I bought a pair of these back in 2005 and the whole upper minus the tongue was leather. The only part that is leather is the toe area. I love the look so I plan on keeping. However I was disappointed with the mostly pleather upper. Would have kept wearing the old ones but sole and foam cushioning separated. They do fit narrow at first. They stretch out after awhile.

Zappos' customer service and shipping were great as usual, but the shoes are REALLY narrow. The width was listed as "medium", but they are probably the narrowest shoes I have tried on. Sending back for a refund.

These are good looking shoes. I wanted good support for work because I am on my feet all day. The comfort lasts for about four hours then any support is gone after that. The air vents are nice if your feet sweat. If they could add just a little more padding to the inner sole they would be perfect.

I liked the shoes but I had to send them back, they were too narrow. I guess these run narrow. Sending them was very easy. Good place to buy shoes.

These sneaks run about a 1/2 size large. I am an 8 but had to change for a 7.5 and after they broke in they are perfect. My biggest fuss I suppose is, the tongues are both sewn in off center and they slide of the crown of my foot throughout the day...besides that I really like the stability, and support. First pair of sneaks I have had without extra arch support! I am impressed!

I'm on my feet for 8 hours per day for work. The actual padding of the feet is nice. The length of the shoe is spot on to my size, which is 9 1/2. The toe area, though, is too narrow. The knuckles of my feet are being squeezed together with each step and my pinky toe is being squeezed inward as well. I'm going to try a few stretching methods to help out. The laces also constantly come untied, which is a real pain to deal with while working. I really want to like this shoe. The pair looks good and, if the toe area were wider, I'd be in love with them. Hopefully, I can stretch them out a bit and make them work.

Love the shoe but it runs big. Normally I am a perfect 36 and this fits in the width but is a size too big in the length.

Made for a narrow fit this is a classic sneaker that never seems to go out of style or season. If you're familiar with the Puma brand, you know your size!

These are great looking shoes, but I wish the materials they used were a little higher quality. I guess they use a faux leather, which is fine, but they feel too much like plastic in some areas. They are also a little lower cut than what I am used to wearing so it feels like they are not on my feet all the way. But I am getting used to the fit and they feel like they are breaking in nicely. They have a great, rubbery sole that is very comfortable and seems durable. I bet that they will hold up well over time. I typically wear a 9½ so I ordered a 9½ but I sent those back because they felt too long. I ended up with a size 9 which fit me much better and I still have about a thumbs width of room at the end. I would say that they are a little narrow compared to Nike or New Balance. As always, great Zappos service!

Best tennis sneaker ever, very comfortable fit and very effective tread design makes for very good traction on all court surfaces.

This is a stylish shoe. However, my foot feels like it is outside the arch support. The arch support was good. But the shoes is too tight for my liking so I'm sending it back. You can't beat Zappos' customer service. The other shoes I ordered were too big, so I asked for a return label. He asked if I wanted to exchange them, I told him that I ordered another pair. That was late Tuesday afternoon. He stated that I will receive my shoes on Friday. They were here the next day. I'm a Zappos customer for life.

I really like these shoes! They are pretty comfortable...maybe a little stiffer than other shoes I've had, but they seem really well made. I like that it's leather so it's been helpful in rainy weather.

Looks good. They are tight even for my narrow feet. Had to use a shoe stretcher for the first week. Seems like a good shoe other than that.

This shoe vexes me like a lover spurned. Her beauty appeases the eye, yet her sole tears at me like a dagger to my heart. I dare not give her 5 stars, for true perfection would most assuredly taint her ego to magnificient proportions. I cannot hope to best her, I can only pray that I can contain her majesty until the time comes when she must join her hallowed brothers and sisters in rest at the Good Will.

Great looking shoe but too narrow for my feet. I ordered online and received the next day, extremely fast shipping. I loved the shoe and wanted it to fit but the design is just too narrow.

I love the shoe I hate that they run smaller than normal. Overall great for the price and I would buy them again

I purchased these as daily wear shoes to replace my Adidas Superstar 2G shoes that are no longer available. My ratings are in comparison to those shoes which were a staple in my wardrobe for over 15 years. I wear size 15 shoes. The last on which this shoe is built is very different than that of the Adidas shoes, so it is not really a good replacement for those hunting for 2G replacements. The Puma shoes are much straighter, so it puts pressure on the ball of my foot, and the overall footbox feels smaller and tighter. I tried wearing them for awhile, but even with break in time, they still are not comfortable. I had worn Puma tennis shoes as casual shoes in high school 35 years ago, so I was hopeful about these throwback shoes. They are leather shoes, so they breath well, and have good EVA padding throughout the foot. They also are attractive shoes, although their narrowness makes them look even longer than my 15s warrant. If they fit your feet, they would be good shoes, but as replacements for the 2G, they did not work for me.

I have tried with these shoes. I really wanted to like them. As far as comfort on the bottom of the foot and style, they are great. The problem is that they are just too narrow for my feet. I use them for work where I am on my feet for eight hours per day. By the end of the shift, I want them off as soon as possible. My feet are squeezed at the knuckles even though I have tried stretching them out a bit. If you have got really narrow feet, you may feel a lot differently about them than I do. I cannot use these anymore for fear of developing foot problems.

Loved the look of the shoe. But when you put it on the leather tongue of the shoe runs so high and is so firm that when one wears low cut socks it will tend to cut into your skin. Tongue is not soft. Had bought another pair in the past in another color and did not have this problem. But with the black and white I did. Had to return.

I had to return these. The width was unusually narrow, and though this was an inexpensive shoe, the construction was a bit flimsier than I even though. Not much cushioning and no cushioning in the tongue. They are nice looking but since I was using these for tennis, I need something with more support. I guess I'll have to spend twice as much.

Had to return, very narrow, I wear a women's medium but had to order a mens 11 medium because they don't make a women's 12 med. It was so narrow I couldn't get my foot into it. Great looking shoe.

The Puma GV Special shoes are having a very nice design, but they fail short because of the hard rubber sole. You barely can bend this sport shoe. I was excited when I saw this shoe, because I remember how comfortable was back in time. Unfortunately now they made the sole out of a harder material and it's not comfortable at all. I'm sorry I have to return this nice design shoe.
