I bought these shoes primarily for step aerobics, and I am happy with them. They are lightweight but have enough lateral support for all kinds of stomps, turns, and hops. If I could improve anything about them, I would add more cushioning in the ball of the foot (for this I took off one star for comfort). Adding Walking Company premium insoles makes them a lot more comfortable for high impact moves. The slightly asymmetrical lacing system is great for getting a good, firm fit without binding on the top of my feet.

Been using this specific cross-trainer for over 2 years with no reason to switch so far. Runs a half-size small, so order up. Zappos' customer service, as usual, is excellent. Ordered Thursday night before Friday holiday, got it the following Monday in AK!

I am a fitness trainer so I look for lateral stability, comfort, breathability. You shouldn't have to "break-in" a shoe. They are comfortable right out of the box. I also need the shoe to hold up to wear and tear. I teach several fitness classes per day plus personal train and these are the shoes I put on. I've ordered 3 pairs. I love them. And the customer service at Zappos is great. I won't shop anywhere else.

I Jazzercize five days a week. These shoes were comfortable the very first time I wore them and I noticed right away that my legs and feet were not sore. When you are 60 years old, any way to lessen pain and soreness is appreciated! Once I reach 100 hours with this pair, I plan on ordering another pair. I love them! I love Zappos' service! They got me my shoes within two days!

I love my Asics, buy a pair every year, brand loyal to them. I put these on and took a cardio combat class, and love that there is no break in time. I bought my size, no issue with that for me. Love the service at Zappos too!

I bought these shoes for my dsughter on recommendation from her podiatrist due to foot issues. At first she wasn't keen on the look/style as she was so used to running shoes. After a few days of wearing them she realized the comfort and performance were well worth it! Zappos came through as usual-fast delivery!

I use these shoes exclusively for Turbofire and they rock! I have had trouble with Plantar Fasciitis with other shoes Turbofire but not anymore. I use Superfeet Green insoles in them as a precaution, but they are probably perfect as is. They are light weight, fit narrow feet nicely, and fit straight from the box, no break in necessary. If you have narrow feet, especially heels, and slight pronation but like high impact workouts, these are the shoes for you. On sizing, I have always worn a size 8½ in Asics shoes until this year. Now I have to order a size 9. I still wear a size 8-8½ in street shoes.

Love them, my feet are hard to fit because of Hallux Rigidus, and these are superbly comfortable!

Best cross-training shoes! Excellent impact adsorption (for those who straggles with knee problems) and lateral support. I heard this model is discontinued so hope that Asics comes with something even better. Zappos is incredible! Highly recommended.

The shoes are great for my feet. Even better is Zappos' incredible customer service, including sending me a reminder that my previous pair were a year old, and the free upgraded overnight shipping they surprised me with.

Asics is my new favorite sneaker. I went up a half size which works well. I love that I could order two sizes and conveniently send the one that didn't work back.

These are awesome. I have not tried Asics before, but at last I seem to have both comfort, a bit of fun with the color, and room enough for my long second toe. The gel inside is just soft enough. I look forward to wearing these all over Italy!

I really wanted to love this shoe, and did for general gym activities. Unfortunately, however, they did not address the arch pain I was experiencing during cardio kick class.

This is an excellent shoe. I usually wear a 7 1/2 - 8 and an 8 fit perfectly. My foot is wide in the toe box and narrow in the heel with high arches. I use this shoe for step aerobics, kickboxing, agility training and weight training. It offers excellent lateral support and good cushioning in the forefoot. The laces are a bit short for me, but work. This is probably because of my high arch. Great shoe! Highly recommended!

Great fit, true to size and lots of room in the toe box. Perfect for gym workouts, which is why I purchased them.

Great shoe! Very comfortable for every day, cross training, aerobics. Good lateral support, good arch support. I wear orthotics in my running shoes and don't need them for these. Comfort all day long, even just to walk around in. I have narrow feet, thin heels and they fit great. I wear a 9 in running shoes; I ordered a 9 in these. Perfect fit! This shoe is a good investment, even if you don't exercise. Asics does it, once again! Who knew Asics could make such a good cross trainer?

Great shoe! Comfortable the first time I put them on. Sometimes the mesh makes my foot look wide (which it isn't) the way it's cut and positioned I think my foot looks thinner and smaller. Love it!

Best shoe for working out! I use this shoe for everything except running. Trying to order my third pair (but they are out of my size), which occurred the first time I tried to order this shoe over a year ago. At that time only the white/red was available and it was a bit too bright for me.

This is the most I've ever spent on a pair of athletic shoes, but a friend had recommended these for my plyometric-type workouts, and I am so glad that I ordered these! If you do a lot of jumping-type workouts like Insanity or HIIT workouts, these will save your feet and your knees. They have fantastic arch support, and the best cushioning through the sole of the footbed that I have ever had. Also, I usually wear a 7 1/2 in "street" shoes and an 8 in athletic shoes; the 8 in these fit perfectly, with just enough room at the front of the shoe.

This is my 7th pair of Asics. Since my first pair I have never tried another brand. I am at the gym 6 days a week; everything from weight training, cross fit to high intensity cardio classes. These shoes are the most comfortable I have ever had! Love 'em. Great price too!

Great shoes but too narrow in toes.

I've never worn this brand but read other reviews and decided to try them. I have a right foot with a bunion and also need arch support. This is the perfect sneaker for walking and the gym.

These are fabulous shoes. Great workout shoes. I love Brooks because they really fit my feet well and are super comfortable. A good value too.

This is a very comfortable shoe. I was very surprise with the arch and ankle support. I told my sister about them and guess what she already had a pair.
