These are plenty fine shoes for the purpose for which I bought them: Light work around the house. Very light and flexible, and being a Vegan with expanding but still limited choices, it's nice to have these shoes available. Definitely recommend.

Cute but way too big. My toes weren't even close to the edge. Will have to buy a smaller size in the future.

Bought these for the boyfriend and he loved them! He wears them all the time and they look great in a pair of jeans or shorts.

These shoes are comfortable for everyday use. But make sure you break them in before you go on any lengthy walk.

I got these to replace my Macbeth vegan shoes I've had since last year. After about 1 year exactly they are just now beginning to show signs of wear. Naturally, I decided to get a new pair for this summer. They are well made and comfortable after a few days of breaking them in. As others have mentioned you will probably want to order a size smaller than you usually wear. I usually wear a size 11 but 11 was too big. I exchanged them with no problems for size 10 and they fit nicely.

Really comfortable everyday shoe. I've taken them hiking and to the beach (just the sand, though). They are usable in those areas, but probably shouldn't be used for that kind of activity regularly. An amazing everyday shoe.

I like this shoe a lot. Plus it is my first Vegan related clothing purchase. A great shoe that doesn't make your large feet look like boats. I will buy in other colors. It's very comfortable, and I believe that is related to the very stable heel design.

Comfortable, stylish shoe. The shoe isn't too sturdy (it is a sneaker, after all). There is a reinforced heel with some kind of tough plastic inside. Very happy with it, overall.

I've had these shows for a couple of weeks. I love them. They are cut narrow but honestly, that's not really a big deal. The width of my foot presses against the sides of the shoe, so I went down a size like everybody recommends, I would probably be really uncomfortable. I've heard from my vegan friends that vegan shoes tear up faster than most regular shoes, so I'm still waiting to see on that aspect. I expect a solid year+ out of these guys though (my normal shoe cycle). I was originally gonna buy from the Macbeth site, but they were going to charge for shipping, Zappos had the shoes for the same price but with free shipping. It was a no brainer, but I feel like might have gotten some extra goodies if I ordered them from Macbeth store.. (i.e. stickers, promo cards, extra laces) hope this helped!

I picked a half size smaller. I wear 8's but ordered a 7.5 and it fits perfectly. I've had mine for almost a year now. These are really great sneakers.

Love these shoes. This is my third pair of Eliots. They are great for those whose feet are on the slightly narrower side, as some unisex shoes seem to run too wide for me. Love!

My son loves these shoes. Will only wear Macbeth. I found they run 1/2 size bigger than normal. Order half size smaller than you normally would.

Picked up the Eliot Vegan a while back because I thought it looked pretty cool. Many times, shoes don't look as good in person as they do online, but these do. I decided to pick up a 9 (I usually wear a 9 1/2) because I read that they run a bit big? They fit but they're pretty snug. I'm hoping they'll stretch a bit as time goes on. I am a drummer and usually wear Converse Chucks when playing. These feel pretty close to a chuck although the toe area seems a bit more snug. Then again it may be the smaller size I went with. But it's pretty similar to a 'Chuck' as far as support goes. They look cool but if I'm on my feet standing for a long time, they're not super comfortable. They're a pretty lightweight shoe since they're canvas. I've had these for about a month now and wear them a couple of days a week and haven't had any problems yet with anything coming apart or stitching coming loose. I don't use the heel loop to put them on so that's still looking good. Overall I really like these shoes. They're really cool looking. My hope is that they come out with an Eliot Premium in this color scheme.

My teenage daughter wears these probably our 5th pair. the last pair we returned because the back loop - strap broke first time "pulling" them on. Quickly returned to Zappos and ordered another pair. otherwise all other pairs have been great. Very happy!

I bought these shoes about two years ago, and I still wear them every day. Frequent use has worn them down a little, but I like them so much, I am going to buy another pair just like them. I expect to wear the first pair as my scrubby shoes for years to come.

Fantastic sneakers! Very comfortable, barely feel like you are wearing shoes at all. Only thing negative I can say about them is that they make your feet look shorter than they actually are. But overall they are a great shoe!

The refreshed Eliots are as great as they have always been. The laces are more a royal blue.

This is the best pair of shoes that I have ever owned. Now that I am growing up, I felt silly wearing the big, puffy skate shoes that I always bought. But I am still not ready to be boring. These shoes are perfect. They feel durable, and look amazing. Macbeth shoes did a great job with the Eliot. I could not be happier. Thanks, Zappos!

I purchased these as a replacement for the Manchesters that I had previously but no longer were available in the color I wanted. I like these but honestly enjoyed the Manchester more. These feel too thin, and have zero padding on the inside at all. Also I purchased the exact same size as the ones I had before and these fit completely different. These are definitely longer and a little narrower which just makes for ordering awkward. Honestly The next pair I purchase I might just wait until the Manchester is back in stock for the color I want. As always shipping with Zappos was amazing.

Decent shoe, maybe a little overpriced. The loops at the back broke within the first week, so it's a little hard to pull the shoe on. Gets little grip on wet surfaces. Once I broke the shoes in, they became quite comfortable, definitely hold your foot well. They gave me blisters on the backs of my heels until I had them broken in though. Make sure you have time to wear them around the house before you need to use them as a daily shoe.

The shoes are comfortable from the start. They seem to be well made. I would buy these and their other models again.

I have bought many Macbeth shoes before and have been completely satisfied with all of them. They seem reliable, have many vegan versions, and have nice designs. I have to dock this one by a single star because the fit is different. I always buy 9.5 which always fits, but on this particular one, the heel is farther back resulting in some blisters for me. After about a week of breaking it in, this problem went away either because the fabric softened or moved in some way. Still very happy with these shoes and the brand despite this small issue. Unfortunately, they don't fit quite as tightly as I'd like in the heel.

I have to wear insoles with my street or flat shoes. These Macbeth skate shoes look adorable and felt great out of the box with little-to-no-uncomfy break in period.
