Downgraded - This is my third pair. The quality of the leather is not as good and the fit has changed so that it's a smaller footbed. This time, the sandals required a break in period whereas before I could put them on right away and walk.

They kind of grow on you! All of the reviews were great, so I bought these shoes (in white). At first, I thought they were too narrow, so I loosened the straps. Then they felt too wide! I ended up with just the bottom strap loosened one notch. Then I thought I didn't like the way they looked; kind of old fashioned? But after wearing them around the house, I took them out for a test drive and Voila! I DO like them!!! They are getting more comfortable with each wearing.

Slightly disappointed in Sunbeat - This is my third pair of Clarks sandals and I really wanted to love these, but due to less cushioning than I expected, I just can't love these.

Good sandal - I have two pairs of these sandals and love the looks and feel of them. The only thing I don't care for is that the strap that goes around the heel doesn't conform to a narrow heel... seems to slip a bit... Maybe it's just MY foot... Otherwise I like these very much.

Comfortable walking sandal - The shoe is extremely comfortable, especially with adjustable straps. I require a flexible sole with padding, and this fit the bill. It isn't gorgeous, but not ugly either. You can see where the sole was joined in a spot in the center of the front of shoe (outside portion). I could do without this (slight) seam, but it isn't visible from the top of the shoe.

Finally found comfort - Great shoe for problem feet. One foot wider than the other and was able to adjust for comfort. Sole is very "springie", buckles are not a problem. Will get them in multiple colors.

Started off good. I got these sandals for a trip I am planning to Italy which is going to require a lot of walking. I decided to get them early to break them in. At first I loved them, very comfortable, cute and light and I was wearing them a lot. Just yesterday I took a 3 mile walk and when I returned I had a blister on left foot-not good. So I am a little disappointed. Too bad because I was very excited about finding a comfortable shoe. Not bad for everyday life, just not a good 3+ mile walking sandal.

Sizing an issue - This is a cute shoe and basically comfortable, but I've noticed that a recurrent comment has been about the sizing. I usually wear between a 6 and 7. As it was a sandal, and having read the comments I ordered both a 6 and 6 1/2. The 6 /12 just fit, so I returned the 6. But as I tried the 6 1/2 around the house it too seemed to short, so I ordered a 7. The 7 is barely longer than the 6 1/2. Not wanting to keep returning shoes, and needing a shoe with an open toe area I've kept the 7. As a side note, I also ordered a 6 1/2 Newbeat, it was longer than the 7 Sunbeat, but not as trim a style and the leather upper was much stiffer. I know that Zappos can't do anything about this, but it seems that Clark should be able to be more consistent in their sizing. As far a arch support, there is none in this shoe, so I will use a supplement support.

Generally, I like the style and fit of the shoe. It's quite comfortable for everyday walking and driving. However, after trying to wear it when I had to do a lot of walking, I found the sole rather hard and inflexible. The shoe would be more comfortable with more support and a softer, more rubbery base.

Love them - I have had two pair and in each case the sole split all the way across in the front part. They are so comfortable and such a good fit and did last a fair amount of time that I just bought my third and fourth pair. I wish that you had bone color the last time I ordered.

Comfort and healing - I already had one pair of Clarks Sunbeats and loved the feel and comfort of them. Unfortunately, I broke my toe, and had to visit a podiatrist. The Sunbeats were the only shoe I was able to comfortably wear, including sneakers, so I wore them to the doctor's office. After she taped my toes, she told me to wear shoes like I had on. Since I needed colors other than the blue ones I already had, I ordered mushroom and tan leather. Those are the only shoes I have worn for the past three weeks. Last night, I tried putting on my sneakers again, and guess what! I am back in my Sunbeats. That's where I'll stay until I am able to walk in other shoes without pain. The Sunbeats have been a Godsend for me.

These are almost as wonderful as the Sunbeats of 4 years ago that they replace. The fit is very adjustable, great support, and comfortable. The leather seems a little thinner.

So comfortable! These shoes are extremely comfortable--maybe just slightly shorter than the size would indicate. I had to reorder a half size larger than I normally wear, but the result was definitely worth it!

Clarks Sunbeat. Clarks Sunbeat has enabled me to wear sandals since I do not have an attractive foot. They do the job! And, look better than sneakers which I had to previously wear all summer: I wear orthotics.

Clarks Sunbeat - This is a very attractive little sandal. Almost no arch support, but I do like the look and the weight, which is very light. I also like the adjustability. Would be more comfortable for me, a 70 year old lady, if the heel were just a bit higher, to help my back. All in all, I liked it well enough to keep it, which is saying a lot. Also like that it will actually be appropriate to wear with almost everything. Zappos, you are the best!

Too big. Otherwise adequate. Were I to order them again, I would order at least a half-size lower. I ordered my regular size - wide - and the shoes are really too long for my feet. I compensate by tightening the straps, but I would be much more comfortable with the shoes on my feet if they were not as long, or if the back strap were adjustable. Otherwise, the shoes are fine. I think they are comfortable, but don't find them to be as comfortable as some other "comfort" sandals I own. Still, I have very wide feet and they do accommodate my feet. Just too big!

Comfortable sandals! I have a wide foot, high arch and my feet are not exactly the same size--lots of problems! These sandals allow you to fit to each foot individually with the three straps and buckles. They are very comfortable for walking.

Sunbeat sandals - I've bought this shoe for several years and the sizing seems to have gotten smaller. (I have an old pair in the same size, and they're a little longer, so I know it's not just my feet.) Also, the newer ones seem stiffer and not as soft. The edges rub a little. This may be because I got used to my worn-in older shoes, but I don't remember my original pair being as stiff. A little more padding in the sole would be nice. Overall though, even though I've made mostly negative comments, I like the shoe. With the exception of some Dr. Scholls (which no longer makes my size, apparently) these are the most comfortable sandals I've found.

Great sandal - Very nice sandal. Comfortable right out of the box. Adjustable for comfort on each strap. Looks nice, too!

Clarks Springer Sandal - I bought a pair of these sandals last year and the upper part of the shoe has pulled away from the sole of the shoe. I am not pleased with this shoe. I had a pair that lasted for ten years, so I thought I would try another pair, but found they are not made as good as they used to be.

Old standby - I've had a number of pairs of this style over the years. It is a nice, simple design. It's not particularly good for walking long distances because it doesn't have a lot of support, but it's a well-made shoe that's comfortable for knocking around in, and it comes in a wide range of sizes and some attractive colors that coordinate with a lot of different things.

Clarks Sunburst - I ordered these to replace a pair that had worn out. These do not have the same fit as there is a ridge around the outside of the heel that was not in the previous model. They are not particularly attractive shoe but I have problems with fit and these are fairly comfortable for me.

Sunbeat not so springy - I have worn these sandals for years and finally had to replace my old ones. They look the same, they fit the same, but they sure don't feel the same. When I walk on hard surfaces, there is no cushioning; with my old ones I could feel the cushioning as I walked; these, I feel only hard surface. That is really disappointing because I have done a lot of walking in my old sandals that I will not be able to do in the new ones, because of the harder less cushioned sole. Too bad, I was hoping for better.

Good sandals - I have been wearing Clarks Sunbeat for about 10 years now. They are not quite as comfortable as they once were, but that is probably my feet, more than the shoe. I preferred the color British Tan, it is a shade or two lighter than the present Tan.

My Honest Opinion - I did not have any real major problem with the shoe. This comment is about your return. I believe your company has the best and easiest to follow return policy/directions ever. I had no problem and you also replied that you got the package. Good job.
