I love Zappos. I've ordered many pairs of shoes from them and appreciate their great return policy. My most recent order was for a pair of Pediped shoes for my 2 year old son. The shoes are great, perfect for growing feet and well-worth the price. They are flexible and allow for flexion, yet supportive. They are also great for wide feet, as my son has wide feet and these are really comfortable for him. And of course Zappos shipped quickly and made it another great shopping experience!

I purchased these for my son for Spring. I LOVE them! They fit great and are adorable. I normally would not have purchased them since they only come in (M) width because my son has a little bit of a wide foot. I read some reviews though and they seemed to fit a little wider than normal--which they do. I love that, but if you are looking for a narrow shoe, then you may need to pick another one. If you have a little boy with normal to wide feet, these would be perfect. I never write reviews, but I have been so pleased with these shoes & Zappos that I thought I would come here and write reviews for all of the shoes I purchased for him for Spring (Crocs too--love those!). Overall this shoe is a great causal or dress shoe and seems like it will hold up well. I would recommend it to anyone!

I love them. They're a little pricey for how quickly how son goes through them (and we always have a couple pair for each size), but they're so cute and good for his feet. I think they've helped him become more agile as he walks and runs. The nice thing about this style is that it can pass as a sporty sneaker with play clothes and a casual shoe with nice clothes, so they're versatile. Also, as another reader suggested, I do put them in the washing machine to clean them, then delicate cycle, air dry.

We chose the pediped Jake toddler shoe for our 2 year old. He actually had the exact same shoe the previous fall/winter and here's why. He had mastered walking, but had taken many trips, spills and falls as all boys do. The shoes lasted him all fall, winter and into the spring withstanding the rain and other elements and still look amazing. Our son's feet are a little wide and the pedipeds are a perfect fit.

We love the Pediped shoes. This is my grandson's second pair of "Jake" shoes. (He outgrew the last pair.) They hold up well and look so nice.

Great Shoes! Ordered these for my 2 year old son, who wore the original pedipeds when he first started walking. So I jumped at the chance to try the new versions for older toddlers. Am very impressed with this shoe, its very flexible and fits his wide foot well. Easy to put on but not "obvious" with the velcro as with other same-type shoes since it has the mock lacing.

I like this shoe. Pediped's are great shoes. There are a few things that bug me about them, though. The material doesn't wear the greatest. I wish it were more washable. The sole is a little clunky, which makes the shoe a bit heavy. Maybe it's just because my guy is a relatively new walker, but he's always clomping around in these a little awkwardly. The leather lining does get a bit smelly after a lot of use. (I like the new material that Pediped is using now, that absorbs and wicks mositure.). They do have good support and I would recommend them, even though they do have some drawbacks.

Excellent shoe, but it is not fully leather lined. The shoes fit his wide foot very well, moderately easy to put on. They are not fully lined with leather, though. Only the top part of the shoe (about 1/2 inch) is lined with leather, the rest of the shoe is lined with soft mesh fabric. The insoles are cushioned and top of the insole appears to be leather. The only thing I do not like about this shoe is that the tongue is short and it is not attached to the strap, as a result when my son puts them on by himself the tongue gets squished at the front.

My son was 2 yr old when I bought these shoes and granted he plays rough, these shoes did not last a month. I had to replace them. The new one (Jumping Jacks) were much more sturdier and held for much longer (he was still playing rough!). So, I will never buy pediped's again.

So far so good! These were a splurge for my son to coordinate with his school uniform. He is a very active kindergartener and I wanted comfortable, durable shoes that could survive the playground yet look decent (not “loud” like most tennis shoes). He loves them, says they are comfortable and he can “climb anything” in them. We will see if they hold up as well as I’m hoping!

We love the Jake Flex Pediped! It is a solid, well made shoe for growing feet. They can be dressed up or down, and are easy to clean. They are easy on and off for little hands. And, just as importantly, our little boy loves to wear them. They are worth the price. Thank you, Zappos, for continued excellent customer service!

This is the second pair in blue, that I've purchased or my 5 yr old grandson. The quality is there, as well as comfort and style. They look great with jeans and outfits a little more dressy. Thank you, Zappo's!

The one thing i noticed about these was their traction was excellent. The first shoe me 2yr old was able to walk up a plastic playground slide, with no sign of slipping. . . He also seems to be happy with them overall.

Perfect shoe for my two and a half year old. He loves them and always chooses these shoes. Wears like a sneaker but is a bit more stylish and dressed up.

I ordered four different simple shoes for my almost four year old to try on and these were the most comfortable and easy to put on. They are way cuter in person. They go with everything. They can go to school or church.

This was the second shoe I had to purchase for my 4 year old. Pediped is so much more superior to Run Kai! My son loves them (for him that means comfort) and they seem supportive as well as have perfect room for growth. I will definitely buy these again until he outgrows this brand.

Great shoes! Fits well, provides good support, very sturdy and easy to wear. My son is very comfortable in them. Also looks really good. Love the rich brown color with the contrast white soles and laces. Can't go wrong with this pair of shoes. Love Pediped.

The Jake shoe was the first shoe I purchased for my then 10 month old son. He is now 6 1/2. I have purchased the same shoe in different colors and sizes. We love pediped shoes and the Jake is my favorite. The first pair of Jake shoes has now been worn by all three of my boys and still looks in great condition! If I had a fourth, he could definitely still wear the first pair too! I would recommend this shoe to everyone.

The Pediped brand of shoes seem to provide more wiggle room and comfort for our son's feet compared to Stride Rite. The shoe has a nice roomy box cut design and a sufficiently long velcro strap. The long velcro strap allows the shoe to fit for a longer period of time and provides better security than inferior designs. An added bonus common at least to this particular model shoe is the clever secondary insole allowing us to customize the fit of the shoe when our son is in between sizes.
