With considerable feet problems, I was concerned about buying sandals. But as with most other Clark shoes, these sandals are more comfortable than other brand named sandals that I have tried in the past.

The most comfortable shoes ever. I got these for some walking shoes for my mother. She loves them. She says that she would wear them constantly if she could. She says that her feet never hurt or get tired when she has them on. I've since gotten her a second pair...

good shoe - I have purchased similar Clarks shoes to this for the past 10 years. This year the leather was stiffer and thicker and the shoe was not quite as wide as previous versions. I am afraid Clarks is cutting cost by cutting quality.

My foot slips forward a bit, but I have a hard foot to fit so it is probably just me. Very comfortable - like the adjustable straps.

Clarks Sunbeat - This is a comfortable shoe for extended periods of standing. I wish the back strap was adjustable. The shoe tends to slip a little on my narrow heels, which discourages me from wearing them when I'll be doing a lot of walking.

LOVE ZAPPOS!!! Zappos is the greatest! I feel so fortunate to know of this site - a place where I can find and order shoes in my size (12) and receive such awesome, great service. Returns are easily taken care of in a quick manner and the delivery is more speedy that anything I have ever experienced.

Let the Sunshine In! I am really happy with this shoe. I have worn Clark's before and find the quality very good. Lots of sandals stick to the bottom of your feet making them uncomfortable to wear. Clark's do not do this and break-in very easily. The only problem I have found is that some of the black dye rubs off on your feet! Otherwise the shoe is great and your service was excellent. I will order from Zappos again.

A little clunky, but comfy - The shoes are pretty comfortable, though a little more arch support would be nice. They look a little dated, but they stay on my feet, and I don't have to fight them like other sandals.

Clark's Sunbeats not what they used to be - I have worn Sunbeats happily for years, but find that my most recent purchases feel flimsier and the fit has changed. I think they must be being made in a different place. I really wish they would make black and mushroom leather sandals, as I dislike nubuck and that is the only thing offered in the colors I want.

Where are all the Buckles? I am a big fan of Clark's shoes, especially their sandals, so I look at their shoes first when I'm shopping for new sandals. My last pair held up for 3 years of nearly daily wear during warm weather, and I walked all over Paris (yes, the one in France) in comfort wearing them. I prefer buckles to Velcro, and buckles are harder and harder to find. My only disappointments with this year's models are a) the color selection (no khaki), and b) the absence of padding under the straps that I'm used to on my old pair. I am hoping the leather straps without the padding will have the same comfort factor.

Clarks Sunbeat Sandals - I have ordered these for years. They wear like iron, and always look great. I have noticed, however, that the instep straps you use now are not as comfortable or sturdy as they used to be. It would have been 5 stars all around if not for this.

Not what they used to be - I had a pair of Clarks for nearly 10 years and they literally disintegrated. My second pair is now 5 - they were never as soft as the first pair. The newest third pair has stiffer leather strapping than either of the other two. But the overall comfort of the shoe sole remains high.

? I have MS and wear an AFO on my left leg. I always wore size 9M but with the AFO need a 9.5 Wide flat with good support. I looked at thousands of shoes online and thought this style looked ideal since the straps were adjustable. The right shoe is too wide so I will use an insole and tighten the straps. I haven't worn them yet since they are white but they seem to fit OK. I have a hard time finding shoes. I love online sites!

Clarks are mostly great quality - If you're unable to wear heals, the black croc-print gives you a dressy look for a flat sandal, they looked very nice with black dress pants. Clarks are always good quality, however, the heel straps on these felt a little low and loose. I also feel like the leather could've been a little thicker. I like them and wear them anyways.

Old friend - Sunbeats are old friends. This is approximately the 10th pair I've purchased, the second white ones. Zappos is the only place I could find white.

comfort - I wanted to get my Mother out of lace up tennis shoes. I wanted her to keep the good feel of walking shoes. This shoe did the trick.

Travel Star - I bought this shoe in black leather 11 years ago for a trip to Beijing during August. I knew I needed something that would be VERY comfortable in heat and humidity. They were great - I wore them all summer and on every trip to warm places for 9 years. The soles finally wore out. The black leather is no longer available so I replaced them with the Nubuck. Unfortunately, my replacements ripped after a couple of years and had to be replaced. However, I still love the shoe and find it perfect for travelling, hiking, walking, beaching and more. P.S. I wear a fairly narrow size 11 and am able to adjust the shoe perfectly.

The Dye Comes Off - I buy the Clarks Sunbeat shoe in black and the dye turns my feet black and is hard to get it off. I usually only buy the Clarks Sunbeat when I can't get the SAS sandal that is almost identical to this shoe. As of this writing, Zappos doesn't carry SAS brand shoes.

Clark's sunbeat review from Marianna V. - I find that when I wear my sandals my toes hurt in the front right where the little bump is. There's a soft little mound right under the ball of my toe, and for some reason, it makes my toes go forward. Don't get me wrong, I really love this sandal otherwise I wouldn't have ordered two pair. This is the only shoe I can walk in and not trip! I have a balance problem. I feel so secure in this shoe that I can just glide along!

Near perfect - For some reason, the very front of the shoe occasionally "stubs" when I'm walking. Can't figure out why.

Ankle Strap - Needs a buckle on the ankle strap. Foot slides around too much especially when walking. Their "older" model sandel had this strap. It needs an ankle strap.

I Like to Wear Clark's Sunbeat - I have been wearing Clarks's Sunbeats for 15+ years. I wear them primarily at home for casual wear, but occasionally I wear them for work. Over the years I have trouble getting the colors and leather that I want. For example, I prefer smooth leather because I live in a damp, rainy climate. All I could buy in navy blue or black was suede. I would like to buy a smooth leather burgundy/cordovan pair, but that is not available. I also note they are no longer made in England, but in Italy. Whap happened?
