Love these shoes - I usually wear a size 6 but these run a bit big so I'm in a 5.5. Very comfortable. Have used them in a few workouts and they feel great, which is to say that I don't notice them. (I only notice shoes when they hurt!) Maybe not as much support for overpronation, but I only notice when I'm looking for it.

The best New Balance shoes - I bought these shoes because I am going to Europe and will do a fair amount of walking. These shoes are so comfortable. I usually have to gradually "break in" my new shoes, I had absolutely no problem with these. They have the soft cushion heels, that is so important. They are the best, I will never wear any other shoe for walking.

Buy these, they are worth every penny. I have other NB shoes, they have never let me down.

Great all purpose shoe - I have low muscle tone pronation of my ankles and these shoes are great at helping to support them. The arch support still isn't quite enough for me, but no shoe has ever been enough for me. The one concern I will voice about this shoe is that it is very narrow. I ordered the regular shoe first and it even appears more narrow than normal. I sent it back and ordered a wide and it is perfect. I have never needed a wide in any shoe before. (Zappos was first rate in handling the return. Really easy and fast.)

These sneakers are great, very comfortable, with no break-in period needed. I originally ordered a 7 1\/2, my usual size, but ended up exchanging for size 8. Return\/reorder process was painless, quick and efficient, I love shopping on Zappos! I highly recommend the shoes and the site

Kind of an old fashioned design, and a bit stiff, but, extremely stable. A good choice for body pump or anything with weights when stability is needed.

I purchased these sneakers because of the availability of the width, which I so needed. I like the sneaker style very much, but there is a flaw in design. The "tongue" can easily be dislodged if you give it a slight tug. Unlike other sneakers I had, the "tongue" is not reinforced. There is usually two parallel stitches, and this one does not have that. So be careful not to tug it. It is better to make sure the "tongue" doe not slide down initially.

The first shoes I've ever owned that were wide enough (4E). I bought my usual size (8-1/2) and I guess when shoes are wide enough, then I only need an 8. Also, the toe end is the right width, but for me the heel end is way too wide. Lots of slop either from the extra heel width or the extra 1/2 size. Had to wear them outside to tell, so can't return them. I have added insoles and tissue in the toe, have to tie extra tight, still loose. Soles are stiff, and don't get much heel-to-toe roll while walking. A day of wearing these makes my ankles and knees sore, but for this price, I guess I'll have to keep wearing them.

Ordered these in a 7.5 4E and love the shoe but it is going back - they seem to run small. Kept the Propet walking shoe which was a much better fit. Personally, I like the look of the shoe and may try it again later in a size larger.

I bought these shoes for aerobic and sculpting workouts. I recently was diagnosed with a bunion and I have used orthotics in these shoes with no problem. The shoe itself is nice and clean looking to me, mostly white, with some light blue. They are a bit heavy though. I really like how supportive they are and the stability control. When doing things like side lunges, they are great. They are also very nicely cushioned. The only thing that I don’t really like is that when I do front and rear lunges, the leather above the toes is not very giving. I wish that this could have been a mesh area while keeping the leather on the sides for support.

After a few returns (no fault of zappos), I finally got my size right. It will vary from shoe to shoe… these are 9 1/2WW, normally I’m 9WW. These run a little small in width so went to half size. More than anything, just to be able to return for free was a pleasure.

Ok shoe - I have a narrow foot (9.5N with 4a heel) and the need for good arch supports. Though this shoe is narrow enough, it doesn't have what I need for arch support. I have to put in extra supports. I ordered a 10 as reviewers said it ran small and had to reorder a 10.5. The toe is rounded so there is plenty of toe room.

It's a basic good shoe - overpriced for what you get, if you ask me. I got them in size 9W, and they are all right on my wide feet, however, the toe box is a little small, so they would probably be better in 1/2 size larger. Still, I like the simple look (hate the "space age" unnecessary stuff), plus they are all-leather, which I prefer to synthetic perforated material. The shoes are very light. Overall, I would say they are a bit less roomy than my very old Reeboks, though the Reeboks were in regular size 9 (not 9W). I would recommend this trainer for its look alone, and they are also pretty comfortable, all things considered.

Walking shoe - This shoe/sneaker is wonderfully constructed and gives excellent support. I have one foot with considerable pain and swelling from arthritis so that particular foot felt fairly stiff in the shoe. However, after "breaking the shoes in", they gave me the support I needed. The width was true to what it was reported to be. I would have liked a "softer" feel to the shoe once I had it on but then it probably wouldn't have given me the support that was needed. Overall, I think it is an excellent shoe, especially if you are doing a lot of walking.

Not as comfortable as other New Balance shoes; caused blisters on toes and bunion while other shoes the same size were very comfortable.

This NB is bigger than others of the same size and width (both width and length are bigger). When I bought it I bought several others at the same time to compare; it was the best as the others were too narrow, but I continually trade this one off with my older shoes as I walk 4 miles daily. My feet get very hot in them when I walk. They are my least favorite; although I am a loyal NB user.

Disappointed - This is the second pair of New Balance shoes I have purchased. The first pair was in the regular width, and it felt just a little tight. So, I ordered this pair in a wide thinking it would feel better. Boy was I wrong. I wear a 5.5 and ordered a 6 Wide. It feels like a 5 with a regular width. Did I get the lemon? I am so disappointed to spend this kind of money and be so unhappy with the brand of shoe, especially since everyone raves about New Balance. Never AGAIN.

I'm very disappointed. From outward appearance I love the shoe. However, that's as far as it goes. I ordered 8 1/2 EEEE as I have a very wide foot that is hard to fit. I usually just get a EEE but my feet have been swelling a lot. I didn't have any trouble with the fit. They were very heavy and my feet are still hurting so bad after wearing them all afternoon. They weren't too tight or anything they just caused my feet to hurt. These are going back. I rated it a 1 star on overall and comfort but really it should of been a minus star my feet hurt that bad.
