I ordered the Keds Champion CVO for my son. Delivery was quick and my son really liked the shoes. Unfortunately, the shoes did not hold up and had a break between the sole/fabric within 1 ½ months. I contacted Zappos and explained our disappointment with the quality of the first pair of shoes. They promptly replaced them - free of charge. That was awesome service. The new Keds are holding up fine so far. Zappos' customer service and delivery are great!

I have no problems with the styling of this shoe, which I ordered in white. I had to return my initial order and size down to a 9.5 from a 10.5, but the shoe is still a little narrow for my taste. Looks better once it gets a little scuffed up and the white isn't so vibrant.

Beautiful shoes but nothing special. The material used for the upper is so rough that rubbed badly on my causing a bruise. I hope it's because it is new and would soften up eventually.

Very light and comfy shoes, but didn't expect the sole to be so low.

Be careful with this shoe. While the shoe seems well-made, it has at least one bad feature. For me, the top of the heel stitching is too high and rough and irritates my foot.Hard to say whether it will be capable of stretching to fit better.

These shoes are simple and easy, just the way I like 'em. The soles are moderately thick and provide support without getting in the way. I enjoy the style and like the color I chose - navy blue - a lot. After about a year of wearing these shoes though, they have begun to fall apart. The rubber seam connected to the canvas at the bottom of the shoe is starting to come unattached all around. There are holes worn in both shoes where they crease the most at the toes, one of the little metal washers has fallen out of the sides, and both pairs of shoelaces broke when (very reasonably) trying to tie my shoes. I will note that I don't abuse these shoes too much - just city walking, really. Target also has the same style shoes for considerably less, and my friends tell me they last longer. Good shoe overall, disappointing about the quality. I expect more from Keds.

I was essentially looking for a better constructed pair of Vans. These do have a thicker canvas than Vans, but I found that holes formed on both feet where the heel meets the canvas wall, pretty much exposing my heel. This formed after only 10 weeks, which is rather disappointing.

These are simple and classic and are good to wear as a casual alternative to loafers, however keep in mind: they may be in the category of "sneakers" but they are not athletic sneakers. They are not built for wearing for long stretches of time because they have little support, plus if your foot is wide (as is mine) these are very narrow and can feel a little tight. They look crisp but you'll also feel better when you take them off!

Awesome Zappos service. But I ordered a 10 mens, and they were so large it was as if they were a full size and a half larger. Got my return pair quickly (9 1/2) but these shoes refuse to be broken in, they're so rigid and inflexible. I almost never wear with socks. Sure like the look though. We'll see what happens.

Great shoe, classic style. The heel tab now has the lettering in white on a blue background. And just a heads-up: Keds is discontinuing the men's line of shoes, so once these are gone, that's it! Unfortunately, while the plimsoll-style sneaker is still popular in Europe, it doesn't work so well in the US (I think too many men think the look is effeminate, so you're stuck with clunky skate shoes, cross-trainers, 'moon boot' b-ball shoes, etc). If you like this style, you'd better stock up now before they're gone for good!

These shoes absolutely killed me. I prefer canvas shoes, so I'm no stranger to their limitations (such as poor arch support and a lack of water resistance), but these Keds felt like something out of the Spanish Inquisition the first time I walked around in them. The back of each heel was chewed up, and the width is far too narrow for me. Unfortunately, I threw out the box and I doubt Zappos would allow me to return the shoes, what with all the blood running down the back.

The entire sole busted through in less than a month with moderate wear. I shoe-gooed them and it rebusted in a different spot. If they had been cheaper, I wouldn't have minded, but this price is a bit too much to spend on a shoe that just doesn't last.

These shoes look great, love em. They dont last very long though, and I didnt even wear them too often. I bought these shoes to just wear to school, i have other shoes for work. They only lasted around 6 months or half a year before the rubber sole started coming apart from the rest of the shoe. I have a friend that lives in San Francisco and he walks around town 10x more then me and he bought a pair, said they didn't last till the end of the month. Great looking shoes, dont last long

I have been purchasing this shoe for the past 7 or 8 years, but Keds seems to have recently changed the design of the heel so that it curves slightly more inward. For me, this resulted in extreme pain on the back of my ankle that I could not figure out any remedy for. I contacted Keds and they were extremely unresponsive. While I'm sure this won't be a problem for everyone who purchases this shoe, you might want to wear it around the house for a few days before making a decision to keep the pair.

For the 0.01% of people for whom this applies: These shoes are no longer suitable for swing dancing, unless you suede them. Keds changed the material they use for the soles of these shoes. The new material is rougher and stickier even after it's worn smooth. This is probably an improvement for most people, but the new soles are way too sticky if you want to dance on them. Oh well. They seem like decent shoes otherwise, and if you like to suede your shoes, you shouldn't have a problem.

I have these in grey color and I wear size 44 (us 10.5, uk 9.5) usually, so the same size of these shoes fit me well. My feet is narrow and the width is fine for me as well, no complaints here. In general I like how they look on a foot. But now, after a less than a month of light use (just walking, no running, no soccer playing or any kind of sport that could damage footwear) I must admit these shoes won't last long. If you take out the insole you will notice that the bottom of the shoe is just a cardboard. The back of the shoe keeps its form because of the cardboard too (which is thinner and is sewn between the fabric) and this one got crumpled somehow now, so that the heel area is no longer keeping its shape. The insole is annoying, I wear white no-show socks and the insole colors them after every wear. And they give blisters for the first few wears. The fabric on the inside looks worn and frayed. So think twice before you order these. I paid 43 dollars for them (sale period), not much, but these are the most short lasting shoes I've had to this moment.

I got these for my boyfriend to replace his previous falling apart pair of sneakers. They're good-looking and he liked the way they fit...until the sole fell off 3 months in. Incredibly disappointing, as I'd always thought of Keds as a quality brand.
