These will not break in. In fact, they are more and more painful the more that I wear them. Something is wrong with the way the canvas is sewn in the toe box, because when your foot bends the whole top of the shoe clamps down. This drives the rivets into your skin. The only time these shoes feel good is when I'm standing still, and unfortunately I do not have someone that will carry me from place to place. When standing, my foot has plenty of room, and is not restricted at all, so it's definitely something to do with the sewing. Another weird thing is the insoles. There is no arch where an arch should be, but there does seem to be one on the outer side of the foot...why is there an arch there? It causes me to be constantly adjusting my feet as I walk, and I look ridiculous. I hate these shoes so very much.
