Eureka! I found a great shoe! I have a balance condition, so my shoes are as much medical device as footwear. These Naples are awesome. The backs are low and stiff enough that I can slip my foot in without bending (falling) over. I can have a little elevation from the sole and wedge height without being in danger of toppling over. The foot support is great - gives me a lot of contact along the bottom of my entire foot with the slight arch support. The bottoms are much more “grippy” than most shoes so I don’t slip on slick surfaces. Even the slightest slip sends my brain into a panic, so I would have noticed if there was any problem. I can’t do shoes that have crepe or other “sticky” soles because that trips me up. These Klogs soles are a pleasant compromise between sticky and slick. My previous shoe was an Ecco, which was great, but the Ecco’s seem to have gotten narrower. I couldn’t even get a medium on my foot and they don’t come in wide. Alternatively, I ordered the Klogs Naples in wide and feel I could have gone with the medium (given that leather stretches. I’ll try this for my next pair - which there will be one. Last thing, the sole of this shoe has some “bounce” to it, which is probably why so many reviewers who are on their feet all day love it. If you are someone who is new to balance difficulties, though, you probably want to try something with a harder, flatter, more stable sole. Slightly cushy surfaces are a real challenge for someone new to the condition.

I felt that these shoes were terribly uncomfortable. I am a librarian and am on my feet constantly. I had bought several pairs of Timberland clogs or mules from Zappo's, but apparently the company chose to stop making them.
These klogs have some kind of steel toe bed that are NOT mentioned in the description or in the video. Had I known that, I would not have purchased them. The size of the toe bed is not great to begin with, and with no give at all because of the steel or metal, I had to return them. Zappos is of course great with returns.

Based on the excellent reviews, I bought these shoes about two weeks before a Europe trip, during which I knew I would be walking on a lot of cobblestones in unpredictable weather. The shoes are absolutely for walking on uneven surfaces. They are also, I happily discovered, waterproof. It snowed in Prague in April, and I was trudging through 1-2" of snow, and puddles, in these shoes and my feet never got wet. I was so relieved. The shoes are outrageously sturdy. They did rub against some toes, so I wore blister pads, which helped a lot. The arch support is unbelievable. My feet always felt massaged. The shoes do slip a bit on the heel, as I think clogs are designed to, but the elastic through the instep always held them securely to my feet. Overall, this was a great purchase.

I finally found a Klog style, the Naples, that could accommodate my high instep. But, much to my disappointment, the size 10 is too large, slips off my heal and in the 9 1/2, my toe hits the end. So sad! Ill give thiss shoe a 5* because it is my individual foot that is hard to fit.

Bottom line: these started out really comfortable and supportive but the footbeds did not hold up nearly long enough. I bought these for waitressing in a restaurant where non-slip shoes are an absolute necessity and looking cute is not that vital. They are pretty clunky and make my 8½ sized feet look a bit large but these felt like a dream when I bought them so I did not even care what they looked like. I happened to forget socks the very first shift I wore them and did not get a single sore spot or blister. I have flatter arches and average width feet but narrow heels and they contoured to my soles comfortably with dramatically more cushion than Dansko or Sanita clogs. Sadly, within a few months they began to wear and lose their supportiveness rapidly - and I only work one or two nights per week! My Achilles tendon is very sore after a night of working and they pull up on some of my toenails, making them ache (and my toes taper in length from big toe to pinky so it is not like I have a longer second toe causing this issue). I think because they are so floppy/tall, they cause the toenail issue and also allow my ankles to roll outward sometimes even when I am just standing stationary/shifting my weight. I eventually replaced the insoles with Spenco inserts, thinking that would help but the thicker original insoles mean there is now a lot of vertical volume to fill up. I have tried adding two different kinds of ball-of-foot cushions but those end up shifting around. I am sad that these are not working long term, they were so comfortable, supportive and cushiony initially, not to mention needing to spend more money on work shoes when I am a poor grad student working only one or two nights a week. I thought these would last me at least a year!

I'm so happy with these Klogs. I've been a Dansko wearer for years and the Klogs are much more flexible, lightweight, and comfortable overall.

