Just bought the Navy blue Keds Champions and they are really great. They are very comfortable and feel well made. I think Keds took some earlier criticisms on quality and really re-worked the materials, as this feels like a great product. I really like the sleek simple look and am wearing these at work for casual friday as I write.

I'm so psyched to see classic white Keds coming back, for men & women! I've been wearing Keds since I was about 12, for cheer, and I bought my boyfriend his first pair last year. He wears 'em with shorts, jeans, capris (even the occasional cargo skirt -- so cute!). They're fun & cute and we wear them together all the time. He gets tons of compliments, especially from women of a certain age. Thanks for a classic product & terrific service.

I received a pair of Picante and a pair of Blue Keds Champions with the excellent help from Zappos. The colors make a nice addition to other colors in the men's line. The colored laces match the shoes well. The eyelets are also colored which is better than the aluminum ones that discolor the laces after wearing awhile. I have worn and worn out many pairs of Keds. It is good to have the men's line brought back, although the women's version filled that gap. Keds Champions are classic shoes with a simple design. They are easy and comfortable to wear after a short break-in time. I would recommend Keds as a way to enjoy a more relaxed and simpler approach to life.

Like many, I was very pleased to find that classic Keds were finally available again in men's sizes, so I ordered these as soon as I discovered them, in navy. My comments here are meant mostly to help others in terms of size and fit -- all reference below is to wearing the shoes without socks. I normally take a 10 1/2 or 11, depending on the shoe, width D; I have the feeling that my actual size would be 10 3/4 D, if such a thing existed. In brief, I'm in the difficult-to-fit category. 10 1/2 or 11? After reading the reviews here and speaking at length with the Zappos customer service rep. (very helpful), I opted for 10 1/2, fingers crossed. Bingo. I'm wearing them for the second day now, and I'm sure 11 would have been too big. Maybe way too big. Not in width -- in fact, the M width of these is a bit tight so far for me, a D -- but in length: there's more forward toe room than would be expected, so much so that I imagine 11s would be flopping out in front me announcing my arrival. It's good to have the room, although it does give the shoe just a bit of a longboat look. Upshot for sizing, judging from my experience with these: don't go for larger than usual if you're normally a solid size X. If, like me, you're normally an in-betweener, go for the smaller of the two sizes. In terms of width, feet D or narrower should do okay (although a narrow C might have extra room); an E will probably find these tight, but presumably the canvas will stretch with wear? Style wise, pretty much what I expected except for the extra forward toe room. The sole seems just fine. Like some others, I would prefer the classic crepe sole (or whatever it's called), but the important point is that the sole is not of the boat shoe type that can collect sand and tiny pebbles. Only one disappointment, minor. If I remember correctly (I may not -- it's been a long long time!), the old classic Keds had fairly good built-in arch support. These go the modern route of a removable cushion (okay by me; nicely washable), and while there is arch support, it's not all that much. Not bad, but not ideal. Overall judgment: definitely thumbs up, a solid A- at least. Even though this is only the second day I've had them, I can already feel these becoming my principal everyday summer shoe.

I love the simple, classic styling of these shoes, but unfortunately they just aren't very comfortable. They're slightly narrow, though that's not nearly as big a problem as the stiff canvas, which tears up my Achilles. I'm hoping that a little time and a lot of moleskin will help me break these in, but right now they seem more likely to break me.

These shoes are actually popular in swing dance (Lindy Hop) circles. Have the Keds Anchor Lows and love them. Thought I would try the Champion CVOs. They run significantly narrower than the Anchor Lows, and very narrow in general. I wore them for a week hoping they would stretch out a bit but they didn't budge. Unfortunate since they hurt my feet and assume I have no choice but to get rid of them. Bottom line, if you order them and they feel narrow, know that they do not stretch!

These Shoes are super comfortable and fit quiet well I wear them everyday. I really think they are far better than Vans LO sole style. Those are more stiff and are only wearable for short periods of time.

Overall I have been extremely pleased by these Keds. They are comfortable and stylish while not too flashy. There is decent arch support via an insole that is already used in the shoes. If you're looking for white canvas shoes, you can't go wrong here.

