Awesome shoe! Well made and great style. But very narrow fit. Too narrow for my regular (normal/medium) width feet. Sadly, I have to return them.

The full lace up design is perfect for those who want a custom fit. 7 to 10 mile hikes navigate well in these shoes. They stay put and maintain a good feel, no need for breaking in. Not a very heavy heal pad, some could get heal bruising if you are accustomed to a heavy foot fall.

Loved the look of these shoes and they fit well. I was looking for a shoe I could wear all day long walking and standing, and the only drawback to these that I see is that the footbed is a bit firm. I don't think my feet would be comfy in them all day long without adding additional insoles.

Great shoe! A bit stiff, at first but once broken in, molded to my feet and are very comfortable. Very good soles and overall, very durable.

I usually take an 11.5Wide in women's or a 10Med in men's. I ordered a 43. The shoe was long enough but too narrow and too tight in the toe-box due to its v-shape. Disappointing because otherwise I really liked this shoe.

These are solid climbing approach shoes, and they look good too. The fit is snug, which is what you want for this type of shoe.
The shoe has a thick tongue, which causes the top of my foot to become sore when I lace the shoes up to the normal tightness. If I lace them up loosely, this is less of a problem, but I still find myself fiddling with the tongue to keep them comfortable.
An additional comment is that these shoes don't breathe very much. I hear this is common across approach shoes (e.g. also the 5.10 camp 4).

Solid shoes, built in Romania. Fit is definitely narrow; however, even though my feet are narrow, the last used in these shoes is narrow in the wrong spots: the toe box was a too cramped both horizontally and vertically, and the heel was too wide. If you have a wider forefoot and narrower heel, look elsewhere, even if it is another Scarpa model on a different last. Also, arch support was too aggressive: great for someone with high arches, but if you have normal or low arches, it may be too much and cause discomfort as it did for me.

These shoes fit my narrow foot perfectly. It is too bad they have absolutely no cushioning. There is no midsole cushioning, and the insole is the thinnest I have ever seen. As a result they are not comfortable enough for every day wear so I am returning them.

Very surprised by these. I ended up doing quite a bit more hiking in these than I originally was expecting, and thought they were excellent. For low tops, they're surprisingly water resistant. I went through a couple of puddles in the range of 2-3 inches, submerging the shoe past the sole, and came out pretty dry. Grip was excellent, even on wet rocks. Best low top hikers I've ever had.

Bought these shoes for day hiking/light backpacking/around town. Great fit, comfortable, stylish. Unfortunately, although the soles still have a lot of wear in them, the liner has worn away on a spot inside the heel, making them unwearable. Too bad, as I really liked them, but I won't buy another pair.

Good all around. A little overpriced for the level of technology. No gusseted tongue, no provision to prevent wear at the heel so since the spot where your heel slides in and out of the shoe is very soft it is destined to blow out and kill the shoe. Like most outdoor shoes these days it has orange on it. No arch support at all. Normally I never have a problem with too little arch support but I had to put superfeet in these. Would be better with asymmetrical lacing. Unfortunately, still one of the better approach shoes this year.

I bought the Zen hoping to get a shoe similar to the Mojito, but on sale. Not so. The Mojito is popular for a reason. The Zen was on sale for a reason. Stiff, uncomfortable and a bit narrower than expected. Returned the shoe and got the Mojito for $50 more.

I want to love these shoes. They look great, but 2 things I just can't stand about them. 1) it feels like I'm walking on a flat board and 2) the tongue rolls to the outside no matter how I lace them or how tight I tie them. What a shame because they are really sharp looking!

Very cramped in the toe box, and I don't have wide feet. Tried to loosen the laces, but loosening the toe made the top loose too. The insole is effectively non-existent. I'd probably get more support from dumping a jar of peanut butter into this shoe. But if I did that I couldn't return them. The very substantial sole is hard as a rock under the really thin insole. My feet got sore while sitting on the couch watching tv. I tried to put different insoles in, but anything thicker than the insoles they came with made my heel too loose and it would pop out. These shoes also left my feet very cold. Impracticality aside: the shoes look great, and they are very stiff and rigid. If you prefer 2x4s to tennis shoes, then you should try these!

Love the look and style of the shoes, but I have a problem with the "pinch" it gives on the top of my foot 1/2 way from the shoe opening to the toe, how the toungue slides to one side constantly and it has as 0 arch support. I can't recommend this shoe.

This shoe line is fundamentally flawed. The lacing all the way down is so uncomfortable as it digs in right over the bend in your toes. I can't see how this show gets so many good reviews.

I wanted to like this shoe, but it has several problems. First, there is no padding whatsoever in the sole of the shoe. The tongue is too short and also lacks appropriate padding. The laces are too short to tie properly. It's very disappointing that a shoe at this price point was so obviously constructed as a cheap commodity item where every construction and design decision was based on cost-cutting. A far, far cry from the pair of Garmonts I had before this.
