I\'ve worn Clarks Sunbeat for several years. It is a comfortable sandal but has minimal arch support. Generally, I\'ve found that the leather version is softer on the feet than the nubuck version as the nubuck seems stiffer.

Very comfortable sandal for hot days. Soft sides and sole with no scratchy pieces to irritate. The straps allow me to adjust as my feet swell later in the day to prolong my comfort. Excellent sandal for the price. I highly recommend.

I already had 2 pair of these shoes in different colors but one pair was several years old and definitely needed replacement. I ordered the same size and color because they had always fit me perfectly and felt great. However, I noticed that the new pair seems somewhat wider than the old ones. I have pulled the straps as tight as they will go and they are wearable even though my feet flop around in them somewhat. I am going to keep them but wish they were made in a narrow size as well.

Sandals are great, glad to finally have shoes that fit (I take a AA shoe and have a narrow heel). Only problem with the sandal is that I can feel the straps where they are attached under the heel. Needs more heel padding to cover this.

This is my 2nd pair of Clarks Sunbeat. They are comfortable shoes. The only difference with this pair is that the straps are shorter than the other pair, and the padding/cushioning for the bottom is not as "comfy" as the last pair I ordered. It seems that even Clarks has now skimped some. They are still comfortable, but the first pair I ordered was just more padded on the bottom than this 2nd pair.

Zappos service can't be beat - as usual, my order arrived 2 days after I placed it, without any surcharge for the fast mailing. As for the shoes, like many others have already expressed on this site, I'll just agree that I miss the "old" version. I've worn this sandal for years, and the quality of the nubuck leather on the uppers used to be so much better. The sole is still the same, but I wish Clarks had just upped the price instead of lowering the quality. The nubuck used to be at least twice as thick as it is now. I would gladly pay more for an unchanged product, but since that doesn't seem possible I'm happy that at least this version is still available.

I have always had a bad back, and now I have a bad knee, will probably need knee replacement. I usually wear clogs with no back strap in summer. Since I'm hobbling around right now, I was looking for a nice sandal with support and a back strap. I ordered my normal size and I love the fit. Only wish they had more arch support. I do think they are attractive shoes, I ordered black.

Total adjustability with 3 buckles and straps is a big plus. The suede footbed is another. Cushiony heel is a third. The edges of the leather on top are a bit sharp and sort of dig in as your foot makes the push off stride, but I think this will soften over time. So many reviews say these are comfortable sandals for walking, I'd have to agree.