I love these Keds! The canvas is sturdy, the insoles are firm, but quite comfortable, and the styling is very attractive. They feel much more like the Keds from the '80s than do the women's Champion Oxfords since the advent of the terry-lined canvas featured in the more recent versions of the ladies style. I feel like I have my Keds back!

This is one of the greatest shoes ever made. Its simple design, stylish look, and comfort make it a classic. The Champion looks great with every outfit from shorts, to khakis, to jeans. I get compliments all the time on this timeless classic. The only con: the cost of the men's version compared to the women's champion.

Love these. Low Profile (snugger fit than Vans, which I like), light weight, washing machine friendly. And delivered promptly.

I love my new Keds, I look just like Mr. Rogers! No but seriously, they are exactly what I was looking for a well made, no nonsense canvas sneaker. there are some pricier knock offs out there, but why try to improve on this, seriously? Also, Zappos customer service was excellent. These do run large, I'm typically a ten, and after two exchanges I am comfortable in a nine (though I probably could've squeezed in to an 8.5). So order a size smaller!

Love these Keds sneakers. Bought a pair in white some time ago and wear them all the time. They are simple and stylish. I get all kinds of compliments on them and have been asked by several of my friends where to get them. Glad Keds brought men's styles back.

Love the shoes! Really comfortable and they look great. I would reccommend going a size lower than usual, I typically wear an 11 and had to get these in 10s. Zappos was fantastic as usual.

It's a bit tight on the sides, but it's a nice shoe for the summer/spring. Wear it with no socks please - it looks embarrassing when guys wear this with shorts and white socks.

I have found these shoes very comfortable. Now it's good to see them in mens finally. A couple problems that I figured out with these shoes, is on like tile floor they are noisy with a squeaky sound, and also the other thing I don't like about these is the 2 eyelets which they put on the side of the shoe on the inside part to your feet. I would buy several pairs of these if they would not have those eyelets in the side of the shoe, and go back to the original design on the bottom. Otherwise, other than that I love these shoes. Be great to start seeing more guys wearing these. Although I cant seem to lean away from wearing the womens version though, as those are very comfortable as well. If it was not for womens having the 4 row eyelets on the laces compared to the guys 5 row eyelets, it would be difficult to tell if you were wearing guys or womens version. I am thinking on staying with the womens version since the mens do have those eyelets on the inside part of your foot of the shoe.

I purchased these shoes at the request of my 16 year old son. He loves them and they look great. They do run a full size too large so you may want to order a size smaller that you usually do. We are very happy with them.

I just received my new red Keds, and they're great! Thanks for bringing back the men's Champions in red. They are super comfortable and I love the simple, traditional look. I would prefer the original crepe rubber sole instead of the new tennis-racket design, and white eyelets instead of metal ones, but aside from that I am quite satisfied. The service I received from Zappos was fantastic.

Good Ole Keds - I am glad to see Keds come back for the guys. I have worn Keds for years. When they stopped making men’s I wore women’s and still do. I love to wear Keds barefoot since they are so cool and comfortable to wear that way and I like the look too. They go great with my blue jeans and cutoffs. I also like seeing women wearing Keds too. I have worn a lot of Keds over the years. I usually get about a year of wear out of a pair of my Keds. I get holes in the toes of them. I think they are cool when they are old and have holes in the toes. I hope Keds will keep making the men’s Keds as they are my favorite tennis shoes.

Return of a Classic! After nearly a 10-year hiatus, Keds has gingerly dipped its toe back into the mens sneaker market. They have been reintroducing classic styles from their past in limited markets, and have finally brought back the Champion CVO for men. This is a smart move, because the trim, unadorned by corporate logos, low-profile casual sneaker (the Brits call them 'plimsolls') have been a fashion staple for more style-conscious men in Europe and the UK for some time now. Keds has done a good job with their Champion. It is very nicely put together, and despite its slim lines, boasts a removeable insole that provides excellent arch support. The only minus is the rather odd 'tennis-racquet' design on the sole. I don't know if this is a reproduction of what they used to have with this shoe, but it does seem a little 'gimmicky'. But overall a great, stylish casual sneaker for the man with a more sophisticated sense of style.