Best shoe for me ever. I have small feet, and I'm overweight. Work in hospital on 10 hr shifts for almost 30 years. I have gone through a lot of shoes, so far this is the most comfortable and has not worn out as fast as others. They have lasted for 6 months. I also have high arch and the elastic sides keep the top of the shoe from hurting top of foot. Highly recommend.

Comfortable and stylish, good support. I wear these at work where I am a nurse. I prefer these to Dansko, which I find to be more stiff with a higher arch.

Love these shoes! I can't wear Dansko clogs because they fall off my narrow feet. These fit great and I'm so excited to have found them.

These shoes are very comfortable and also some styles are cute. There was no break-in time, either, which is a bonus.

These Klogs are so much lighter and more comfortable than Danskos. I would never buy any other! Great fit and lots of compliments. I can wear them the whole day.

Just got these shoes. Oh my, comfort from the moment I put them on. I have plantar fasciitis. They are so nice my orthotics fit right in. Looking to buy another pair.

I love these shoes but when I took them to the podiatrist he said the arch is only foam and that they will wear down quickly. In the meantime they are comfortable.

These are the coolest clogs I have ever owned and I have owned my fair share. The comfort level is off the charts and the colors are fab. I ordered 1/2 size up for perfection.

These shoes are extremely comfortable. Foot pain used to sideline me but not any more on the down side I now notice knee pain and hip pain, but my feet can go all day long in these shoes. I am amazed. I sent back the nines and got 8.5s and I am glad I did. They were a bit tight for a couple of days (never painful) but they are perfect now. I love these shoes.

Love this shoe! It looks great and feels even better. When I first wore them they were a little tight across the top of my foot. After wearing them about 3 times they fit perfectly! I'm thinking of buying a white pair too!

Feels great right out of box. Nice wide toe box too. As pointed out by others, the heel slips a little, but still great. These were my first Klogs and I have found my new favorite brand!

Great shoes, very comfortable. Please note these shoes are very gold and shimmery much more than it appears in this picture. A little more shimmery than I was looking for so I am returning, will get one of the other colors though.

I suffer from plantar fasciitis/short achilles tendon. Podiatrist recommended Dansko which I bought and did help me some but when I went back to the Dr. complaining of the foot pain she tells me that Danskos aren't for walking. So I was back in the market for a similar shoe and came across these Klogs. Read the reviews and hesitantly bought a pair...finally a shoe that fits my 11 wide foot. Hard to explain but the footbed is nothing like the Dansko these feel like they give my feet some air support. Wore them straight out of the box for 12 hours no breaking in period and more importantly no foot pain. Love them!

I love these shoes. They are so comfortable they were like putting on slippers. They can be worn to dress up a pair of pants or even look great with a pair of jeans. I haven't had patent leather since I was a little girl - they are so fun to have!

This shoe is extremely comfortable for work. I work at a bakery where I have to wear white shoes and be on my feet all day. I was almost going to buy a pair of Dansko's, but I find them uncomfortable for walking and hustling about on my feet. I actually suffered a stress fracture and have twisted my ankle from Dansko's, but after reading reviews about other Klogs, I wanted to give these a try. There are extremely supportive for high arches, cushioned, slip resistant, and have more flexibility in the sole than other clogs I have worn. Although I have only been wearing them for a month now, they were easy to break in and the leather is easy to maintain and clean. I sturdy shoe as well. I only give them a 3 for style because let's not kid ourselves, clogs are never a stylish shoe in comparison with all those other shoes out there, but they are a necessary and practical implement for those of us on our feet. I strongly recommend this shoe.

I have these shoes in black and also in the tooled coffee brown. They are the clog-type shoe I've been searching for for a really long time. The heel slips off just a bit, when walking, but I don't care about that. These shoes look good with jeans or other casual non-denim pants. The arch support is perfect, too. All in all, it's a pretty comfortable shoe. I'd recommend it highly. If you're a nurse/doctor (I'm not), this is a great shoe to have if you're on your feet a lot.
