear.

I never buy shoes online, but I really needed some black heels for a wedding. I saw these shoes, and they were exactly what I was looking for. I read the reviews and had a good feeling about them. Shipping was free both ways, so I figured I didn't have anything to lose if they didn't work. They worked perfectly and looked great (especially flattering for the legs)! I love the height, as I am only 4'11" without shoes. The platform makes the height doable and stable. I did use an cushion insert for the ball of the foot (definitely recommended), and I was literally good to go all night. Without the insert, they probably would have been significantly less comfortable. As it was, I didn't have to lose the shoes on the dance floor like I have in the past. I didn't find a lot of arch support (or my arch just didn't hit right), but it didn't really cause problems for me. The fabric right around the buckle did start to get a little frayed. Also, I had a major callous on the balls of my feet when it was over (but no blisters). All in all, probably not the best shoe if you're not used to heels, but definitely a steal for combined height, aesthetic, comfort, and function.
