My husband has foot problems and has a hard time getting shoes that do not kill his feet. The New Balance are the only shoes he has been able to wear comfortably. Add to that Zappos extreme customer care and my shoe buying experience is great. My husband loves the shoes and I love Zappos!

I bought these tennis shoes for my husband, who has very narrow feet. He loves them! The fit is perfect and he has raved how extremely comfortable they are. They look great, they feel good and he's thrilled!

Well, I can't say enough about how amazing Zappos is, but the shoes were too big and had to keep them because I was traveling and didn't have time to exchange them. I had ordered the same size I was wearing in a different NB style, but these were wider than the previous pair I had.

Fits well and is comfortable. I bought these to replace a previous model from New Balance. This was my first ever Zappos purchase and I\'ve been very pleased. Though my local shoe store goes out of their way to find solutions for very wide feet, this was the first time they were unsuccessful. The only other place I could find what I needed was on the New Balance web site. If I remember correctly, Zappos had either a better price or a better deal on shipping. I was skeptical about Zappos at first, but they really came through for me on this transaction.

When I reviewed this shoe I was impressed at all the positive comments, but it has been the worst shoe I've worn in 30+ years of buying New Balance. I changed the insert out and that made it tolerable for about 6 hours. I didn't send it back because I threw away the original insert. I usually buy the upper 900 series 993, 992, etc., since the late 70s. I just wanted a shoe I could wear for working in the wet yard and such. Anyway, if you're looking to buy a shoe, this is the place to buy it - Zappos. They will bend over backwards to do whatever is necessary to be sure you are pleased with whatever you buy. I will continue to buy here and they are helping me find the right shoe. Thanks Zappos!

I buy these shoes about every 6 months for my husband. He loves them! He has a very wide foot with a high instep and finding shoes that fit and are comfortable is difficult. Even shoe stores that carry New Balance don\'t always have this style. So we hope NB doesn\'t stop making this shoe.

I work in retail and need a comfortable, all black, shoe. These shoes have been comfortable. I wear a 15 in New Balance, but a 16 in most other sneakers. New Balance is awesome. Zappos is, of course, awesome. The new shoes have been great.

Bought these in 2EE to try and reduce occasional minor foot numbness when using elliptical. They did not eliminate the problem (it is not a shoe problem per se), but did give a little extra room to wriggle toes and get the blood flowing again. Fit was great. Tongues are a little stiff at the top and the first couple of times of use I could feel them against my ankles when on the elliptical. Fine for walking though. All in all, a nice leather workout shoe.

I bought these last year for my 18 year-old son and we recently came back for another pair. We purchased the brown suede with green trim. They actually have the look of a hiking boot rather than an athletic shoe, which really makes them more practical in certain situations. They are attractive, comfortable, and also quite suitable for an active lifestyle.

Always been a fan of New Balance and these shoes don't change that. Great fit for my 11 wide feet, comfortable and they seem built to hold up well (as the many NB sneakers I've bought do). A slightly more aggressive tread would be nice for the mountain use these get, but that was not something they claimed. I use these primarily for gym work anyway, and they are perfect for that. Only other quibble I might have is they are a bit darker than I expected and almost oxbloody in color (just the slightest tinge). For the price, great shoes. I'd buy them again. [Online reviewers, repeat this mantra: 3 and 4 stars mean very good, 5 stars are only for the sublime, spectacular, and rare find. Yes, the whole world is not a 5 star experience.]

They fit fine for the first couple weeks, then the insole started to flatten out. The out sole is super stiff; has less than desirable give. These shoes might be fine for overweight people if they don't spend 8 hours a day standing. I wish that the Skechers came in 17+; they're more comfortable than these. I've worn mine just about every day for the last 8 months; the out sole is incredibly durable.

These are by far the best and most comfortable tennis shoes I've owned. A lot of this comes down to fit and shape being right for me, but they are also very well constructed and of high quality material. I have another pair of New Balance shoes that I bought that are designed for court-wear (thicker soles, more cushion) and they felt solidly constructed, but they had too much play (i.e. free room in which my foot could slide around). The result was that I had way less support and I could feel an old ankle injury starting to throb after about 2 hours of tennis. These shoes manage to be quite snug and give excellent support, at the same time managing to be extremely comfortable and not feel constricting, which I find really helps reduce injury.

Zappos does it again! They had the size I needed and both pairs were shipped super fast! The shoes were needed for work and they fit the bill with comfort and style. New Balance is an excellent shoe especially since they carry wide sizes.

Being gifted, or cursed, with unusually large feet, it has always been a challenge to find comfortable ones I like in a 14E. I am challenged no more! The New Balance MX622 fits me like a dream, comes in several colors/styles and Zappos always has shoes to fit me in stock.

These fit well, and I almost kept them, but I found the 927 model to be softer on the inside. I walked for several minutes on the treadmill to try these out before deciding, and they simply felt too hard, not enough cushion.

I sent these shoes to my college son in Oregon because the ones he normally order were gone. He loved them. Loves the color (green and brown) and said they were the most comfortable shoes he\'s ever had. When you have wide feet, this is quite the compliment.
