Not the best MBT - I love MBTs, but was disappointed in these and sent them back. The 7s were too short, and my toe chafed. The 7.5 also chafed my toes; perhaps the shoe is too shallow up front. I have extremely narrow feet so this was a surprise. I have several other pairs that don't have this problem.

If you've got pronated ankles, this shoe isn't for you. I love the Kisumu and the Kaya, but this shoe seems to angle the foot oddly with a tilt from the outside in. Less arch, more... something else so that my ankles drop down, which I know from experience, will give me knee problems. Don't understand it, but can't use this one.

These shoes are not only horrendously ugly, but they are extremely uncomfortable! I bought these shoes hoping they would provide ample cushioning on my walks with my friends, but they are certainly disappointing. The next day my legs to my abdominal were sore and fatigued! I think it ruined my knees also.

I was fooled! I was fooled by the hype for these shoes!! Every time I wear them to walk 30 minutes a day, I get huge blisters (even with blister bandages) on the back of my heels, and my feet go NUMB after walking in them for 15 minutes!! I have had others watch me walk to make sure I was walking in them correctly and I have been, but I continue to have problems!! I have high arches, and knee problems. These shoes were recommend to me by several different people in different fields of work claiming that they really helped them. Well, after wearing them now for 3 months, trying to "break" them in, etc., I have come to the conclusion that the claims on these shoes are nothing but "hype". I would not recommend these shoes even to my dog (who has hip problems)!

TERRIBLE SHOES - These shoes were a big let down. I read that they are supposed to help posture but they made my back ache. I wore them around the house and I realized they are a scam. I paid way too much money for a pair of shoes that didn't give me any comfort.

I am so disappointed. Earlier this year I ordered and reviewed the Sport White 08, where the sensor part collapsed and the sole completely wore out in less than two months of daily use! Since I still have the MBT Sport White 04 and the MBT Sandal Black 04, and am still using them almost every day and they are my favorite footwear ever and also seem to last forever (three years so far), I decided to give the Chapa a try. Well again they did not feel like my original MBT, and again after only six weeks of use these too are almost completely worn out! I really feel let down by this company that once made the great quality footwear that I still love and still literally live in.

Not for Me! I was totally disappointed in these shoes. I purchased the shoes with the expectation they would relieve the arthritic pain in my knee. When I tried to walk in these shoes, the pain in my knee was worse, much worse. I think these shoes should be recommended only to persons already in good physical condition. Also, as other reviewers mentioned, it is very difficult to balance when standing still. They look weird, but I would have gladly worn them if they did the job of supporting my knee.

Something strange with angle of shoe - I agree with another reviewer that there is something strange with this shoe. I do not have pronation problems but felt my feet were slanted inwards a little. Then, with my high arch and wide feet, it made the side part of the shoe (near where the metal thing holds the shoelace) dig into my ankle. Maybe people with narrower feet or lower arches will have more success. Unlike other MBTs, these did seem more true to size instead of running small. Anyway, I returned these for a different style.
