This coat runs very small. I ordered an M and it was more like a size 4-6. Returned but reordered because it is so lightweight and great for travel!

I am delighted to have this coat in my possession. It is perfect for San Francisco weather, is a great color green, and it is extremely light and packable. And it actually has some style! Even though it might cost a little more than other down coats, it is well worth the cost because Patagonia delivers in quality.

I love this coat and Zappos too! Since I am one with my winter coat from November to April, I did a lot of research to find the perfect coat. The Fiona Parka was it. I wanted something that was warm, light weight, durable, above the knee and something that didn't look like a space suit or a sleeping bag. Basically, I was looking for something that I could throw on over workout clothes or dress slacks and look presentable no matter wear I went. This coat fit the bill. My only issue was that due to the coat's slim fit. I ordered a size larger than I usually wear and it was huge. Thanks to Zappos, I was able to exchange it quickly and effortlessly for a smaller size. The one I have now is a little snug in the shoulders, but otherwise, fits quite well.

This coat fits true to size. I purchased a medium when I normally get a small in Patagonia clothing. I had to return it for a small. I'm 5'7" and 123 pounds. It's the best long, down coat I've tried. the seaweed is a very cute olive color. Looks good with everything. Comfortable fit. Warm.

Love it! As other reviewers said, it is on the snug side, but not enough to warrant buying a size up. I wore it today in damp 35 degree NYC weather and was more than warm enough. I got rained on, and just shook the raindrops off once I got inside. It's also the perfect coat for wearing to the theater when you're cramped into a tiny seat, or to a club when you're not checking your coat. Because, it weighs nothing and is crushable, you could stick it in your tote bag and forget about it until it's time to go outside. The slim, form fitting shape is dope!

Super happy with coat. Glad I ordered a size up. Looks flattering, if that's possible with a parka. Super warm, light to carry around or stuff into a bag. I like that the zipper goes both ways, although with the flare at the bottom, I haven't needed that feature when sitting or driving in the car. Great Zappos shipping always makes it easy to order, even if you aren't 100% sure.

I absolutely love this coat. Finally, a stylish down coat that is versatile enough to wear with jeans, or to add as warm layer if you are dressed up. I would say it runs true to size. I am petite, but chesty, and the XS fit me fine, although fitted thru chest when I wear a sweater underneath. Lightweight, and I like that it is a shorter coat, rather than kneelength, as most seem to be. At 5'2" this suites me. I tried North Face, but I preferred this fit.

Love this jacket for cold fall and warm winter days. Stylish without looking like the Michelin Man! Dress it up with a scarf. Quality.

A great all-around coat. It's lightweight and very easy to pack for travel, and it's warm yet stylish. It does run a bit small. I normally wear XS in Patagonia tops/coats, but the XS was just a wee tight across the chest in this. Better to go up one size anyway, because you can then layer underneath when it's really cold out. It's perfect for California - I'll bet I will be wearing it for several months. Had I bought a heavier model, I might only wear it in the very cold December-January season. If you live in colder climates, you might check out a heavier model.

I absolutely love this jacket! I own 3 Patagonia Down Sweaters, but this one is my very favorite since it’s more stylish than the others, and therefore has more uses. The coat isn’t bulky at all, and the 800 down is nice and warm. I find it runs a bit small in the shoulders so have had to order up one size. Once the sizing was figured out, I was in heaven! I loved it so much I bought a second one just in case they stopped making the style.

Warm, technical urban garment; really a long alpinist down sweater. Super light, ultrapackable, 800 fill power so very warm, but no linings, no hood, no extras to add weight or bulk. A great coat for traveling! It's warm, though; last night kept me comfy in a howling wind and 20 degree temps in New York (with hat, scarf, gloves, thin sweater underneath). I do wish it were a bit more flattering than the horizontal baffles make it, but it's not too bad (better looking on than the Down with It). I am 5'2, 130 lb, a size 4-6 and really need a medium! This is a close-fitting garment, I sized up and am glad I did.

