Nice, warm, comfortable jacket.

I have nothing but great things to say about this coat/jacket. It's stylish and keeps me very warm. I live in Minnesota, so warmth against cold weather is very important.

Like many of the other reviews have indicated, this jacket is dope. I usually wear a medium or large in other North Face coats, but a small in this jacket fit me perfectly. It is roomy and warm. I like to rock it without the fur, unless I am in Canada, where everyone rocks the fur hoods. This is one the best (of about four) North Face jackets that I own. My only advice is to note that this jacket does run big.

We're pleased with the coat. Our experience with Zappos was wonderful and we had to exchange the coat for a different size and it couldn't have been easier!

This jacket is great. Has a fairly thick down interior and big hood that covers up far over your head. A lot puffier then what it looks like in the photo, but still not overly plump. Very warm jacket and I use it in below 30 degree weather.

This jacket is great. It was a gift for my son, he loves it. The color is different, but in a good way and is nice and warm. A good addition for North Face fans!

Temperatures in NYC keep dropping, but it does not phase this jacket in bringing upper body warmth. This is my second North Face jacket; last one I bought was 5 years ago - these jackets are an investment. Love Zappos for having "XS" size. The cut on this jacket is on the loose/big side. A small fit me pretty big (sleeves were too long). The jacket is also not bulky, which I love. I love the two inside pockets.

This is by far the best wintercoat I have ever owned. It keeps me warm and yet, it's not too bulky. Keeps me warm on the streets of NYC and it's insolated enough to keep me warm when I go back to Michigan to visit for the holidays.

Just what I was looking for in a winter jacket. I like waist length jackets. This jacket is extremely warm and well made. The faux fur collar though is cheap looking but it does detach. I anticipate many years of use from this jacket.

Street credential winter coat! Warm, wind resistant, waterproof! Great look and functional! Very classic in the sense that it's retro revisited. Pricey coat but will last through the years. Cut is roomy but goes with style. This is not a fitted coat.

Awesome Jacket - This jacket is hands down the best jacket I have ever owned! It is extremely warm and very trendy looking. It has HyVent technology so if it’s 40 degrees or -10 degrees you will be very warm, but not sweating your a$$ off. I highly recommend this jacket.

Love It! Every review I read about this coat is true and on point. It keeps me warm in cold weather, looks awesome, and does its job for a winter coat… no complaints.

Overall the coat is very good but does not have big enough pockets to put leather gloves in. Charging hefty amount of money, North face needs to put in large pockets so we can tuck in hands if we are cold. Side pockets are not big enough to leave anything in it. We cannot even put wallet in any of the pockets in this coat. Other than that the coat is absolute plus to have for winter time. Please add in some big pockets in this coat inside and outside. After all we need to carry few things in winter like gloves and hat etc.

This is a great jacket. Like many other reviews said, it is warm. It is a bit pricey, though, which is what delayed me ordering it, but now that I did, I love it. I live in NYC, so I have to walk around everywhere, so it's great. Being that it is slightly pricey, I don't know if I'd buy it if I lived in suburbia somewhere. I like the fur lining and it is detachable. Every now and then, I find it sheds, but nothing severe or unruly.

I found this jacket to be quite overrated. I purchased size Medium and it feels like an extra-large! I bought it for the Alpine winters since I live in Switzerland, and though it is quite warm, given the bad sizing, I am frustrated at how many gaps there are for wind to seep through. The hood is also over-sized and this defeats its purpose. I have only used this jacket once and in that one time, the zipper came apart and it took some time to fix it. Overall, I was very disappointed with this purchase. It's not priced so low that one can overlook such flaws. I expected a far better product from North Face.

Remarkable jacket. Everyone has said about the good things. But let me mention a few down sides: 1. The whole hood does not come off: its not attached with a zipper. The fur comes off though. 2. Lack of pockets to keep your hands ward. 3. It is not thick as Parkas; however, the sweater-type ends of the sleeves is the best idea I have ever seen for a light super warm jacket. 4. it is definitely one size large. I am medium/large (even on other jackets of North Face like Parka), but on this one, I wear Small and I can wear a very thick sweater underneath it. Order one size smaller than you usually wear.

I purchased this jacket for my son. He absolutely loves it. The fur is detachable; however, he does leave it on. This jacket has kept him comfortable in the brutally cold winter that we have been experiencing.

Friends: We are living on a Ranch in the Sangre de Cristo mountain range of Colorado at an elevation of 9000 feet. Even at temperatures of minus 18 degrees fahrenheit this coat will keep you warm. Plenty of pockets and long enough to cover your hips.

I love this jacket. So warm and not bulky. It is perfect for days like today (21 degrees out). Cuffs and breast pockets are nice.

This was one of the few items that was on my son's Christmas list. At first I scoffed at price, but turns out it was well worth the price, warm and well made. Delivery was very prompt, particularly since I ordered it late right before the holiday rush.