I love this jacket! I wear it every day...honestly, and sometimes I don't bother to care what I wear under it and just continuously keep it on because I pretend it is a dress! It is slimming and surprisingly can seem a bit dressy (if you need it to)! A first for Patagonia. I have collected almost every type of jacket from Patagonia over the past few years and this is hands down my favorite, because it looks great for everyday use, not just for the back country.

I love this jacket. I own the down sweater (a shorter version of this jacket) in 4 different colors, one with a hood. I needed something a little less "ski bum" and a little more professional, so I ordered this. It is slimming and smart looking, and doesn't display a Patagonia tag on the outside, which I really like. You can't always make Patagonia look professional, but this works!

I love everything about this coat! I bought the natural, and it's so beautiful--stylish and fitted for a very smart look look. It's so lightweight that when the tiny box it arrived in came, I thought there must be some mistake, and Zappos sent me a vest in error. But, no, it was the coat I ordered, just a very lightweight and, from what I can tell, surprisingly very warm coat. Love it!

Love it! Super thin (so no bulk) and Zappos continues to amaze with its super fast shipping. I'm 5’4” and while it's true that the sleeves run long, the material allows you to scrunch it a little and you can't tell. Great length. True to size.

Love this coat. It's lightweight, so great for trips where it takes up little space. Usually packing a winter coat takes some planning as you have to think of everything else going in the suitcase too! I love the light color as it goes with everything and I can't believe how warm it is. Wore it on a recent trip to Park City where it was around 30 degrees and I could wear a t-shirt underneath AND I stayed warm. Excellent.

I need more than one - I live in Chicago where I bike and walk at all temperatures, all winter. I bought this coat in fall 2009, and am now considering a second one, since I am wearing it every day (note - you can unzip up from the hem - very useful for biking). This coat is just so light, and so warm. And it is even photogenic (the nipped waist and slightly flared hem do wonders), makes a wonderful airplane blanket, and rolls up easily into a lumbar support (or to stuff in suitcase). It is fitted though, so find some lightweight layers, put on your hat, scarf, and boots, and look good.

I love his coat. The fit is perfect and shapelier on your body that it looks in this picture. The picture of the black one shows a more accurate fit. I love that there is plenty of room to walk with the flare on the bottom. It is not binding at all. I just wore it to SLC, Utah this week and it kept me perfectly warm. The color is not brown. It is more like a bordeaux color. Beautiful, but definitely not brown. Since the color looks nice on me though, I kept it. The color on this site is far closer to the actual color though that the one on the Patagonia site direct; they do a great job of putting a gold light on the model to make it look a luscious coppery brown. It isn’t. I’ll be buying more Patagonia from Zappos.

My wife loves this jacket. Girls, with this jacket, you wont look like Santa. It is very thin but very warm! Besides, Zappos is the best! I gave wrong address and they contacted me to double confirm right away! I received super fast service. They are really professional! I definitely buy again here! Thanks a million, Zappos!

I bought this and the Patagonia Down With It Parka, both from Zappos, to compare the two in anticipation of my upcoming trip to the Winter Olympics. They're both awesome, the Fiona is basically a longer down sweater (which I've had and loved for several years) and the Down With It a warmer but not much bulkier coat. RE: sizing, I'm a standard XS, 5'6/110 lbs (and by the way, Zappos was about the only place I could find both of these in xs including the Patagonia site) and sizing is true. Bottom line is that I'm keeping both; they're great additions to my winter arsenal. To top it off, I placed my order from my Florida house on the evening of New Year's Day, about 6 pm EST, and had my coats first thing Monday, and who would have thought I'd actually get to use them so quickly with this cold winter blast?! Awesome service, Zappos, you win again!

Love this coat! It is super thin and isn't bulky & boxy. It's hard to believe it will be warm when it's really cold out, but I expect it will be & I'll be happy with this coat for years. Zappos, you are the best! Love the fast delivery and customer service is awesome.
